As you can see, my leafs don't look really healthy. It's either the fact that the soil was too wet for a couple of days cause my friends took care of it when I was away or it's because the humidity is so low. It's only on 36%, even though i bought an humidifier. The light was maybe too close to the plant as well in first week (30 cm I think, maybe less). I already highered the lamp to try and lower the humidity and to prevent the leaves from curling but idk if that's the solution... My first grow I never had problems with my humidity, maybe its because its colder outside now? I changed my ventilator as well, maybe that has an impact as well, but surely not that big? Any tips on: -What I should do to improve the leafs and prevent them from curling -What I should do to higher the humidity. As for nutrients, I mixed my soild with Biogrow (3g/l) when the plant was around day 3. I think this may have been too much too soon, but that's what they adviced on their site so I just went with it and afterwards I found out that you should try to wait untill your plant is a bit bigger.(I think)

Very pleased with the constant growth from these strains. They've really taken off after their first feeding. I think the tap roots have also finally hit the bottom 1/3 of Roots Organics Lush soil. I'll probably let the LUSH feed most of the vegetative nutrients and start amending flower nutrients in next week or the week after depending.

Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.

Week 8 update.... Plants are taking their sweet time. Hoping im doing this shit right. I trimmed some more popcorn bud branches and took out a bunch of fan leaves. Trying to utilize my light and control environment. Opened up the canopy with some pipe cleaners.... is it too early to guesstimate yield? Plants are 8 weeks, about 2 weeks into flower. . i figure i have another 50 days or so. Breeder gives 65 days for flowering. Im at around 15. Not counting the week stretch after first preflowers...... feeding about 2300 ppm. Light about 15 inches above canopy. Now it's the waiting game. Light staying where it's at. Ec staying where it's at until flush. They're shouldn't be many leaves growing back. My only thing i have to focus on is the amount of times i water a day and keeping an eye out for any cal mag deficiencies. Gave a little cal/mag/ nitrogen for the loss of leaves in tonight's feeding.

Sep 20: Lemon Cream Kush smells great and the buds are looking really nice. Nice big and hard buds covered in white trichomes. Life is good. Did a second flush as the buds need another week and I like how the first flush went. Otherwise just pHed water. Sep 24: removed some more fan leaves to let more light onto the ripening buds. She has picked up some nice frosting in the last few days and smells really great. Will likely keep going as long as the weather is good. Maybe three more weeks at most. Sep 25: harvested the tops. Maybe a bit early but today was a good day to do it before 3-4 days with cool rainy weather. Put 310 g into freezer and 1040 g in the washing machine. Total 1350 g wet buds harvested is equivalent to 340 g dried. There is still a lot on the plant to leave for another couple of weeks, and she will be well over a pound dried weight. Hashwashing recovered 56 g of beautiful light tan coloured wet resin.

This is the only one that has heat stress,maybe because I was starting with 24/0 and maybe wasn’t good idea,now it’s running 20/4 and seems to work fine.Stick to 20/4

Growing Great

The grow was a complete success I am so happy and have some great quality product at the end of it. First things first the important bits the weights of each plant and what was done differently on each during the grow, plant colours can be determined by looking at the colour of the pipecleaner hooked over side throughout the grow. Pink - Wet = 548g | Dry = 106g Pink didn't have any defoliation or trimming throughout the grow, she was the untouched girl, looked the biggest at the begining but the other girls overtook in flowering in a big big way! She looked like she got root rot close to the end of the grow potentially, her leaves turned on me very quickly and I harvested her early, she wasn't quite as dry as I liked and during drying more mould occurred on some of the buds, I was left with a good 85g after being very fussy and wipping lots of buds out to protect the rest of the harvest. You can tell she was harvested a little early as doesn't taste as good or smell as good as the rest. Her buds in the jar are more compact as been curing for a week on the rest. Orange - Wet = 416g | Dry = 120g A little bit trimming/defoliation. Stripped of fan leaves on last week for flush. Blue - Wet = 466g | Dry = 121g She was smaller at the start, and I flushed too early as she had a late growth spurt and became massive, think she also developed a late root rot but caught it before any harm was caused to the buds but the leaves are a bit yellow as you can see from the final trimmed product! Also potentially so tall she may of been a bit close to the light and got a little hot. Yellow - Wet = 508g | Dry = 132g The abosolute star of the grow! We grew her originally as a backup in a spare container that is awful for growing, we ended up needing her and transplanted her in the early weeks when we broke one of the other girls. She had a good trim/defoliation throughout grow to ensure she was getting good light coverage. So from this grow I have learnt alot and will be taking the information to try and create a perfect grow next time! My plans are to use perlite to help prevent root rot in the later stages and increase air flow through the soil mix. I will also use a 9cm pot to start the grils off and transplant when they have grown out of them. I will place the scrog net in the tent early on so can use it to train the girls, probably around week 2/3. And I will do a light trim late veg and last couple weeks of flower will get a heavy defoliation. Keeps your eyes open for my pineapple express growing coming soon! everything turned out very well :) and it's only with 50w and with 40x40cm space :) It was an interesting journey with her, a slightly different cultivation and old mistakes were discovered :) the flowers are not dense, but they are really very, very sticky :) I'm happy:)

My biggest harvest yet, 385g dry oh my god. Never thought hydro could yield sp much so fast. And fastbuds genetics helping me achieve that. The strain is so potent we smoked a joint 4 people and had to put it out bwcause everyone got so stoned. Wonderful. But curing now so im looking forward to those terpz and maybe a little else you never know what surprises beholds. Hsy out!

27/04/2021 (Day 42) Todo viene muy bien, las plantas están comiendo con muchas ganas y consumen unos 15L de solución diario. La preflora está comenzando! Ya se puede observar como van estirando y mostrando bastantes pelos! Los Citizen x 8 están trabajando a un 80% rondado los 500W. 28/04/2021 (Day 43) Se realizo un nuevo cambio de solución, las plantas ya están tirando pelos y los leds están al 80%, se observo un gran crecimiento radicular y las paredes del tallo son increíblemente gruesas y duras. 03/05/2021 (Day 48) Las plantas vienen con un crecimiento optimo pero la flora se está tardando demasiado en hacerse presente, se estima que es debido al estrés que tuvo en semana 3 de vege produjo un retraso de algunos días. Esta semana se incorpora Safe Roots al sistema con la finalidad de que deje la solución lo mas limpia posible. También se realizaron bastantes defoliaciones ya que no existía penetracion de luz teniendo en cuenta el tamaño que están ocupando (85% del espacio de cultivo a 30/35 cm de altura)
