The autos continued their steady vegetative push this week, with larger 5–7 finger leaves developing and noticeable daily growth. Canopies began to fill out, giving the plants a stronger, bushier appearance compared to the previous week. On Aug 26, the pots were watered thoroughly, and beneficial nematodes were applied as a preventative step against soil pests. This was the first pest management measure of the grow. The environment stayed stable overall. Temperatures stayed warm but within a healthy range, and humidity hovered in the target veg zone. By the end of the week, the plants looked vigorous and healthy, with no signs of stress or deficiency. They are well-prepared for topping and early training in the coming weeks.

Pretty simple first week! Seed took 3 nights for the taproot to pop and it was planted in its final pot on day 4. On day 6, it finally popped through the soil and on day 7 the little sprout is starting to grow up. There is a small piece of seed casing left attached. Going to leave it for a day or two. Very aromatic and good smelling strain, easy to grow, very resistant to diseases. No problems at all. Can't wait until the harvest will dry! And I am now re-vegging the bigger girl at 24h cycle, so let's see what happens.

Die Dame hat ein super Wuchs hingelegt. Um den unteren Trieben für den Stretch nochmal die Chance zu geben, habe ich die großen Fächerblätter entfernt. Präventiv Neemöl gesprüht, weil ich ein paar Freunde gesehen habe. Spraymix alle 2 Tage. Heute wird auch die Lampe auf 12/12 umgestellt.

End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. 05/17 - received last "week 4" nutrient mix. Next watering will introduce overdrive. Buds are looking a little smaller than expected - especially that the Northern Lights is a 6 to 7 weeks. Will most likely be pushing right to 7 maybe 8. 05/24 - May have mislabeled Bubblegum and Northern lights; Based on the "bubbled gum" being clearly more mature than the other 2 and I had some seed dropping issue I thought I had cleared up. It is what it is - but one plant has much more orange hairs than the other 2, and I had 1 "fast version" The Northern Lights. Top nugs on "Bubblegum" are nice and tight, fed last nutrients on 05/24 - will start flush on next watering. Trichomes seems to be clouding up - generally speaking. The "northern lights" and Pink Berry will keep on AN feed schedule - possibly to 9 weeks. (there's virtually no browning hairs at the start of week 6).

This grow is more around the 9 and a half week stage I’ve chopped her a few days earlier than I’d liked but she was ready with plenty of amber trichomes to be seen. I never had much hope for this girl she was just a last minute idea, I’ve also used 4 year old soil from previous grows as an experiment ..this has been a cheap run and will still be a flavoursome smoke! This strain is sooo resilient I put her through hell and she still rewarded me! (Not the greatest yield but decent) Bad quality camera just in time for harvest typical but yeah she really took off after some topping and gave me some nice heads! I’m getting a fruity biscuit sort of smell out of her she smells amazing! Will update this post in 10 days dry

I 'm using a super soil S.W.A., so any extra nuts has been added just sometimes cannazym and rhyzotonic. Remember that on the left is gorilla fast , right blackberry cake.

The Runtz beauties have made it through and are thriving. I switched to spring water to add a bit of ppm to the mix, while still getting a PH of 6.4-6.5. I mixed a spray bottle with 1 ml of Sensi Cal/Mag and .5 ml of Bonnie from Cronk nutrients. Used this mixture sparingly, misting the seedlings in the morning and night, trying not to overwater. Also used as a foliar spray just before lights out so as not to burn the plant. It been very cold and dry here, I had to add a 2nd humidifier to the tent to get the RH where I wanted it, hovering between 65 and 70% RH. The humidifiers I have are 1 gallon each and I have to refill daily! Temps has been hovering around 78 degrees and get to about 70 in lights out with the small heater I use during the winter months. Overall, they are progressing well, I’m hoping to get a few weeks of Veg time before they start to flower. 🇨🇦👊❤️
