🌿 Nectar Drip – Week 5 Report Early Vegetative Development (12/12 from Seed) Zamnesia Seeds x TICAL – Pack #268 Note on timing: This is labeled as Week 5 in GrowDiaries / Grow Iris, even though in real growth rhythm we are closer to Week 3 of true vegetative development. This offset comes from starting the diary early and using photo-heavy germination documentation. We’ll continue to clarify this each week for transparency and consistency. ⸻ 🌱 Growth Overview – Training Reveals Character This week confirmed something important: training doesn’t slow a plant — it reveals it. Last week, we began Low Stress Training (LST) on one selected plant using clamps to gently guide the main stem close to horizontal. At the time, she was the smallest plant of the Nectar Drip group. This week, her response has been nothing short of beautiful. Despite being smaller, she reacted with: • accelerated side branching • clear apical redistribution • strong node activation • healthy, vibrant green growth She is opening up, spreading out, and showing structure — not by force, but by invitation. ⸻ ✂️ Training Focus – Low Stress, High Precision The trained plant is now the focus of this week’s report, because she’s telling us a story worth listening to. What’s being done: • Main stem gently bent and held near-parallel to the soil • Leaves progressively opened and repositioned • Lower growth sites intentionally exposed to light • No snapping, no crushing, no stress points This is classic Low Stress Training (LST) — the goal is not control, but redirection. What we’re seeing: • Lower branches actively pushing upward • Tighter internodal spacing • A wider, flatter structure • Balanced energy distribution She’s currently entering her fourth node, and already the lower growth is responding like it knows it’s been invited to participate. You can clearly see this in the macro photos — the symmetry, the confidence, the way each branch is waking up. ⸻ 📸 Macro Session – When the Plant Earns the Spotlight This week, the trained plant earned her moment. She was taken into the studio for a dedicated macro session — and she deserved it. The photos reveal: • clean, healthy tissue • vibrant green coloration • active growth points • no signs of stress or hesitation Up close, it becomes obvious: this plant isn’t struggling — she’s thinking. ⸻ 🌿 The Other Plants – Natural Expression The remaining Nectar Drip plants are not being trained as intensively. For them: • leaves are gently tucked • some bending is done to guide light penetration • no structural manipulation beyond basic canopy management They are: • taller • more vertical • opening naturally • branching in their own rhythm They look fantastic — healthy, lush, and confident — but their expression is clearly different from the trained plant. Same genetics, same room, same feed… different guidance. This contrast is exactly why this approach is valuable. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Room Conditions (Unchanged) Conditions remain consistent with last week: • Relative Humidity: ~65% • Day Temperature: ~26 °C • Night Temperature: ~18 °C • CO₂: ~666 ppm • Lamp Distance: ~1.70 m • Substrate Temperature: ~22 °C • Solution Temperature: ~22 °C Airflow continues to increase slightly, encouraging movement and stem strength without stress. ⸻ 💡 Light – Growing Into Intensity PPFD continues its gradual rise: • Previously: ~500 PPFD • Current range: 500 → 600 PPFD, depending on plant height Once again, the plants are growing toward the light, not being forced into it. This progressive increase matches structure and development perfectly. ⸻ Nutrition – Stay the Course Nutrition remains unchanged, because the plants are clearly happy. • Terra Grow • Power Roots • Pure Zym • Sugar Royal • Vita Race (foliar) Leaf color, posture, and response all confirm that stability is working. This is a deliberate mix of mineral precision and biological support, based on experience and personal philosophy. As always: everything shared here reflects my own experience, opinions, lessons, and mistakes, offered openly to the community. ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect / What Not to Expect Expect: • continued lateral development on the trained plant • more defined structure • increased canopy complexity • visible divergence between trained vs untrained plants Do Not Expect: • instant size catch-up • explosive vertical growth • stress reactions The trained plant may not become the tallest — but she may become the most interesting. ⸻ 🤝 Gratitude Much love and respect to: • Zamnesia Seeds • TICAL (artist and collaborator) • Plagron • Future of Grow And thank you to everyone following this journey — supporters, critics, silent readers, and longtime friends. ⸻ 🌟 Week 5 Summary • Training is working • Genetics are solid • Differences are emerging • Structure is forming • The story is getting richer She was the smallest. She’s responding the strongest. And she’s just getting started. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. So these two are growing completely opposite of each other. I feed them the same and one is losing fan leaves while the other is thriving. The one that is thriving I actually topped so we will see if it stunt the growth by any chance

Dec. 4 - Week 9 begins. Dec. 6 - I removed some dead and dying leaves. Dec. 7 - Photo update. Dec. 10 - Timelapse uploaded. This poor girl, the sometimes infrequent waterings may yet be her demise. In the video after the plant droops the leaves come back much more yellow since they're being sacrificed for the greater good. I've been aware that plants do this for many years, but I think it's still pretty neat to watch happen over just a few seconds.

Welcome everyone Week n°4 ended for these three phenos of SORBET#4 🌿🌿🌿🍧 Like you have probably see in the video, a few days ago i have made a one topping, on the central stem, for increase the power of the lower branches exposing them to a better lights conditions.. I have also cut two or three leafs, not too much for now, just for increase the airflow and also again for a higher lights exposure of the lowers parts✂️ 🍃 About the lights 💡 Doing that, i have increase the potency of my two Mars-Hydro SP3000, from 25% to 50% ⬆️ The two led panel are connected with a cable and i have only to adjuste the dimmer of one of them for change the intensity of each one, in just one move.. Pretty useful 💯 In the middle of the week i have switch from 18/6 on/off to 16/8 on/off.. Always tryed to mimic the natural cycle of the sun light, works good to me 👌 Anyway.. About nutrients 👇 In this week i have giving their always organic/veganic nutrients.. A little bit of silicium (Bionova) / Activator (Biomagno) / Crescita (Biomagno) / Activera (Biobizz) / Grow vegan (Bionova) / The Missing Link (Bionova) / X-Cell (Bionova) and a little bit of P-K 3-5 (Bionova) {This last one i have used in a foliar spray solution} Like i usually do, a little bit of everything at any watering 💧 And that's all.. Another week in vegetation and then we can thinking abot flowering 🌻 See you next.. Thank you for stopping by and reading 😎👍 FC ✌️ 🇮🇹

**Encontrarás la traducción a español al final de la descripción** If you like this week, please hit a like, it costs you nothing! 👊. Thanks in advance 😉! From/Desde: 19/08/19 || To/Hasta: 25/08/19 From day/Desde día: 28 || To day/Hasta día: 34 -----IMAGES & VIDEOS----- P5 - I'm loving this photo, is the first complete cool photo of the AK i've taken. With the structure, the fixing rods with the same length as the diameter of the AirPot, and those beauty rubbered green cables 😍. P8 - I'm feeling that those branches looks too weak, and slim for what's coming. From next week i will use Rinho Skin to see if it can help them to get fat in upcoming weeks and before flora time. I'm also minding to create some branch supports with the 3d printer that will be placed on the LST structure, I need to twist my mind a bit with it. -----WEEK SUMMARY----- Another super heat week. While at home i'm at 34~36º in the street things are worse :(. Also humidity fluctuate from 50~65º. At last I removed those ugly & dangerous cables from the branches and used a rubber covered one. For now i only need to fix her in 4 points, 1 per each main branch, as you can see, at about 13 cm of the main branch. Later i will fix her with another 2 points per branch, one in the border of the pot from inside, and the last one also in the pot's border but outside. This week i removed the first horizontal internode on each main branch, and also removed the branch that grows vertically down from the second internode leaving in place the one that grows totally up. At the end of the week i will fix the SCROG mesh, but it's not going to be permanent until later, or maybe not at all due to dark photography, as if i place the mesh i will not be able to move the plant (i need to think about it). For now, I just need it 3 or 4 days to test it as i never placed this 60x60 mesh before, and also i had to cut the central rods for the mesh. About Alice K. she's growing beauty and healthy, some week ago i found a little white spider that i killed, @time (week 7) I didn't noticed any insect signs more. Also remark that she's standing well those temperatures and some days of very low humidity some hours 35% inside the tent. And also the equitative distribution she's developing. As i said on previous week, i will kill those clones at mid week as i'm going to plant 4 more seeds in a week, and all is going to be too much work 😞to compatibilize it well with my job. -----WATERING CALENDAR----- 23/08/19 (Day 32) - 3,000 ml with all week nutrients @ 1.1 E.C. PH5.8

Candy Rain Auto 🌱🍬🌧️ Week 1 Vegetation | After the Rain Comes Growth Hello GrowDiaries family! 👋🌱 Welcome back to the Candy Rain Auto diary. Last week’s update told the story of a second chance. After losing the first seedling during the earliest stages, this genetic was given another opportunity, and thankfully that decision is already proving worthwhile. Sometimes growing teaches us through success. Sometimes it teaches us through mistakes. And sometimes the most rewarding plants are the ones that make us try again. This week marks the beginning of that new chapter. ⸻ From Germination to Establishment Following successful germination and direct planting into Plagron Lightmix, Candy Rain Auto spent the week focusing on what every young plant should be doing: Building roots. Although most of the action happens beneath the soil surface, the photographs clearly show steady progress above ground as well. Each day brought a little more growth. A little more leaf development. A little more confidence. By the end of the week, the seedling had established itself successfully and was beginning the transition from simple survival into active vegetative growth. For a plant that started this journey on a second attempt, that’s exactly what we hoped to see. ⸻ Transplanting Into Her Final Home Like several of the other plants in this project, Candy Rain Auto was transplanted directly into her final container early in life. The objective is simple. Rather than forcing multiple transplant events throughout the grow, the plant can establish its root system immediately within the volume of substrate it will use for the remainder of its life. This minimizes stress and allows energy to remain focused on development rather than recovery. At this stage, what we see above the soil is only part of the story. The real work is happening underneath. ⸻ The Hidden World Beneath the Soil One of the most important additions during transplant was the application of mycorrhizal fungi. Many growers hear the term “mycorrhiza” but may not fully understand what it does. The relationship is actually one of nature’s most fascinating partnerships. Mycorrhizal fungi form a symbiotic connection with plant roots. As the fungi colonize the root zone, they extend microscopic networks far beyond the reach of the roots themselves. Think of it as adding thousands of tiny extensions to the plant’s underground infrastructure. These fungal networks help improve access to: * Water * Phosphorus * Micronutrients * Trace elements * Soil biology interactions In exchange, the plant provides carbohydrates produced through photosynthesis. Both organisms benefit. It’s one of nature’s oldest and most successful partnerships. For young plants, establishing this relationship early can help create a stronger foundation for future development. While we cannot directly see those fungal networks working underground, the goal is to create a healthy living rhizosphere that supports the plant throughout its entire life cycle. ⸻ Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week: 🌡️ Day temperature: 27°C 🌙 Night temperature: 25°C 💧 Relative humidity: 55% ⚡ Light schedule: 12/12 from seed 🌱 Plagron nutrient program 💡 Future Of Grow Black Series LED lighting 💨 Gentle airflow and stable environmental control Consistency remains one of the most important factors during early development. Young plants respond exceptionally well when conditions remain predictable and stress-free. ⸻ Early Development Despite being younger than some of her sisters due to the restart, Candy Rain Auto spent the week making steady progress. Leaf color remained healthy. Stem development remained strong. Growth stayed compact and balanced. Each new photograph shows a little more confidence as the plant begins to settle into her environment. The first true leaves are developing nicely, and the newest growth emerging from the center indicates that root establishment is progressing exactly as intended. At this stage, patience is often rewarded. Healthy roots today become vigorous growth tomorrow. ⸻ A Reminder About Second Chances One of the things I enjoy most about documenting grows honestly is showing that mistakes happen. The first Candy Rain Auto never made it. That is simply part of cultivation. But instead of ending the story there, we adjusted the approach, learned from the experience, and tried again. This plant now stands as a reminder that one unsuccessful attempt doesn’t define the outcome. Sometimes success arrives on the second try. ⸻ First Impressions So far, Candy Rain Auto is doing exactly what a healthy young plant should be doing. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Steady growth. Successful root establishment. And a promising partnership already developing beneath the soil through the mycorrhizal network. Most importantly, she’s proving that the second attempt was absolutely worth it. ⸻ Looking Ahead The foundation has now been established. Over the coming weeks we’ll continue documenting her development under the 12/12-from-seed project while monitoring structure, vigor, growth rate, and any unique characteristics she chooses to reveal. For now, the focus remains simple: Build roots. Build strength. Build momentum. Because after every storm comes growth. And after every rain, sooner or later, the sun returns. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along on another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower’s Love everyone. 🌱💚🍬🌧️
