Both S.A.D. are now also in pre-flowering. They are now starting to grow strongly in height. Everything is growing as I had imagined :-)

Week 2 starting with gsc putting out begging of pistils with others shortly behind I'm sure as it is day 10 since 12/12. on day 11 flower pistis are visable on blueberry and girlscout cookies. On day 13 OG Kush has pre flowers just waiting on blueberry muffin which were planted more recently than the others.

Hello dear fellow growers 😎 we are in the 2rd week of flowering and the 2 ladies are doing great! I'm going to start using Biobizz's bio bloom stimulator this week to improve cell division and nutrient uptake, I intentionally don't give too much otherwise the weed gets a very sweet taste (disadvantage of this product if you don't like it) The bloom stretch is almost finished, I reckon with a final height of 1.70m despite Lst since the beginning, the plant was also defoliated below! There are umpteen blossoms on both plants, you only have to look at a small part and you can already see around 20-30 and the thickness of the stems is crazy! Expect huge buds and a good yield 💯💯😎😎😍 HAD NO YELLOW LEAF YET, if a deficiency occurs in the 5th week of flowering, it will no longer be noticed. Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to take the plant out of its home and I don’t want to take pictures in the dark phase because otherwise seeds would arise (stress). But I promise you when the strain is ready comes a detailed report in writing and pictures without pufflicht the two plants are perfect, I had neither a deficiency or a yellow leaf on both plants, the only stress was to top, (lst I do not see as much stress) the two are still growing and many small flower sets were removed below, the leaves but calm. She’s taking forever and she’s so massive! I think her bud growth has slowed. I had to defoliate a couple weeks ago. She was outgrowing the tent again. I took a lot off of her. That’s probably why the slow growth now I’m thinking.

I have introduced a second bottle of CO2 to pump flowering weeks, I have cut off nutrients completely to get rid of nutes burn, plants are been fed PH water only. Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread.
