A good week for ICC photo. I topped her and started bending branches for some horizontal development. Once she’s covering the entire pot with some budsites and tops I will let her start stacking nodes vertically. I am using “garden hooks” I’ve made with metal food skewers and will use those to bend and guide branches outwards. Feed is the same really and I am really digging it so far, Gaia green and coco loco for a supersoil type grow in regards to waterings and feeds. No ph checking, no dechlorinating water, just tapwater and a few add ins like fishshit and recharge, a seaweed/kelp foliar, and worm castings/topdresses. Trying this routine out and hope to be able to reamend the pot and drop again. This plant is in midweek5 of veg and has about 6-8 weeks to go before I can flip her to flower.

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

Looking good so far, got a little bit of light burn at beginning of week but not to bad. Plants are really starting to shoot up now that the roots have hit the water. Topped all 4 at beginning of week 3 for LST prep. AC unit in tent is keeping it around 21 Celsius and water is keeping between 18-20 Celsius naturally so far. When the lights go up from 600w to 1000w though my tent will hit 25+ Celsius so I am currently testing a new water cooled thermoelectric peltier reservoir water cooler I built and I will be installing soon. So far testing it I can bring a 5gal bucket of water from 25 Celsius to 10 Celsius in about 6 hrs. So we will see what it can do with about 20gal of water in my set up once my lights get turned up. I will be posting pics/video once I get it all figured out. So far it’s way cheaper then a commercial water chiller and seems to work good.

Weekly update on these sweet smelling ladies. The cherry and soda terp i like to call it is wild. I decided to try and do a little test wash to see if this one would make good FreshFrozen live Rosin but unfortunately the results weren't what I was hoping for. So they'll be used for flower and drysift. Definitely getting close as I'll start pulling some out this week thst are ready to be harvested. All in all Happy Growing

The crazy stretchy yellow plant turned out to be a male and was removed from the tent. The others filled in the space quickly and have finished their stretch. Overall it's not looking too bad at this point. Continued feeding with a tomato fertilizer I had laying around. Added some epsom salts to the water.

Stretch phase is over😁 and the bunch are happy. I gave em a serious defol and lollipop on day 11 of flower. Next week i'm gonna introduce em to Canna Terra Flores🌺 Stay elevated growmies👍

GrowDiary Verslag: The Bird × Red Wine – Feminized F1 Pheno-Hunt (Week 6 Bloei) Kweker: Xpie77 Datum: 11 januari 2026 Strain: The Bird (Sensi Seeds) × Red Wine (Seeds Genetics) – zelfgemaakte feminized F1-zaadjes Aantal planten: 16 stuks Huidige fase: Week 6 bloei Foto-update (Week 6) Hier een close-up van één van de buds in week 6 – kijk die insane trichome-laag! De hele top is bedekt met een dikke laag frost, alles glinstert onder het licht. Nog steeds voornamelijk groen, maar de pistillen worden dikker en donkerder, en er zit al een lichte paarse gloed in de calyxen bij sommige pheno’s. De echte paarse/blackout kleuren laten nog even op zich wachten, maar de resin-productie is nu al next level. De bud ziet er super gezond en harsachtig uit – precies wat je wilt zien in week 6 van een indica-dominante kruising zoals deze. Stand van zaken in Week 6 De 16 planten zijn in volle ontwikkeling en de bloei versnelt echt: Bud-ontwikkeling: Buds zwellen flink op, calyxen worden groter en dikker. De toppen beginnen compact te worden. Trichome-productie: Mega frost overal! Sugar leaves en buds zitten onder de hars – veel pheno’s lijken nu al harvest-ready qua trichomes (maar nog niet qua kleur/rijpheid). Kleur: Nog grotendeels groen, met lichte paarse hints bij een paar planten. Ik hou de nachttemperatuur laag om de anthocyaninen te boosten – verwacht meer paars in week 7-8. Aroma: Wordt steeds intenser in de tent: zoete druiven/bessen (Red Wine) met een gassy/funky punch (The Bird). Ruikt nu al als een premium strain. Gezondheid: Topconditie. Bladeren donkergroen, geen tekorten, goede stretch voorbij, alles gelijkmatig. Wat te verwachten de komende weken Nog 2-4 weken bloei (afhankelijk per pheno: 8-10 weken totaal). Buds harden verder op en trichomes gaan van helder → milky → amber (tijd om te checken met loep!). Hopelijk meer kleurverkleuring bij de Red Wine-dominante pheno’s. Beginnen met lichte flush richting het einde. Conclusie Week 6 is waar het echt spannend wordt – de frost is insane en de potentie schreeuwt eruit. Deze The Bird × Red Wine F1’s ontwikkelen zich prachtig, en met zoveel variatie in de 16 planten ga ik zeker een paar absolute killers vinden. Nog geen paars spektakel, maar de resin-laag maakt het al de moeite waard! After I repotted the plants, they grew really well and healthily for 12 days. Now they are showing iron deficiency again... I already had the problem before repotting. The pH value of the earth has fallen again to 4.8 to 5.7. This time I used biodegradable braids to germinate. I believe that this is the reason for the PH fluctuations in the soil. Every time I water I measure the PH and adjust it to 6 - 6.5. Nevertheless, the PH value drops back to 4 to 5. I'm trying to correct the problem. I also work with neemoil because I can't get rid of the trips

Growth slowed a bit after toping and ML technique started. Everything is being trained outward. Waiting on the 4 mains to develop enough nodes before I make more cuts. Watering still at 28oz (6.0~6.5pH) distilled water.

Two Ethos Mandarin Bubba grown from seed, ended up being completely different phenos. One is dark purple almost red and other was lime green.

Harvest Die erste Hulkberry Auto hängt zum Trocknen 😌 Sie wächst wirklich wunderschön und ich bin gespannt, wie weit sie noch wird. Der zweite Phänotyp braucht noch etwas Zeit, um fertig zu werden, und dann werde ich ein Update mit dem Erntebericht posten 😀 Update 3 Wochen später: Hulkberry Auto Pheno 2 hängt jetzt auch zum Trocknen, bin gespannt, wie sie von der Wirkung wird. Sie hätte vllt noch 1-2 Wochen gebraucht aber egal, fand sie jetzt auch schon Klasse und habe dann heute Morgen den Cut gemacht. Also von dem was dran hängt bin ich wirklich überrascht, wie viel das am Ende wurde. Das wird wohl nur Strawberry Cheesecake Auto Barneys Farm toppen aus dem Durchlauf vom Gesamtergebnis der einzelnen Pflanzen im 6,7L Topf 😊 🦊
