Seems to be running smoothly. I started to take some fan leaves of to get more light into the bud sites before I switch to flowering. I noticed tonight that there are very small white dots on the leaves, mainly around the bud sires but also on the fan leaves, I have attached some pictures to see if anyone knows what it might be. They have been switched to 12/12 last night I thought it was trichomes but too early?

GMO (Garlic mushroom onion) was slow to flower but came on strong weeks 8 and 9 to produce some dense heavy sticky buds. The dry weight of the plant material is unsure, but I’ll report the weight of various bubble microns when dry. Pictures of the dry bubble and maybe a melt shot impending! To dry, I decided to microplane into pizza boxes lined with parchment. It’s been fun growing along with everyone on grow diaries. Awesome

Bubble og I still have 4 of these guys going. A few of them are still dark green and pretty decent growers they have thiner leaves. I'm sure a few of these will be on the chopping block later down a few of them just have crappy start growth and they need the humidity at 75% or above 100% the time with the light lower than normal or they start to shrivel up. That's not all of them just a couple. Also I am only going to flower 8 plants out if the 12 seedling and I have 5 strains going so can't have half my plants bubble og (wish I had room to grow the full 12 plants at a time) It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

I am at a crossroads with this girl. She seems to have stopped growing but is still healthy and not quite ready for the chop. I am going to let her really dry out to see what happens next. She was a bit of an experiment but I don't feel I gained much knowledge or experience growing her (nor any significant yield). Perhaps the best lesson is not to grow single plant strains (this soon in my grow tenure) and not have a companion plant for comparison. Comments/advice welcome!

6/24/24 the videos of trichomes is from both purple octane and rs 11 Also based on trichomes. I should've counted the last week of veg as a flower week. So she's closer than we 6/25 we have clear cloudy and purple. Leaning towards her going till the end of this week. 6/28 we have about 70-80% cloudy and 20-25% amber. she's ready to go. she will be chopped tomorrow morning. 6/29 unless stated otherwise. happy growing yall, this plant is a fucking badge of honor with how beautiful she 6/28 I lied and chopped her probably 30 mins after I posted that lmao.

She has been suffering from some heat stress and also like burn but because she has been grown too close to the light .Has been growing without stop vegging for a long time meaning will allow you to do extensive training on her and maximize yield. smell is very strong and I'm glad I get a chance to this strain that has been on my reserve for at least 2 years. I’m growing Purple Queen from Royal Queen Seeds, Citradelic Sunset & Zweet Inzanity from Ethos Genetics, and King Kong From Big Buddha Seeds. Germination happened within 24hrs on all but the Zweet Inzanity which took almost 48hrs and I planted the seeds straight into their pots. I’m using Redbud living soil with Cannaseur seed blend (Amazon find) which includes 13 different types of seeds for cover crops. Straw is being used as a top dressing/mulch. I’m growing under two Spectrum King 602GH LED lights. I have a 55gal reservoir with 2 adjustable drip emitters in each pot. I would not consider my living soil as perfect for planting at this point but I was eager to get started. I planted my seeds before fully establishing my cover crops. I have added red wigglers and nematodes. I breakdown some of this process in the video.

Through the 3rd week of stretch now and the plants are doing great. Cottonballs everywhere and the scrog is relatively even with minimal tie backs in only weeks 1&2. Chopped out and lollipopped a bunch of foliage and we’ll prune various fan leaves around the canopy to expose some of the smaller side branch heads. What would a grow be without at least one issue. I hate doing this dtw crap manually - I forgot I left the pump on and accidentally ran like 30L of solution. Flooded out the tent and part of the basement at the same time and thought I had drowned out the plants…. They took it just fine and were looking great by the next morning so minus the cleanup it wasn’t really a bad thing I guess. We’re generally on autopilot while we wait for the buds to fatten and finish. So far - we’re still on track and well on the way to mid-flower phase👌.

Drunken Bitch slap is coming along good. She is just about done bulking under the Hortibloom Solux 350. I will likely switch her to ph water soon for a flush, and fade. Nice sticky frosty colas she has as well. There is not much else to report. Our Zamnesia Super Boof is a brand new strain, Zamnesia brought it out before anyone else in Europe and now it's the others who are chasing it. I'll show you that the Zamensia one is the best of all, of course also the American ones. Remember that we are growing a plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same variety. In this diary we find it worked with the Main lining: we did topping on the third internode, we worked the very small brunches in growth trying to keep them low up to the third internode and then topped again. We are topping on the laterals but some have been eliminated, the plant is at a low internode distance and they are not the most suitable in my opinion for this technique but I do them anyway, it's really fun and the result is also very pleasing to the eye. A few more days and it will start flowering. Slow down the use of nitrogen during this technique, you may not need everything that is recommended by the manufacturers. So if the leaves become too dark or, worse, the tips of the leaves arch downwards and the leaf becomes "crunchy", it is time to lighten or stop the basic fertilizer. Comparison is the salt of experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to compare. We have started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Week 8 June 28 plants are still recovering from transplanting fed today a bit of calmag

In Week 6 I’m continuing to see a lot of growth so I decided to add a pk boost to see how it would work. Started off really low at 1ml/gal and now I’m at 2.5ml and no sign of burning and seeing a lot of praying. Going to continue slowly raising until about 5ml or ~900ppm. Other than just watering every other day and light defoliation of the lower third and sites that aren’t getting light, this week has been smooth. White hairs are really starting to show up. I’m really hoping these girls bulk up. Until next week happy growing!

3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days.
