Original sensible seeds Girl Scout Cookies Organically Grown 23rd Feb 2020 This lovely lady smells Fantastic!! I have to brush past her to get to the other end of the Greenhouse and every time I do she lets off her scent. I can only descibe it as a mix of Dankness and a Sweetpastry Bakery like smell. The buds are starting to fill in better this week and she looks fairly healthy. Gave her some fresh worm castings as well as Lime , Liquid potassium and High Tea. She is now in the middle of a two to three day fasting where Im not giving anything at all to allow the pot to dry a little and allow oxygen to feed the roots. When I do water I'll add fresh Mycorrhizae to innoculate the roots again. Thankyou for Looking in on my Update See you next week . 👍

The plants have reached a stage where they have enough foliage and growth on them to begin training and defoliation. I cut most of the side growth and major fan leaves off. Using safety pins and twine, I started their LST.

She truly might be becoming the Gorilla that was promised, huge leaves. Not as pungent or bushy as the Orange Hill beside her but she seems to get there. I'm finally seeing some exponential growth, I'm going to give them as much rest as I can coming weeks to maximize growth before flowering and to prevent (hopefully) them going hermie on me, which both Gorillas and Orange Hill Special are prone to. I have made a video to thank them for letting me use their SP-3000. What a beast of a light!! Thanks again @MarsHydroLED for letting me test this awesome light! I have made a new layer of topsoil made of organic coco-peat, which should help me prevent more fungus gnats. They already seem to hate it and are wandering around in agony trying to dig in... Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Day 63 Flower (Day 105) I'm back! Iceland was breathtakingly beautiful as usual, and I even managed to see an active volcano. Amazing! I have good news and bad news regarding my girls. The good news is that they are both still alive and are overall looking pretty good. The bad news for the left girl is that the cheap irrigation system failed and only watered around 1 liter of water during the entire week. She was extremely thirsty, although still looking pretty good without any drooping. A couple of her leaves turned purple from the stress, though. I recorded a video just as I opened the tent for the first time after coming back a couple of hours ago. The news is worse for the right girl, though. The irrigation system worked flawlessly, so that wasn't the problem. Instead, I detected bud rot in three buds, and of course, it was in the three most significant colas. Fuuuuuuuu... I also shot a video as I opened the tent, and the affected buds are visible if you are paying attention. I have never had bud rot before, so I will need to do additional research on what to do next. I immediately cut off the affected buds and disposed of them outside. I hope I got all the affected areas, but I will inspect all the buds more closely tomorrow. Been traveling most of the day today and need some rest before scouting her buds. I looked at her trichomes quickly and still couldn't see much amber, but I will have a better look tomorrow. The worms have been busy while gone, though, and they were crawling all over when I lifted the old avocados. They aren't the only ones who have been busy as the fungus gnats are back, Sigh. Only a few so far, but yeah, another thing to sort out. The fun just never ends...

Day 43 veg been doing LST and super cropping but dunno if i should top all the bud sites please could someone give me some advice on that as I have never grown clones before Day 45 looking a bit better after super cropping and fimming all bud sites

Bueno resumiendo cookies gelato es una variedad híbrida muy fácil de cultivar pero ojo, cuidado con los últimos riegos si no queréis perder cosecha por moho. Lo demás de 10 pegada heavy sabor increíble, cogollos duros como rocas y bañados de una gran capa de polen. El ambiente del secado se mantuvo en 23 grados de media y la humedad estuvo por debajo de los 45% en todo momento. Poco más la verdad estuve encantado de poder cultivar una genética tan potente . Un saludazo que paséis un final de año increíble y por supuesto buenos humazooos💨💨💨.

So I really wish I could say this last week has been all sunshine and rainbows, but it has not. First well start with the good. Plant FINALLY stopped growing right at the best spot possible. Light is basically maxed out as far as it can go up. I could still do still do few things to maybe get a extra 1-2" but I'll wait and see if I'll need to. As you can see from the photos there is a massive amount of stacking going on with the buds. Words can't describe the excitement I have to see how big they all get and the yeild of the plant as long as I don't have anymore hiccups. Now the bad... didn't have any run off for a few days so I gave it a solid watering and got lots of run off. Run off that had a ppm of 2500..... almost 1300 ppm above what I put into it.... well fuck. So I gave it a flush tell I I it down to 1700 because I didn't want to keep putting water into it. Next day it had bounced back up to 1900 so did a small flush again and got it down to 1400 ppm. Then yesterday it had jumped back up to 1700 so I decided to change how I water it. Instead of giving it a massive feeding ones a day and having the coco dry out probably more then I should, I'm going to split the quantity in half and start giving it 2 feedings a day. 1 when lights turn on and another a hour before lights turn off. Hopefully I'll still get run off both times so that I can test it. Hopefully I'll get this corrected before next week. Well that's all everyone Happy growing!!!

🌗Switching to flowering this week, I reduced the length of the day by 1 hour each day until reaching 12 hours night time / 12 hours daylight on the 32rd day!🌞 🌺On the 32rd day I apply a layer of organic nutrients mixed with a little soil that I add to the top of each pot. I added 35 grams of BioBloom to each of my pots🌺 I'm doing some light defoliation again this week Happy, the growth went very well. Simply by lifting them; A light pot is a dry pot and will need more water, A heavy pot is a wet pot and will need less water. I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Day 36 1/18/22 - Doubled in height last week! raised lights 7 inches above manufacturer recommendation. Gonna try to stretch the ladies a bit this week. I feel I have the watering part down as I water slowly and (now) I feel the bottom of the cloth pots to make sure I got it down all the way. Day 37 - a little more LST as I was late to the party of understanding just how important LST, and other techniques, are to increasing your yield. Once you do LST the first time it becomes completely obvious that this is necessary. Plants now need water at different times so I will no longer be documenting when I water. Also I think I correctly diagnosed a wind burn issue and therefore have raised the offending fan a bit. Day 39 - Noticing a little yellowing on some of the leaf tips and found a little more of what I'm calling wind burn on another plant. I moved one of the fans, set the lights back to 75% intensity, and lowered them back to about 20 inches above tops (Mars says 18 inches). I think the ladies will like this better than 3 Mars TS1000's at full intensity inside a 4x4x66 tent (450W total). Note - I'm struggling a bit with temps in this small room. Hard to keep the tent under 80. Then at night the substrate gets down to 66 along with the room temps. So, during the day, when it gets too warm inside the tent, I open the doors and things are OK again. This is not a long term solution cause I can't be opening and closing it every day. Plus it's winter and the outside temps go into the 20's (F) at night. Run the AC in winter? No way. I can't imagine what I'll have to do when outside temps go into the upper 90's every day. So what is the long term solution you say? I've just about made up my mind to do away with the tents and dedicate the entire room for growing. I see myself growing 12 of the same or similar ladies per grow - one grow at a time and I can only fit these if the tents go. I'm currently figuring out what is involved besides grabbing an AC unit and venting it and the room up into the attic. That is what I'm thinking at the moment. Day 41 - upped my game cause I knew that I could not be accurate using my current ph testing solution. Could only get kinda close maybe sorta. So I picked up a BlueLab PH pen (recommended by the "420 Scene"). Long story short it looks like I've been feeding the ladies something near 7.0. Now I am able to get 6.3 or 6.4 consistently. Maybe I want to be at 6.5. Not sure so I'm going for 6.3 +/- 1 for now. Hoping they like it better! Day 42 - life is good. This was a fun week!

I had a few issues with this plant, and with all things considered, I'm very happy. She suffered some deficiencies and even under fed at times. She was chopped on day 79, and produced 51.1 grams (1.83 Oz) of frosty little Christmas trees. I will update the review once she has cured and after I've smoked her.
