So it has begun... I've had to start utilizing string to hold up branches by tying them to the ceiling rods and surrounding equipment. These plants are healthier and happier than my first grow, so I wasn't quite expecting them to blow up like they did, therefore my single-layer screen was not enough to support the branches. Not to mention the net used was store-bought and kind of sucks. I prefer my double-layer from the first harvest. The Mimosa is packing on some major frost, followed closely by the Glookies. American Pie trichomes seem to appear and ripen much closer to the ending stages of flower.

Oktober Cookies gelato wächst nun deutlich schneller. Tropimango wird ebenfalls schneller. Wachstumphase hat begonnen. Habe das erste mal den Wurzel Dünger und den blattdünger angewandt. Runtz noch nicht sichtbar 29. Oktober Die runtz ist klein sichtbar Cookies gelato macht was es soll Tropimango auch 1. November Cookies Gelato ist nun 17 Tage alt und sieht tip top aus. Das sehr misslungene Umtopfen hat sie gut verkraftet. Tropimango ist nun 14 Tage alt. Sie ist deutlich kleiner und die Blätter haben eine interessante Färbung. Sie wächst deutlich langsamer (Genetik ist auch deutlich kleiner) aber wirkt sehr lebendig. Runtz ist nun 3 Tage alt und sieht gut aus.

My permanent marker plants are looking really interesting! The short and stocky one with the purple leaves is super vibrant. I love that pop of color against the green of the other plants. It's a little different from the taller plant, which has this really cool stacked-up look to it. I'm curious to see if those stacked-up leaves will change color too. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Week 5 Veg Report: SCROG Netting, Massive Leafs & Precise Data Mastery! 🌱 Girls Growing Stronger Than Ever! 🌱 This week has been truly epic in the grow room—so much so that it’s time to bring in the SCROG net! With the canopy expanding and the younger ones still working to catch up, the SCROG net will help me achieve that perfect, even canopy. A well-placed SCROG not only ensures better light penetration but also gives the smaller plants a chance to spread out and thrive alongside their bigger sisters. Now, let’s dive deep into the SCROG method. The Screen of Green (SCROG) technique is a grower’s secret weapon for maximizing space, light efficiency, and yields. The concept is simple but powerful—train the plants to grow horizontally along the net, forcing them to expose multiple budding sites instead of just a single cola. This way, the canopy spreads evenly, improving light distribution and air circulation throughout the tent. As the plants grow, I’ll gently weave their branches through the screen, ensuring they fill every square inch of space. The end goal? A sea of buds all basking in equal light! 💪 Huge Leafs Everywhere! 🌿 One thing that’s really catching my eye this week is the size of the leaves—they’re HUGE! Honestly, they’re so big I couldn’t resist a little fun, so I made myself some fashion accessories: leaf earrings and a cap from the Super Sativa Seed Club Green Papaya! 😂 And, of course, I captured the moment. But seriously, large leaves at this stage are a great sign of healthy, robust plants. These “solar panels” are hard at work soaking up all the light, driving photosynthesis, and fueling growth. Using the AMP-3 Precision Meter, I’m getting real-time water readings and keeping everything dialed in perfectly. Let’s break it down: • pH: 5.83 • TDS in solution: 445 ppm • Water temperature: 25.2°C The Aptus products are incredible for balancing nutrients without throwing off the pH or TDS too much. I’m fine-tuning my feedings based on these readings to make sure the girls are getting exactly what they need. Talk about convenience! 🌱 P.S. – Inline Sensors: Heavy-Duty Precision 🌱 Now, let’s talk about the heavy-duty players in this game—the (PCT-2) Heavy Duty Inline EC/Temp Sensor and the (PPH-2) Heavy Duty Inline pH Sensor. These bad boys are connected directly to the AMP-3 Precision Meter, and they’ve been absolutely crucial in giving me the most accurate readings on my water and nutrient solution. The PCT-2 keeps me informed about the electrical conductivity and temperature of my solution, which is key for monitoring how well my plants are absorbing nutrients. Too high or too low, and we’re asking for trouble, but this sensor ensures I’m always in that perfect range. The PPH-2, on the other hand, is all about maintaining the perfect pH balance. A fluctuating pH can mean nutrient lockout or deficiencies, but thanks to this sensor, I get a constant read on my pH levels, so the plants are always in their sweet spot for optimal nutrient absorption. Together, these inline sensors allow me to run a super-tight ship—every drop of water and nutrient is dialed in to perfection, keeping the plants happy and healthy! Shout Outs! Hi all. Welcome to this run withbthe Viparspectra XS1500 which i was kindly sent to try by their helpful rep Valerie. As I have a fairly good space to use for my main grow , it seemed an ideal time to explore a few options while I wait for space to appear following upcoming harvests. The opportunity hit at a good time and has now driven the future play time. lol The light is a full spectrum 150W( at the socket) , Dimmable and very well made unit. As summer is here now , my concerns of more heat being an issue have stopped me from adding my other light so the smaller 2ftx2ft area covered by the XS1500 is a good option , The heatsink is built into the case design with a finned top to dissipate the heat so no noisy fans. Switching it on to full power was a nice surprise as the footprint was way wider than I had expected and the actual coverage is even better for my Nursery to harvest plan.... I am growing autos perpetually at present and have been able to throughput the plants with just 2 lights and using the overlaps at the edges to bring seedlings along to veg/flowering, as harvesting is finishing. The timing had been working well but the plants were getting smaller towards the last runs . I gave it some thought and Rh % came to mind. With the perpetual runs not having a higher rh in their veg periods due to other plants needing a lower Rh% in flower , the vapour pressure deficit (vpd) was not within veg periods healthier range. This current run has exploded and filled my normal space very quickly which in turn means I cannot use the same principle as the last perpetual run of bringing the next ones along ready for the exchanges. The XS1500 takes care of this issue with it being perfect for an initial nursery light that is easily covering all the new seedlings but is also able to cover my experimental "5 plant 1 Pot" attempt. I have placed 5 of my own autob seeds from a previous seeding in a single 60 L pot and intend to strip them to their 4th nodes and only allow 2 mains per plant to develop and flower. Inam hoping to have 10 mains growing in it that will be under the xs1500 solely as the other plants outgrow the lights footprint and space they are in. They will go into the main grow space once able so i can really see how well this new light can flower with the 10 mains to fill the space. Until that point , I will diary as we go and see what we can achieve.
