Pow, opened the door to the flower room and what a pleasant aroma I qas treated to. The Quick Critical smells great. Five weeks of flower completed and another one or two left. Buds are building nicely and putting on noticable size. The hairs are turning brown and the trics are getting cloudy. Leaves are turning yellow and figure that is from the plant consuming all the nutrients. I am getting the feeling, the moment I am waiting for is close. In my humble opinion and not based on any experience, I would think I have another week left before the first one or two plants are ready to be harvested. The other two do not have the same amount of brown hairs. After leaving the flower room I have the smell all over my hands and clothes, love the smell. Day 71. Girls are still stretching !!! Will supercrop biggest Blue Dream this Monday or maybe Sunday if i am lucky. I think next watering is on Saturday and it takes 2 days , so i can do it only before watering, less damage to plant and hopefully quicker recovery !!! But they reach sky, so no other way ! This week will be updated after main actions. Amazing run ! Day 72. Supercrop and watering day, before this - plants look amazing, but they reach sky and will go hermie in shade most of the time. Will update AFTER ... ;)) Job done ! Moved monster to the corner and supercroped her hard, left two colas untouched. Think Blue Dream #2 could need same drastic measures ;))) All girls got feed, raised lights to max. Hope stretch is over, otherwise half of harvest larva buds and i already cleared plants heavily ... One more round of defoliation for sure ! Day 75. Blue Dream took supercroping like nothing, still reduced watering on 25% for two goes, tops already standing up, leaves reverted to new horizont and hopefully no bananas !!! ;)) Girls got water with CalMag and video is straight after last round, i water in 3 rounds, 30 min inbetween, have no run off most of the time. This girl grew for 72 days. She shared a bed with 2 other plants and only used one of the lights in the darkroom (180 watt electric sky). She produced beautiful dark buds that smell insanely sweet. I have only vaporized 1 decent sized bowl through my mighty vaporizer and I must say it tastes pretty good even without a cure. No green earth taste and it tastes just like it smells. Doesn't produce any dry mouth or eyes so that's nice. I Vaped it right before I left for work and I didn't even get chinky eyed when I walked outside into the light. So it's a great daytime smoke. I definitely feel high, I just don't feel like other people can tell :). She grew in living soil And I am convinced that it's the way to be 💪0

Ripening started way faster than anticipated and I started flushing the other Critical at day 46 and she looks like she might be ready at the end of the week.. BUT I'm going to send her all the way to couchlock heaven so I'll probably chop her at the same as the other one which I reckon will be receiving at least one more full-dose nutrient blast and around two weeks of flush but lets see.. I want her to be close to fully finished but not too many ambers since the other one will be majorly overcooked. Didn't put too much effort on this timelapse since my PC is hiccuping pretty darn hard trying to process the camera RAW files to video if I put some effects on them.. wonder why since I got a pretty solid rig with 5950X and 128GB of DDR4-3866 RAM.. damn shitbucket can't handle somewhere around 1.5-2GBps bitrate video realtime😂

Here we are on day 28. On day 23 i spoted Spider Mites. Next day i been spray leavs whit neem oil, for now SM are gone i hope they will not come back. She coming along nicely😁🤩🤘✌️

August 23: Just finishing up about 36 hours of darkness, then I'm going to wash the buds, then hang them. Harvesting a bit early due to time constraints but it looks good. The smell is very dank, not a tropical skittles smell, much more like wood glue as I've seen mentioned in other reviews, although I'm starting to occasionally catch a sweeter tropical scent as well. I wanted to leave it a little longer. There were still a lot of white hairs when I started the dark period, but a lot of them seem to have developed into swollen calyxes so I'm pretty happy. I was a little worried they were making seed pods after last time, but I broke one open and all that was inside was red hairs. I'm going to keep an eye on the RH while they're drying and get them into jars and try to wait as long as possible before I start sampling. I can tell this is one of those batches that's going to get better and better if left alone for a couple months. Just did the wash, did 1.25 cups of 34% food grade H202 and a squeezed lemon in a 5 gal bucket. Another bucket of just water to rinse. Then I had a fan on it while hanging in the sunlight from a skylight in the bathroom for 30 min, then put the fan further back and on oscillate, then turned it down an hour later. Left it in there for a few hours, then hung it in the grow tent with everything removed except an oscillating fan, pointed away from the buds. I have the whole plant hanging in the middle of the tent and the tent is holding at 60% rh. Next run I'm going to do 2 buckets and only top once. I might leave them a bit longer in veg too to maximize the height in my grow space, and I'll get a proper 500w bulb instead of continuing to run 1000w bulbs at 50% to lower the heat a bit. The weather will be cooler and I'll only run one air stone in each bucket which should help with res temp. I'll probably foil-wrap the buckets again as well. I should be able to get another run done by the end of the year. I have a White Widow fem seed I've been waiting to use but I'm not sure what else I want to grow yet. Maybe Granddaddy Purp. I'll take some micro pics of the trichomes this week and start curing, and I'll post a proper review in a couple weeks. Happy growing everyone! August 24: I took it out of the tent to inspect. No mold or mildew. The middle of some buds are still pretty wet. I'll keep an eye on it. Wet weight on the stem is 158 grams/ 5.5oz. I harvested a couple branches last week and hung them up. I just ground up one of the buds, left it overnight and vaped some today. There was a bit of Chemdawg Tangerine in the grinder already but overall I got a lot of thick vapour, instant effects, and a really great tropical taste. I busted out the microscope camera and I realized I had a couple buds that fell off before I washed the plant in the H202, and a couple buds that came off in the washing process. It doesn't look like washing the buds took off any of the trichomes. I do seem to find less debris in the buds, not that there was much there before. The trichs look great. Just a light toasting of amber. The washed bud actually seems more dry than the unwashed bud. August 25: there's a real chlorophyll smell coming from the drying room today, it was much terpier yesterday. Leaves are getting crunchy, stems are still fully bendy. I ended up taking it down in the evening. The drying room rh dropped from 60% to 55% and the buds were starting to look too dry based on my last grow. I put it all in a paper bag for the night and I'll put it in jars tomorrow morning. Broken down most of the way it came out to 48-49 grams. From the bud structure, I definitely feel like it would have benefitted from more grow time if I didn't have to travel. More to come. August 26 - the edges of the buds are getting really crispy and the buds are getting tighter. I checked the paper bag earlier and it was 65-70%. I got the impression it was time to put it into jars. I'll keep the lids off for a bit.

The final Week, before harvest! She has some massive towering buds! 2.5 gallons of water is lasting this plant 5-6 days before drying out, and ready for more.. She was harvested instead of being watered!

Another big photo dump! I've completely cut out the FloraGro now. Flowers are starting to fatten and the lowest buds look very mature already. Excited to see what happens in Late bloom!

Hello growmies! Welcome to week four of An Epsilon Adventure! The girls are already transitioning into flower, I will get some photos of that later in the week. Daily Updates: ### Week 4 Day 1 11:00 16/7 Removed some lower growth. ### Week 4 Day 2 23:00 17/7 Tallest plants were showing signs of heat stress so I have raised the light about 30cm more. Unfortunately this now means the lower plants aren't getting as much light as they could, so I have put the cycle back to 20h (I may even increase it). ### Week 4 Day 3 14:00 18/7 Photographed. ### Week 4 Day 3 19:00 18/7 Fertigated 2l. Okay these girls are now starting to concern me a little on the basis that they are supposed to grow to "50-70cm". At just over 3 weeks old the shortest of these girls is 53cm, the tallest (plant 3) is now 76cm tall. The worrying thing is they do not at all look like they are slowing down and as they are just pre-flowering now, the flowering stretch hasn't even started. So I need some genuine advice here now: Do I keep the faith and hope that they don't exceed the space I have? Do I top or super crop them now? These ladies are beastly, at the end of the week I am going to take some individual videos and more photos to really try and capture how magnificently well these girls are doing. I think I may be in the process of growing the biggest Epsilon F1's so far? Exciting to find out! ### Week 4 Day 4 21:00 19/7 James has assured me they wont go much more than 85 so I am not going to mess with them. They are due a defoliation at the end of this week though. Measured each plant as follows: Plant 1: 81cm Plant 2: 75cm Plant 3: 80cm Plant 4: 67cm Plant 5: 59cm Plant 6: 58cm Might photograph later or leave until tomorrow. ### Week 4 Day 5 10:00 20/7 Photographed and measured. Plant 1: 85cm Plant 2: 79cm Plant 3: 81cm Plant 4: 71cm Plant 5: 63cm Plant 6: 63cm So they've all grown about 4cm in about 13 hours, except plant 3 - which seems to have slowed down a lot. The top of plant 3 is also the most advanced looking in terms of pistils. I forgot to take close ups of the preflowers I will do that tomorrow. I have had to raise the light again today and it is now much further away than the younger plants than I would like. So I am thinking about adding a 300w LED into my 4x4. I have another 3 inches I can raise the light on the hangers, after that I can removed the adjustable handers and tie it to the top of the tent... that'll gain me another 4 or 5 inches. If I need to go higher my only option would be to set them up without the tent which is not an option right now. Hopefully they all just stop getting taller now and focus on flowering... but my gut tells me there's more growth to come. Watch this space! ### Week 4 Day 6 15:00 21/7 Measured. Next week will see the full transition to flower and we will start to see the bud sites developing. I have no idea at this point what the heights will look like at the end of next week.
