So far so good! She didn't get affected by mold whereas two other plants in the room started to show bad signs, I lost two tiny colas but this GBK is safe. Colas are getting almost as big as a soda can. It seems that the foxtailing has stopped so I guess my quantum board was too close, dimming the driver down was the good thing to do. Stay tuned! 😎

Very little to work around those beauties. The smell is so delicious already. They smells like sweet berries. Buds are loaded with trichomes, very sticky and hard as rocks especially on Athena. Trichomes are mainly clear and some parts milky. Absolutely love power of LST and how it worked on this strain. If you won't look under net it's almost impossible to see which cola belongs to main stem. Week 11 Dec 25 - Dec 31 Dec 25-26 Joyful observation Dec 27 Selective defoliation and First watering for this week. Nutes adjusted, almost 8ltr between both. Runoffs PH on both at 6.2. I am finding this PH level for this strain as perfect. Girls are looking super healthy and drinking they mixture like crazy. Dec 28-30 All is going smoothly. I can see more and more weight each day. Dec 31 Secomd watering foe this week. 8 ltr beetwen both. It's the last day of this week and also end of 2023!! Had a calcium toxicity from trying out a couple Nectar For The Gods supplements I got in a free sample kit from them. I looked then up and their whole lineup is calcium based so that makes sense. I flushed the pots out really well and then I brewed a compost tea with earthworm castings, green compost, humus, seaweed extract, humic acid, fulvic acid, kelp powder, some malted barley, NFTG Zeus Juice, Primordial Solutions Sea Green, a little Hyshield, some Europonic Nitrozyme, Europonic Fossil Fuel, and then some blackstrap molasses and brown sugar. I brewed it for 40 hours and then I added 1 cup per gallon of water and fed all my plants with it. They all perked right up. They seemed to love it.

Aug 9: Mimosa Shot is doing fine. She was slower starting than her wagon partner Sunday Punch EV, but she is liking the warmer weather. Got UV led lights from AC Infinity going today. These are designed for indoor so I can only put them out on nice weather days. Did this last year and seems to work. The UV lights make Edmonton in the fall feel more like California in the summer, or at least that’s the idea. UV is critical for trichome production so it’s a good way to boost THC percentage. Aug 14: rainy the last few days. Mimosa Shot likes to be a bit warmer. It was slower getting going in the spring, and now it seems to be suffering from a P deficiency. Reddish petioles, and a blueish tint to the leaves. She has received Power Bloom and barley just like the other plants, but still seemed to be lacking something. Ed Rosenthal’s Grower’s Handbook says P deficiency can be due to cold weather. Decided to try and dissolve 0.5 tsp of Power Bloom in 1 L of warm water to use as a high P foliar spray. As always, used a bit of Dr. Bronner’s Peppermint Soap as a surfactant, and apple cider vinegar to adjust pH. Power Bloom mostly dissolved but with some undissolved. Unfortunately I don’t have a working TDS or EC meter. Not sure how strong it was so just sprayed a bit on the fan leaves.

They were very similar looking plants in early growth, but one of them stretched about 10 inches more than the other. It only weighed a few more grams despite the extra height. They require no special attention at all and produced fairly well, though I'd have liked a bigger yield. The buds are dense and smell amazing. So, the nutrient lock is fixed, the humidity is under control, and these ladies are looking super vigorous. We will flip very soon as the stretch will fill out any holes in the SCROG net. We will also clear the bottom of these plants in the next day or 2, taking lots of clones and making sure we have that SOG. We have introduced some workers, 10 praying mantis to keep an eye on any pests.. the video of the mantis is from another grow, not the OG kush Light is about 70% ATM and i will turn up to 80% today, Spiderfarmer have kindly sponsored us with a Light controller, that arrives imminently and as soon as it does, it's week 1 of flowering and the light will go to 80% - then 90, then 100.... We have had serious rain here, the relative humidity outside is 90% and the temp is 31 degrees. We continue to feed with our own nutrient schedule.
