My Rainbow Melon plant has been a powerhouse from day one! It's always been one of the fastest and strongest growers in the tent. For a while, it was the undisputed champion in terms of size, and it's still neck and neck for second place. This plant is just bursting with vigor, and I'm super excited to see what kind of yield I get from it. It's got that classic Rainbow Melon aroma – sweet and fruity with a hint of earthiness. It's gonna be a good one! This past week has been a whirlwind of work, leaving little time for anything else. My phone's camera roll is sadly neglected, with only a few snapshots to show for it. But finally, I'm finding a moment to catch up on my grow diaries. It's been exciting to see the progress, even if it's just through photos. I'm looking forward to documenting the next stage!

Quite a week!! I did a light defoliation on day 30... I just did a heavy defoliation again on day 36.... I hope they handle this well!! I watered them on day 31 & 33... I I fed them a half dose of all 3 nutrients on day 35... They are starting to stink!! The Cloudline T6 works great!! I also LST'ed them on day 30... they seem to be opening up pretty good... even though I was really late applying the LST.... still learning!! Alana is 16" tall and Anna is 20" tall... Alana grew 6" this week!!! Incredible! I've been battling some humidity lately... it's been in the low 60's for the most part... that's part of the reason I so heavily defoliated today! Otherwise, this grow is going really well!! You'll notice I moved them into the flowering 4X4 tent... I needed to make room in the veg tent.... I germinated 2 Seedsman Strawberry Cheesecake Auto seeds and I'll start their diary tomorrow! Cheers!!

They liked the flush. 🚽 Nothing crazy this week just topped off the buckets,added nutrients,& adjusted the ph.🤷‍♂️🏽 New growth is healthy looking. 🌿

Day 10: They have been growing nicely. Beautifull green leafs, no deficiencies or stress. I did some Defoliation and I'm planning to top some plants but not all of them since they make nice main colas as well. Also nice roots so far, will let those grow for another 1-3 days before repotting them into 7L pots. While doing that I will add some new clay for beneeth the pots to have a good run-off. I will add some mycorizza as well to improve the roots and I will water them again with lots of Regulator(anti-stress) and Rhyzotonic( root stimilator). Some days after that, they are ready to get pushed into flowering. Sativas like to grow twice and sometimes even more in size. So the size which they are at the end of this week will be enough. So at the end of this week you will see them being in 7L pots and in a bigger grow space under lots of lamps. There are like 3-5 plants not growing nicely. Might have to kill them. I'm not going to waste time,energy,nutrients on those if they don't grow in size in a couple of days. So might end up with just 235 plants. Il update again at the end of this week. Day 14: I almost finished the rest of the grow room. I still need to adjust and replace the lamps some more and other things. Did many defoliation below the plants. Thoose branches are never going to preduce nice and thick buds anyways. Such a waste of energy and nutrients. Because of the removing of branches and leafs, They get a better airflow and better exposure of light as well. So for now they look a little bit ugly haha and not so bushy anymore, but they will grow into fine looking ladies. I kept 5 or 7 branches each plant and some bigger plants I even topped because I don't want them to stretch alot. Another reason is that I want bigger stems. If other plants that didnt get topped, not improving stems I can still top them until the end of week 1 of flowering. I'm putting them into flowering, by putting the lightschedule to 12hours of light and darkness. It will take a few days before they start preflowering. The first buds will be seen in like 10-14 days. Defoliated some leaves to let light in, chopped one down early as I run out of bud 🙄 it's good for less than 4 weeks flowering. Have them rice water starch again this week in with there food. A layer of frost is slowly forming 😎 hopefully they will fatten up nice and frost up really good to 🤞

I’m starting to see amber trichs on the lower sugar leaves but none on the buds. She can’t be far away now. Next feed will be molasses and then plain water after that. Happy growing.

First week back with my plants and they’re wayyy bigger than I thought they’d get! Decided to do a big defoliation since it’s about the 3-4 week in flower. And they’re getting stanky

DAY 30, LESSON LEARNED It's been a tough few days for the ladies. But, what doesnt kill u makes u stronger😁💪🏾. After my last post the plants started to show some nutrient burn. I believe that happend because after my last defoliation post I gave the plants the same amount of water and nutrients as before. But ofcourse the plants were much smaller after the defoliation, so what I should have done was reduce the amount of water and nutrients. So these last days it was just watching the plants and keeping a close eye on em.

D72. Second day of week eleven and the citrus smell is out of this world, trichomes are still clear and no amber anywhere, both ladies smell fantastic 🔥 D77. Today I harvested the old lady, she struggeled a lot last weeks since nutrient lock out, then overwatering, tricomes were already milky so I choose to not wait for amber because of the root rot and botrytis risk. On the trim she smelled fantastic and made big colas despite last three weeks stunted eating herself. Young lady is one ore two weeks to go 🔥 D75. YOUNG LADY She smell so good and trichomes are milky with some still clear and very little amber. Today I turned lights off to armaguedon her next 48 hours, no more light no more water until harvest this friday morning. D77. YOUNG LADY Bro science or not she's been thirsty for 48h in the dark and between 15 and 18°C and today, last day of eleventh week, she's already trimmed and drying with her old sister. Smell was not profound as before the dark period but smelled good when trimmed. I'll go for 10 days drying as her old sister and update total dry weight by then.
