This week the Jack Herer has exploded. The branches have become dense, swollen buds with lots of pistils that are turning orange. The smell has become much more intense and citrusy, however, I think it is further along that it should be. So far this seedling is growing nicely. I hope it continues like this

420Fastbuds Gelato Auto Week 2 What up grow fam weekly update on these three. This week has been fun seeing the first leafs getting bigger. I started adding some GH Calimagic to my feed. I'm feeding 500ml of PH'd well water and .25 tsp/gal of some calmag about every other day. Started also my preventive maintenance of sparying PureCrop1 every Monday as the plants seem to respond well and keeps the pest away. All in all Happy Growing

This week I did a single topping at the 5th node. Along with this I applied low stress training and tucking to expose the new growth.

Day 15: Watermelon Zkittlez is looking strong. A little discolored but it is early growth and should work itself out. Kind of resembles watermelon rind to me which is quite the coincidence I think. First big feed: 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 2ml CALiMAgic, 1ml RapidStart, 1ml Floralicious Plus and 2.5ml Armor Si. RO water PH 6.0 Temp: 75º RH: 63% PPFD: 450 VPD: .53 kPa Day 16: She's looking about the same with some new leaf growth. I can't tell if she just has funky pigment in her leaves or if there is a deficiency going on. Her leaves look just like watermelon rind! Kind of weird but also maybe genetics. Will leave for now with no adjustments to nutes and see if new growth changes. No water no feed. Temp: 76º RH: 61% PPFD: 475 AVG VPD: .46 kPa Day 17: Happy, healthy, let grow! Applied first LST bend this morning. Should take nicely. Will feed tomorrow. Temp 77º RH: 55 % PPFD: 500 AVG VPD: .6kPa Day 18: Watermelon Zkittlez looks really funky. Something is going on with her but I'm not sure what exactly. There is clear pigmentation issues but again, why? Same nutes as all the other girls who all seem to be thriving. Can't figure it out unless it's genetic. Moved up and turned up the lights. Fed 250ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 575 VPD: .44 kPa Day 19: Looking good. Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 20: Still looking good. New growth. Fed another 250ml RO water with 1ml RapidStart PH: 5.7 Tent Temp: 77º RH: 60% PPFD: 550 VPD: .44 kPa Day 21: End of Veg Week 3! Looking strong and healthy so far despite the extremely odd leaf colors. Close inspection shows some sort of deficiency or disease but all other ladies are receiving the same nutes in the same soil and grow conditions. All are very healthy. Has to be a genetic flaw in the bean. Will grow it out to see if it persists or corrects. Almost feeding/watering daily at this point, will up the solution volume and see if it will last a day or two longer. Fed 350ml-400ml of 4ml FloraMicro, 6ml FloraGro, 3ml FloraBloom, 1ml RapidStart, 2.5ml ArmorSi, 2ml CALiMAGic and 1ml Floralicious in RO water PH 6.2 PPM: 750 Solution Temp: 69º. 23 Dec - Evening @ 8PM - Excited! Third grow here we go (whilst simultaneously running my second grow into flower & a third outdoor started)! 24 Dec - a lot of seeds popped already. Will wait until morning to put in soil with a longer/stronger root. 25 Dec - 36hrs from putting seeds in water - all seeds now germinated & planted in moist soil, high perlite % (approx 50% and minimal nutes), temps between 25-28c, on 18hr light cycle, 50% on edge of light strength (see photo) and lightly misted with ph’d but nute free water (will be doing daily) in humidity dome with vents 100% open, good air flow around). N.B. Mimosa x Orange Punch had fallen out of shell already. Will see if becomes a problem now it’s in the soil. Planted with coldeyns just on soil line with fine soil v v lightly dressed to cover. Decent root so hopefully will be okay. 26 Dec - everything looking okay and misting pots and dome every 12 hrs (AM & PM). Vents mostly - 75% - closed, with fans going in the tent. 27 Dec - signs of life with all seeds still - most just about to pop through soil line (AM), now having popped above soil line (PM). Still misting every 12 hours and photos above just before another misting. Working well. So happy. First grow 25% success rate, second grow 50%, so hoping for a 75%+ this time! Really putting the time and trust in, not overwatering (past mistake) and using humidity not trying to water non existent root system (caring too much)! 28 Dec - tracking nicely! CLONES TAKEN FROM TRIPLE CHEESE AND RUNTZ MUFFIN (rooted by 17 Jan). 29/30 Dec (1am!) - further progress. Wld lyk to see Charlotte’s CBD above soil pls! 30 Dec (PM) - getting there! Choc mint, fat banana & Mimosa x Orange Punch into veg now, with Frisian Duck, Gorilla Zkittlez, SAGE CBD above soil but waiting on seed head to fall off and CBD Charlotte’s Angel to come above soil line. Sunday tomorrow. Might start ‘veg’ on Monday for simplicity and the hope others will be up and away!

The girl is getting lighter little by little, but at the same time her flowers are getting fuller :) very aromatic variety!!! She drinks 3 liters every other day, today I increased the light efficiency to 85%. She looks beautiful to me :) good luck everyone :).

the plans have been doing very well and despite being very hungry they seem to be doing very well I just need to start feeding them instead of once a week probably twice a week because they are very hungry now that they are in full flower mode . thank you for reading I will continue to update have a happy grow

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

Videos explains it briefly how they look so on the environmental side I’ve only been monitoring RH and temps. They’ve been sitting at 55-60 RH and 80-82 F. I separated the 4 plants as they were now overlapping in the 2x2’ section. They were transplanted in 2 gallon pots last week and by the looks of the Beast at most 2 weeks and she will fill that pot no problemo. I need to get them to 5 gallons before switching to flower. It starts with good genetics I couldn’t be any happier with the Beast, still amazes me daily.

Green House Feeded one is enjoying life and growing big health buds. She received her last lollipoping. Advanced Nutrients one is still struggling. I am increasing the feeding per Advanced Nutrients supports suggestion. Let’s hope she recovers.
