The colas keep filling out and getting longer and smell amazing. It's been warmer and more humid outside so RH in the tent has gone up. I added a mini air purifier I wasn't using (no ozone) as an extra precaution against mildew. I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday and realized that the air purifier has a light on it so I got up and turned it off. I was worried that I'd messed with the dark cycle so I left them in darkness for an extra 2.5 hours. My cool tube fan fell off the next day, onto my plants. They look undamaged. I taped it up again and set up a safety wire like the filter and fan have. I need a better solution for next cycle. The buds are beautiful and having an even canopy is great. It's hard not thinking about the end result. The buds still look small compared to the big colas of a traditional grow shape but there's still a couple weeks left. There is some bud formation under the canopy but it's a little light. The tops of the colas are fat but short on the 7 gallon plants and taller and thinner on the 5 gallon plants. I did leave a couple offshoots on that developed in late veg/early flower. By the time I caught them, I felt they were too mature to chop and I thought they helped fill out certain areas. But those ones have fewer bud sites and tend to be just a cola on a branch that shoots straight up which is still good. I do wonder if less crowding would have given me bigger buds, but I think it has more to do with pot size. This is week 7 of flower. I switched to half strength nutes and started adding fancy molasses (18ml/gallon). I broke my pH tester and didn't replace my SCROG net until after I finally watered the next day so the canopy changed a bit. I took the opportunity to rearrange the plants a bit. Crystal formation increased a crazy amount the day after I started adding molasses. I think I'll keep adding molasses even during flush. The CBD Blue Shark has this really beautiful white glow. The pistils are very strong and white and the trichromes reflect back this silver light. The leaves are a nice semi-glossy dark green which gives great contrast. It's just a beautiful plant. The Wedding Cake has a lot more colour with lots of red hairs and some yellow tones in the pistils. The fan leaves are more prone to yellowing and death than the leaves on the CBD BS. The buds seem more structurally dense and are really working on these pyramid shapes that look like delicious orange and green snacks. The buds on the CBD Blue Shark are more symmetrical and kind of otherworldly like some kind of sea creature.

OK hi growmies, I'm in to final flush week with purple lemonade. She looks and smells amazing so 7days until we cut her down :() Also wedding cheesecake coming along beautifully. Her aroma is amazing and creamy with the hint of cheese and I j8st cannot wait... i have a couple more weeks for her and Grape gushers... It's a nice change of pace to have these warmer temperatures, even if it's not quite spring yet. Low 40s during the day is a lot more comfortable than what we've been dealing with lately. Hopefully, this is a sign that spring's around the corner. My Skunk Apple plant sounds like it's finally getting on track. After a rough start, it's good to hear things are looking decent. Hopefully, it'll keep looking better and better.

The first thing I did was disinfect everything and put it in the shower. Then I calmly rewired the tent and filled the pots. 20% clay balls at the bottom as drainage. On top 50% Biobizz All- and 50% Biobizz Lightmix. I mixed the whole thing well beforehand. 3 seeds came out great, one is currently fighting through and I don't think anything will happen to the last. I planted them all today. Let's see if the last one can still make it.

This was an easy cycle with some average problems, dealt with the gnats by topping the soil. anyway it was a plant that was easy to grow, a very pleasant non weedy smell around. and was ready within 70 days, i left it a couple of days more till first amber trichomes The most strains taste far better after curing, with this one i don't agree with that rule. This strain actually tastes better when it's fresh. The curing brings back more of the kush, and makes the smoke stronger, but the taste of fresh dried sugar kush is close to undescribeable.

Pure Ice cream is doing great. She had a solution change 4 days ago. She is bulking and looking strong. She has a neat color mutation going on as well. Hello Diary, White Widow has completed its last week, the journey has come to an end. Two days after the photo shoot, I harvested White Widow along with her roommates. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast, although it has somehow become the standard on my small farm. But I am still fascinated by how quickly the plant goes through its cycle when it has the most ideal conditions. I don't necessarily mean myself, I try to give the plants the best I can and know how. As you can see in the photos, the result is impressive, White Widow turned out to be a real beauty. This phenotype painted White Widow in purple. The flowers are hard and dense, the branches bend under their weight. One branch even broke when I was setting it up for the photo shoot. That purple color gives it a special look. Some of the leaves have taken on autumn colors, which is also one of the signs that it has matured. This week I continued to observe the samples under the microscope, waiting for the trichomes to turn milky. On the day of the photo shoot, which was day 63, most of the trichomes were milky, some even brown. The smell is very intense, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. I barely wash my fingers after examining the plants. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After the photo shoot, she was in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil so that the drying would be more efficient. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying easier and have less work to trim the dried flowers. But also to prevent the formation of potential mold. After cutting, I left her upside down in the grow box to dry. Now I'm waiting for the flowers to dry well and to see how much White Widow has really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so they would be fresh for the photos. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Purple Lemonade began its journey. Photos. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. White Widow has been harvested. Still motoring along in the vertical growth department with about 7" last week, the big girl has begun to flower quite clearly, v2 not so much, but showing clear signs of starting to get serious flowering. I noticed flowering get going a couple days ago with the big girl. The food I gave the big girl was hybrid feeding powder, while I gave v2 "grow" powder for probably the last time. I'm also using the Green House Feed on my White Widow (she's a monster), and I even gave a little to my Gorilla Glue because I didn't like how she was looking with my usual nutrient setup. I'm becoming a fan of the powder stuff as opposed to the multi-part liquid system I've been using for the last couple years for the simplicity of it if nothing else. I'll have to do some math to make sure I have enough of the hybrid powder to last thru the summer to cover at least 3 plants before I let the GG in on the action. The temps have been quite warm the last couple days.... about 90. The only thing predictable is that the forecast will have the temp 5-10 degrees on the low side. There has been almost no fog to speak of so plenty of direct sunshine to gobble up. I'm going to have to up the amount of fluid I've been giving to v2 lately. I was generally going 1.5 gallons/day on the big girl and 1.0 gallons/day on v2... but she's telling me consistently she wants more water - so she'll get the same as the big girl for the next week and we'll see how she swims.
