Week 14/4 - 20/4

This week I installed floraflex automated watering system. Also I started feeding FloraFlex V1 and V2 nutrients 600ppm + Botanicare CalMag at 200ppm for a total of 800 ppm.

She was not suppose to grow that long..22 weeks..but due to the issues I had with the nutrients set me back a few weeks.. a really nice strain to grow i must say..I realized that i do not have enough watts for the grow box..and this affects my yealds.. Its not the best yeald in the world but its bud i didnt have.. Really not happy with the dry weight..but its oky i understand Only real problems i had was my Ph levels that keeps dropping but that is normal i suppose..My light coverage isnt kind of bad cause i ended up with a lot of small nugs that clearly didnt get light.. well it's all about learning..im learning as i go along..every grow gets better and better.. at least this time I'm growing a strain I'm mad about.. the 48hours darkness at the end of the ripen stage just before harvest makes a huge difference! the buds doubled in size but it will lose the density will drying.. buds are on the rack buzy drying..hence i could not give a dry weight yet. I'm alittle gown looking at the buds almost dry and they shrunk in size and arent as big as they looked..its alittle heart breaking cause i got only a few good sized bud and the rest is just this little tiny nugs the size of my half my pinky finger nail..😞some are slightly bigger than that..and then the top nugs which was the main colons ..they are about 6 good sized buds..its okay i learned from her and its not a waste cause she did give me some buds in the end.. now the curing starts..going to cure for a month more or less will see as we go along.. En esta semana mantendré todavía los Led por 24 horas al día, el EC lo tendré a 2,5, el PH tratare de mejorarlo, todavía lo tengo a 6,3 mas o menos. Las plantitas están creciendo bien, ya se ven las puntas de las raíces saliendo del substrato y tocando el agua. Para el fin de semana próximo cambiaré la solucion nutritiva y bajaré el nivel del agua. Decidí también poner un generador de CO2 casero(bidón con agua, levadura, azúcar y pulpa de tomates) consejo de mis amigos de zamnesia. En la semana nos iremos actualizando.

Everyone is in flush mode..... Just waiting for the fan leaves to turn yellow then its time for the ladies to hang to dry. Really can't wait to have a try of this, especially the Gelato Dream, smells absolutely beautiful, plus 33% THC! La Kosher Kush de la derecha abajo, tiene las hojas más finas y es más alta, las otras 3 Kosher Kush tienen las hojas más gruesas, la del medio abajo tiene un poco de color morado en el apical. Las Kandy Kush se parecen bastante, un poco más altas la de los laterales, pero se las ve bastante bien. Las Lemon Krystal son pequeñas y no se nota mucho, pero la del centro izquierda, tiene las hojas un poco más anchas. Si os fijáis en la de abajo izquierda, tiene una planta pequeñita al lado que es la anterior 1024 que se quedo una ahí en la tierra y la otra la saqué y la puse en una maceta de cactus, que también ha germinado, pero les ha costado, por eso están fuera y tenemos las Lemon Krystal, en el próximo trasplante, la sacare y la pondré en alguna maceta por el patio. Se han trasplantado a maceta de 6L.

This week I’m introducing my plant stands. It is a carousel design. They are lightweight, independent and can be put on/removed during growth with little effort or at the time of setup. I’ve had this idea for years, tried to find anything similar to it on line without success. I designed and assembled it about 2 years ago. It’s very versatile, can be modified for various uses and sizes, allows you 360 degrees access to you plant by rotation, brings you the ability to grow in a sea of green environment. Netting can be any size you desire and rotates with the plant. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask. Please take a look at my video this week that explains more. **The one on the plant now is actually designed for a 5 gallon bucket, I’ve simply modified it to work on this 2 gal bucket temporarily. This week she continues to outperform expectations and needed bracing because the weight of the flowers tipped her over. This was expected and remedied and all branches have now been spaced apart to allow bright lighting to penetrate deep into the plant. This is needed to mature out the lower buds. In another week I will cut back some more of the bigger leafs to allow even more light to get through. She continues to focus her energy on bud and trichome development (girth). The nutrient schedule has been updated as she is headed toward a late bloom cycle. Her smell is intensifying weekly. Maintain light power at 100% and PH at 6.24 I would highly recommend doing your own research on the blooming cycle. The change in nutrients is still controversial, but there is new and relevant studies that show of the main 3 NPK - K potassium was thought to boost flower production, the fact is this need on the plant remains relatively unchanged from vegetation through transition up to ripening. I continue to increase K in my schedule, but have started cutting back over this past year - up to 1/3 - without any noticeable difference. I have more that lends credibility to this theory I’ll explain next week. The case of bigger bud doesn’t mean anything special unless genetics and growth are in synergy. A quick note: I use General Hydroponics for nutrients and not this other one that is being listed, Terra Aquatica. I have no control over this update within Grow Diaries.

Bubble Gum was definitely the greatest yielder of the 3. So much flower I could not get in with the scissors to cut the leaves off at the stem. Very excited to see the final weight.

Excited to start my second grow (even though I haven't finished the first grow). I need to apply what I've learned before I forget and screw these plants, too! Started another zskittles seed 3/1 and planted 3/2. I kind of lost the first seed in the soil while planting (don't ask). I still left Skittles # 1 just to see what happens ¯_(ツ)_/¯. 3/4 - The seed that I thought was lost deep in the soil actually popped up a little near the edge. I G E N T L Y relocated the root to the center and buried it a 1/4 in down. Very excited that I didn't blow this plant! So it looks like i'll be growing 3 plants this time around. Ambitious for a newb? Very much so.

Jetzt kommt der langweilige Teil des Grows. Wachstum findet quasi nur noch in den Blüten statt. Veränderungen sieht man wirklich nicht unbedingt Täglich. Es gibt ein letztes mal Bio PK 5-8 als Top Dressing 10ml auf 500ml Wasser

Day 50 - Started week 8 today and things are looking good. I’m still a rookie at all this but it’s looking like this girl might be a beast, at least for me. Gave her a feeding of the foxfarm trio today and did a little leaf tucking. Just waiting for her to start putting on some weight. Day 51 - She’s looking really good and stretched another half an inch. Gave her some more water today since she’s drinking like a fish. Just gonna continue watching her grow and fatten. Day 52 - What can I say?!! This girl is gorgeous and starting to fill in and stretches another 1.5” overnight. She’s slowly starting to fill in and lovin’ it. Love watching the day to day changes. Gave her just another feeding of water and will give her the foxfarm trio feeding tomorrow. Day 53 - Nothing too major to report, looks like she stopped stretching and is starting to fill out and looking good. Day 54 - All is looking good and really starting to fill in now and getting a bit frostier everyday. Two days in a row of no more stretching so hopefully she’ll really start filling in more. Day 55 - Things are taking off with this girl. She’s starting to fill in nicely. Gave her straight water and in the next couple days, I will start week 9’s schedule for the foxfarm trio. She starting to frost up a bit and loving it. Day 56 - Last of week 8 and rolling into week 9 strong. All is looking good and gave her the first of two week 9 feedings from the foxfarm trio. Starting to get a bit frosty and lovin’ it.

In size they grow ;) attempting to keep mainlining and light defoliation. biggest plants starting to flower up. gonna feed her with bio pk, next watering sensing that the other plant is a little week behind. 24-05 sweet cheese got her first dose of biopk

Flush week! Actually she was flushed for 12 days, I want the best from that strain, so I'd like to avoid any nutrients left in my buds. She's a real beauty, showing her various colors upon her foliage and her buds. Trichomes are now exactly as I wanted them to be, so I'm going to harvest that lady now 😎
