My plant now smells even more intense every day. I am very happy to use an activated carbon filter, so you smell absolutely nothing outside the tent. I have now started to hang a camera in the tent and am experimenting with different durations for a timelapse recording. Currently I take a picture every 30 minutes, but will go up to one every hour.

Alrighty guys, Day 35ish check the ladies out! Dam! They starting to pack on weight! The main stem is thick as my pinky finger but they are currently short plants. Hoping they will stretch as they develop through the flower phase. Also added fabric pot risers to promote airflow under the pots to help even out the pot drying patterns. Note: I have now learned that my original formula used for the pre soil mix with organic amendments was a bit too hot. I do see dark green leaves with clawing only on one plant. I'm going to dial back the premix to 2-3tbs/gal of media @50/50 mix of the 284 and 444, rather than 4tbs. I may even push for 2tbs and add regular light feeding of calmag for the next grow to help with the heavy coco coir mix soil from promix hgcc line. Lesson learnt, so let's keep pushing hard to get these ladies finished! Also I picked up a bottle of beneficial enzymes to help with root rot for the one droopy plants, however I'm going to apply it to all my plants just for the benefits of a strong root system into flowering. Day 43: Pulled timelapse. Looks like we will need to water in a day or two. Wish I had more light. Not sure how to report height since I am tying it down. Seeing some more brown tips. Thinking nutrient burn so my next watering will be without nutes. Day 44: Nothing to report Day 45: Added 1 gallon of pH 6.0 water. Day 46, 47: Nothing to report Day 48: Added another tent stake to work on LST but the plant may be stronger than the tent stakes. She's also getting thristy. Day 49: Nothing to report

04/26/2026 Readings before water swap. pH: 5.6 EC: 1450 cm TDS: 1050 ppm Temp: 71.3° So I'm going to start flushing today. She has a whole lotta nutrients left in those leaves and buds. So what I'm doing now is fill and drain. In my case pump and pump. I mix my nutes in a 5 gallon bucket. Then use another bucket to drain the DWC reservoir. Do it twice and then the last time with flawless finish. Again! Something happened to my yesterday entry. 04/28/2026 Readings: pH: 6.58 EC: 499 cm TDS: 351 ppm Temp: 66.7° Will be pHed today. It's too high. Anyway, she looks really odd with all of her branches just falling down. All around and the main top and some select branches are left standing up. She has issues everywhere from clawing to tacoing spots and burned tips or whatever else is wrong. So she's getting her week of flushing. I haven't noticed anything yet. But maybe it's because theight is too close to the top. Speaking of, does just the top getting too much light stress the whole plant out? Or is it just the top? I honestly hope my plant isn't waterlogged. I wonder what causes that. Because when I hung the plant up, the branch I was going to use legit sqweeshed on me. Like it was soaking wet. And when I take leaves off, the break pours out water. Never seen that before. Just a new thing. The environment looks really good Now it's working. 04/30/2026 Readings: pH: 6.7 EC: 521 cm TDS: 371 ppm Temp: 66.2° 05/01/2026 Well, I say she's done. I have her in the dark for the next couple of days, then I'll harvest. That'll give me enough time for the bucket to empty out and by the time it's ready, the bucket should be nearly dry. Actually, I wonder if that'll happen. I topped her off yesterday, so she should be fine for the next 3 days. I'm gonna check the water one last time before she's in the dark for 3 days. I dunno. I think she's ready now. I'll also get a trichome video to make sure. No top off just this one last trichome video and harvest will be in 3 days. Or sooner. I took a trichome video this morning. It's not very good. But you can see the abundance of cloudy and in some spots, amber. Other than that, I might pop off a few leaves today before her official dark period starts. It was supposed to be last night, but I forgot to set it. So it's off this morning, but I have some things I still need to do. Like snip off as many fan leaves as possible. No sugar leaves. And if there's a ton of trichomes on the offending leaf, I shall leave it. It's really dry out now, so I'll need to keep a lot of the leaves in tact so it doesn't dry out too quickly. Readings: pH: 6.16 EC: 605 cm TDS: 431 Temp: 69.6 I'm curious as to why both the EC and TDS have higher readings than yesterday. There's absolutely no nutrients, or shouldn't be in that bucket as I've added 2 flushes of Flawless Finish. And 1 top off of plain water. She needs about a half gallon now, but I'll let her take her own water down. I'm not sure how quickly it will be gone. She drinks about a half gallon a day. I think there's around 3.5 gallons left. Should be plenty of water left at harvest and not too much. I still haven't seen a single bit of color. I had to have done something wrong. Back to the EC and TDS. Both spiked about 100 points. That might be my pH pen. I doubt it though. Something environmental or most likely not a colorful one. Which I don't get. It started flushing 3 days ago. Shouldn't I be seeing something colorful by now? All I'm seeing is a very earthy plant. Well, more plant like smell. As for the water situation. I think I might have to pull the water out and pH it back to 5.8 but I'm inclined not to do such a useless task. Of course if it goes over too much, I'll have to step in and add more Flawless Finish. Because I don't think she is eating at all. Or there's a nutrient lockout. Again, that should t matter anymore. Another thing. I found more clawing leaves that were super dark. But how?! There's no nitrogen in this plant. No idea how it's showing signs of toxicity? I don't get it. Like at all. I don't understand why the EC and TDS are climbing when they should be like going down.

Pretty cool....i have two males of each cultivar to choose from as well as a female from each. The 3 females will get there own diaries. Males- -Koffee F8 #2 is just dumping pollen like crazy. Way more then #3 and has a fatter "Flower" structure #3 has thinner "Flower" structure but is showing more purple then the #2. I have plates colleting the pollen the best i can. Ive never grown a male plant past 3 weeks. It absolutely stinks of pineapples in here! They’re looking fabulous! Dripping with trichomes and thickening up day after day! I can’t wait until they’re finished! I think they’re going to taste amazing!

Not much to say about this one. Continuing lst, plant is looking alright. Not great not bad. Biobizz grow on the go now. Did a little defoliation a few days ago to allow more light to hit the lower parts.

Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend and staying safe. Another great week for the ladies, as they are now about 3 weeks into flower, and the stretch has just finished. I am still feeding them silica, cal mag, and flower nutrients maxi bloom by GHE. I did start to add a PK booster this week pushing the EC up to 1.4. I also will be switched the light from V1 to the F1 Spectrum at the beginning of this week, and will be integrating the UV/IR bar into the light cycle later this week. I will run the UV/IR bar for approximately 30 minutes prior to lights off to get started. The tallest plants are the Sundae Driver and the Durban Nights at 42" and the Red Hot Cookies is the shortest plant at 38" however they all look happy and healthy and capable of easily giving up a half pound each. The 5X5 is really starting to fill up nicely, I am running two dehumidifiers outside of the tent and I am able to maintain around 50% RH in the tent during lights on, and around 55% RH with lights off. We did get an unexpected heat wave this weekend and it has been a struggle keeping the heat and humidity down but the flowers are just starting so no need to worry about mold or anything like that yet. As soon as this heat wave is over the temps should be good to go the rest of the way this is by far the best time of year to be flowering plants in my region. I did defoliate twice this week and I may do one or two more rounds before just letting them do their thing. Not much to do from here on out except make sure the reservoir is full and the PH is in the proper range. Week 4 flower : everything’s looking nice still got the lights about 7-9” from top of canopy without any issues . The humidity has gone up to 50% in day and I can’t really get it any lower I’ve already got a dehumidifier so don’t want to get another one . I would like to lower to 40-45% and lower for last 2 weeks but can’t see that happening . I’ve started the pk from end of week 4 (day 28 )at 1ml per litre this took my ec to 2.2 I will see how it goes and maybe up it to 1.2-1.5 and I’m going to use the pk for 7-14 days then I will start the flush I also lowered the silicone to 0.5ml per litre 3x blue cheese plants are on the left but has spread over and 1x sunset sherbet on the right

As of day 14, the Blackberry Kush is still exhibiting it's abnormal leaf growth. I've only ever seen this on another genetically purple strain, so I am curious if there is a connection. If anyone has seen similar issues in their own plants let me know! It's growth hasn't been too bad, and I am sure it's going to continue to take off over the next week! I usually top my plants between day 14 and 21, so i am hoping it is growing vigorously enough to prevent any stunting. I haven't seen any adverse effects from temporarily switching to my plentiful dry cal-mag, so I am happy about that so far! I am still adding a similar EC worth of Cal mag (.5) so it's good to have dialed in a rough equivalent. I hope everyone is staying safe, and happy growing! 👍🌱 Day 15: the leaf growth continues to be very screwy, and even if it's at least partially a genetic issue I continue to triple check all my practices and parameters. The PH drifts up mildly in my reservoirs between cleaning/remixing of nutrients, but it is going from roughly a 5.8 up to a 6.2 (at worst) with no change in the EC/PPM. Between the lack of EC drift and lack of smell, I don't think there are any major bacterial issues. The outflow PH is also acceptable (5.8) and the outflow EC is around .2-.3 above inflow, which is also acceptable. I dug into the coco a little bit, and the medium is not oversaturated with water (it is always a bit "fluffy" with good drainage and never compacted) and the roots are white and healthy. With the healthy vigorous growth of the other Blackberry in the same conditions, it brings me back to this being at least partially a genetic issue. I looked through grow questions of other diaries for similar leaf issues, and it seemed that most were either blueberry or blackberry strains from a range of breeders. This could be purely a coincidence, but it does make me wonder. The grows with similar issues seemed to otherwise have no commonalities in how they were grown. I am going to keep trying my best with this plant regardless, so I hope it pulls through alright! Day 17: being very careful with my PH and keeping it a bit lower, to rule it out as a possible cause of the twisted leaves and less vigorous growth. I am keeping it between 5.5 and 6 for the time being to make sure there is no lock out of micro elements like boron. As per the comments, I am being more accurate be using a pH pen as opposed to drops which I may have misjudges. I topped the plant, which is definitely a risk! But I am hoping for some healthier leaves to come in, and the plant hasn't stunted so far! It has grown the number of nodes it should have for its age, it just not as filled in and lush as I would like it to be. Day 19: I have been monitoring PH especially carefully, taking a few measurements per day and keeping it between 5.6 and 5.8 (a little on the low side). The runoff is consistently under 6 as well. EC and other conditions have stayed where they should be as well. I reduced any PH drift by running the air pump for the res 24/7, instead of just for mixing and before fertigations to rule that out. But I haven't seen any overall improvements for the leaves so I am reverting back to my theory of a genetic issue with this particular plant. It's growing larger and it's stems are thickening, so I'm just going to keep it growing as well as I possibly can and see what it yields!
