7/14-7/21: This week I was out of town but implemented the self watering bases and the plant really took to it. My buddy came over and watered and took a few pictures for me, and I was able to get some pictures with my good camera when I was home fore the day on 7/19. I wish I could have been here to see it, but this week there was some serious growth and she stretched so much. The main cola leave tips got a little burnt but nothing to be concerned about.

Long time extractor, first time growing (both s/o and myself). Already starting the next grow. This was one plant/pheno in a 4x4 sharing a 600w light @ 75% or less the entire time. Only tracking ONE PLANT this harvest but for reference - we pulled just over a lb dry weight total from all 4. End dry weight - Buds: 104 grams - Sugar Trim - 35 grams End flower rosin - 14.5 grams (1st press) - 1.2 grams (2nd press) [Press 96 grams] ~15% yield (not great but expected from autoflower) Chopped a little earlier than desired (10/70/20 amber/cloudy/clear profile) due to a scare of a nanner. Being new growers, we recently learned we could have plucked the nanner off and let it flower another couple weeks. Dried branches at 65-70f/55-60rh for 7 days then stored in grove bags until pressed in 37u micron bag, ~180f, 2.5min.

GOT A SAMPLE LAST YEAR AND ITS SO GOOD I BOUGHT MORE. ITS A 2 PART POWDER NUTRIENT THAT DISSOLVES IN MINUTES AND YOU MIX THE SAME STRENGTH OF THE 2 PART NUTRIENTS FROM WEEK 2 UNTIL THEY ARE FINISHED (BESIDES THE FLUSH), NO MORE BULLSHIT OF SWITCHING TO BLOOM FERTILIZER. THATS MY FAVORITE THING BESIDES THE RESULTS. CHECK EM OUT AND BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU READ BECAUSE ITS NO BULLSHIT, AWESOME FRIENDLY AND HONEST PEOPLE

Here I was transplanting from solo cups to one gallon fabric pots they took very well to it. Didn't see no transplant stress.

Week 2 since they suddenly explored in growth. Since I have a very small tent, I just started the LST. Realised some yellow leave. Maybe due to light burn. Turned down power a bit to 40% and height increased to 25cm

Smooth sail still trying to dial it all in and I keep adding to the setup as I grow and learn more. Like to compare other grows for future questions about strain like growth pheneos etc.

Still keeping an eye on the early yellowing. I think I've been letting my soil dry out too much between waterings so it wasn't efficiently absorbing the nutrients. I'm hoping the worm tea and more frequent watering schedule will remedy the problem. I feel like the buds aren't swelling as much as they should this far into the bloom but trichome production looks great! I'm hoping I can take them both to at least 65 days before chopping but we'll see. No amber yet except a few on sugar leaves. Thoughts/suggestions appreciated!!! Edit (12/14/17): Just gave the girls some molasses with the last watering (only .5 TBSP/Gallon) Check my Xmas Grow Special video!!!

Week six few problems etc sorting out a few stunted baby’s

Que pasa familia, vamos con la primera semana de vida de estas Gorilla melon feminizadas de fastbuds. Vamos al lío , las 3 semillas que germinaron con éxito se colocaron en macetas de 0.6 litros y asomaron 3 , 100% ratio germinado. El ph se controla en 6.2 , la temperatura la tenemos entre 20/22 grados y la humedad ronda el 50%. El ciclo de crecimiento puse 18h de luz, el foco está al 75% de potencia. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

Week 2 update all 4 plants 15 days old. So the video is one day ahead of the pics. The only thing that really happened this week was blue dream #4 laid over and I did decide to support her back upright. I actually gave them their first pump spray watering tonight with just plain 6.5ph water. As u can see in pic blue dream 1 is already not happy with the heavier watering but a day or two and she will perk back up. Next go will be a feeding so next update we will be back in the good stuff!! Ready to get these ladies rockin!!🤟 Well till next week thanks 4 stopping by growmies. Wow she's grown loads this week. 22cm vertical growth. Flowering going full steam ahead!! 😎 💪

Well I’m closing this one out. I had a lot of problems with humidity outside and bud rot, in hindsight i read a few reviews in the last few weeks and purple kush is susceptible to bud rot. I did 2 separate harvest, one on the 9th and one on the 14th. I collected everything I could smoke, there is still buds left on the plants but because of bud rot and immature buds I’m saying fuck it. Sonoma seeds quotes 9-10 weeks flower i harvested at week 8 and week 9. I harvested just shy of a pound total, and just over and oz of “purple” looking weed. Between you guys and i, the purple one was pretty shwaggy as far as bud goes. Would i grow this again outdoors? NOPE. Would i try it indoors? You will have to stay tuned for my next grow. If you plan to grow this strain outdoors do not do it. The fact that it’s pretty much 100%indica it does not like to get wet,🤦‍♂️🏻 if you are in the desert, indoors or live in Afghanistan (lineage) go for it. The taste is also not quite what I expected, all the reviews say grapes, but i taste a neutral taste. Some of it smells quite good in the jars but as soon as you smell each bud it smells like spicy woody herb with some dank undertone. Trimming it i had some sort of dank spicy smell i just can’t put my fingers on, except it was all over them. The buzz is “ok”but nothing to knock your socks off with. It is a stimulating feeling followed by a calm “not sleepy” feeling. I haven’t grown many outdoor variety’s but I’m sure most of them turn out the same. I’m waiting for my indoor no name to finish and I can start trying to redeem myself with my leftover seeds, and hopefully get the true quality/if there is, with this purple kush strain. Rainbow melon has stolen my heart From day one the plant was bigger as nice strong stock handles low stress training well some of the biggest buds I’ve ever had. I am truly in love with this plant fade is absolutely one of the Most beautiful like an Indian summer Cannot wait to see what they come up with next💪🔥💯
