Wow what a week this has been, the plants have all undergone fair dramatic changes. A real flurry of leaf yellowing, pistil darkening/curling, and bug swelling. The smell is really coming along now, I think we're really quite close to harvest. On the assumption that pre-flowering was two weeks, this strain should be ready at the end of week seven flowering, so in the case of this diary the end of week nine (i.e. one week to go!). Pistils are about 70-80% amber, and the lower pistils on buds have started curling inward. Trichomes look to me to be something like 10% clear 80% Milky 10% White. I have smoke tested a small bud off the lower part of plant 3 today after quick-drying overnight in the airing cupboard, taking into consideration the obvious chlorophyll from the fast dry, the high was much closer to what I am expecting than the last smoke test. It came on at the normal pace, was quite effective, and lasted a good while. I am really hoping I can navigate my way through the next process, as I feel quite close now to having some home grown bud for the first time. The plants are being well watered this evening with just water, and this will be the last time that I water them until harvest. I will continue to monitor these daily, I intend to harvest at the first sign of any amber trichome. Advice and comments welcomed. P.S. Exciting news! Had a small issue this week where temp dropped a bit, I was on vacation for a few days and a window got left open to the room the tent is in. The room got down to 62f with the lights on. lights off temp wasn't much cooler. I noticed some canoeing on leaves near the center of the room, I am hoping this was just caused by the temperature stress that happened by the sudden drop. I fixed the temp and issue and it should be back to normal. Trichome's look great under microscope. Getting tightly packed and very cloudy, very little amber color at this point. Cheese #1 Has swelled up quite a bit over the last 5 days, The buds on it are noticeably larger than the ones on Cheese #2 I have moved the led light to cast more on cheese #2 in hopes to get the buds on it to catch up to #1 Still dealing with small calcium deficiencies, I will do a light flush this week of 1/2 strength nutrients and Cal at 6.5 Mid Weekupdate: Flushed plants with 1/3rd nutrient dose and full strength cal mag. Adjusted ph. to 6.5 to allow for better uptake of calcium. The calcium issue isnt bad just some small spotting but I am trying to get ahead of it as there is supposed to be 4 weeks left on the strain. The buds have started to tighten and get more dense. Hairs are about 40% red, some are receding into the bud. Smells like citrus.

I never actually weighed this plant once dried. I would estimate around 400+ grams as I gave away so much to friends and it still lasted me well over 2 years. Beleive it or not, my wife who disapproves of me smoking never knew I was growing. Until the end that is when she needed a screw driver and entered my shed to see what you can see in the videos. Hahahaha, it took a while to recover from this thats for sure. After this crop was finished, I basically rarely smoked for 4 years until I decided to go under lights this year. And now outdoors again with my latest project.

There was a visible attack this week. The temperature is between 25-27, the humidity varies between 60-65. There was a slow development due to excessive irrigation and I could not do LST due to the distance of the room to me. I am planning to fall leaves next week.

Welcome to the diary of the Limited edition strain: Orange skunk ryder OMG, this DANK has started to finish it smell like i have at least 50 of them in flowering, but when you follow your nose you only find this little lowryder crossbreed. it looks great, trichomes look very tiny like grown under LED, but it's outdoor i'm leaving this outside for some extra days and then i'll start to cut the main cola, which isn't really big, but smells o so promising. this plant is very stealthy, and it needs to be stealthy because it's that stinky.

December, 29th I was Invited By @Silky_smooth for an Eggunt. That means using 50gGrowmedium or less. By using small Growpots Like Eggs, eggholders or Tealightholders or anything like this I found some really nice Growingpots, and i hope i can keep them alive, because of that less soil So i started a few Days ago like everytime Letting the Seeds soak, and then putting them between 2 KitchenSponges After a few Days i got some vital Looking seedlings with tiny roots Monday. Planted them today, waiting for to show up Watered very kindly with some drops of Humic acid- Water

My Rainbow Melon plant is still one of the biggest in the tent, and it's definitely the smelliest so far. The only thing I'm not crazy about is how big the leaves are getting. It's been a challenging week with the constant rain and ridiculously high humidity. Keeping things dry indoors has been a real struggle. Despite the weather, I managed to flip all my feminized photoperiod plants to flower this week. I'm hoping the switch will go smoothly, but with this humidity, it's going to be tough.
