I spent about 35 mins tops with them during the week, and then I love giving them the attention they deserve on the weekends, what else is there to do when the worlds gone mad? 2nd grow on the "smart plug cycle" and the cost is so low..I am extremely happy with the SPIDER FARMER SF2000, but there's times I just want to plug in the 1000w to penetrate deep into the plants but the reasons for the LEDs is to grow some heady herbs for less. LEDs can get expensive but its just start up costs, after that you don't have to change bulbs and you don't notice the pull on the electric bill. WIN WIN the ladies have been busy this week and producing which means i'll need to go in tomorrow and do a clean up. happy growing! ...GOOD VIBES here!!! This is where it gets tricky, 2 weeks left of feeding before flush and all I am trying to do is keep as many leaves possible to feed all those buds. I am usually just a big bud person but I recently purchased a hash machine and I know a couple old heads that still love bubble soooo... THE SEED PHARM.... Hi, thank your for visiting my diary, more info on my setup, soil and situation in: Germination... So been doin the whole Sherlock thing with the magnifier and nope.... no trichomes amber yet.... My magnifier is just not strong enough and apparently my eyesight is bollocks or my arms are too short... On the images ( I also have onset parkinsons as it seems, thus I used a tripod and low and behold: a stillshot) the trichomes are visible. Now I have the problem that I have to go for a week in a week. Im not leaving all on (mainly no control over smell and some distrust in my own handywork compiling these lights) when Im gone. So these ladies have to hurry up now. The other problem is the cure... I have no way to monitor temps and RH when Im away so Im gonna have to find a sitter for my babies or just cut them preprime or they magically make amber overnight.... I hoped, since they were racing to the finish, that I would be in time.... So maybe we pack an extra tent for our vacation... My growtent... I have been flushing for two weeks, still the leaves and plants are vigorous and lively. Some yellowing pointy bits but too minimal.... Temsp outdoor have been higher but stable, temps in the tent never over 26.8 degrees. Humidity has been dropping last days which I hoped for. Anyone any experience with building a climate chamber for curing? Or any on the market that will do? Please check my Zambeza 3 seed give away by guessing my final result! As an update: I took some tiny larf of a couple of days ago and totally forgot about it. Today out of weed, I found the dried remains in the jar I put it in and left it. No temp, no cue, no rh anything. So I get it out of the jar to find it smelling like weed, not even hay or grass but pungeant stinky weed. I start to crumble and find it is sticky, solid, and crumbles to nice bits that crumble even further. I light up and an amazing sweet and citrussy smell comes free, it is superstrong, although still more high obviously, and supertasty, without any cure. This promises even more for the rest of the bunch. This was some underside sad yellowish larf,not any density to it but smoked ten times better than my local, round the corner dispensary weed that I smoked later that day. Even Sunshine (my partner) was amazed with difference in smell. Update 24th july: I finally saw ambers yesterday and the fact me running out of time, made me decide to start the 48 hours of darkness. Tomorrow she/they will be cut down for drying and curing. I have a humidifier and can manage temps to be a bit colder to prolong first dry as long as possible. Coming friday I have to decide what to do: keep them hanging for a full week, whilst Im gone. Or start the jarcure if drying (since its very hot and dry here lately, this might be the case) is faster. I would have loved to give these ladies another week maybe two... They were still so healthy. But I cant control anything when Im not here and this could potentially destroy my harvest or get very smelly, this leaves me no choice for now... The trichs are now at +/- 15% to 20% rest is all milky with just some single clears on less developped lower buds... I allread know she is nice tasting and potent enough. As soon as we are at the final weight I will post the harvest and we choose the winner! Another update: closer inspection revealed that the plants a/ had still lot of underside larf and b/ lots of clear trichomes. As we are near the finish I rather give them another week of light. So Ive bent all the big buds downwards to protect them from the light. I might not be able to correct the cure, but its a shame not give them another week if I can. Some will be horrified with the damage but my reasoning is simple, the big buds are done or almost, the larf still can develop into bigger buds so a late harvest supercrop and lowered the lights to 35 cm for the final push. In the harvest video we will show you the way we made the comfrey tea and where I keep it, our permagarden, introduce myself and maybe even Sunshine, the light of my life, introduces herself. Another really good week. We officially have flower sites as of Monday 3/27 first day of flower!!!! She is such a monster now! I am really excited to move into flower. I have the plant opened up some more and hoping I can penetrate beneath the surface without side lighting this round. We will see ! The other sour clone I had running, same skunktek is doing well and just got setup with blumat Tropf drip Irrigation! Stay tuned

Last final defoliation done, now buds are fully exposed to the lights and the best part, harvest trim will be easier. Still it took me around 8 h altogether to defoliate all of them. Tones of buds and frost , amazing smells. Won't rush will give it a bit more to swell.

6/13 - It's the beginning of week 3 and 2 of my 3 Jack Herers are suffering from Zinc deficiency. I noticed this yesterday and believe this is a root issue and not a pH issue. They have most likely outgrown these little 4 inch nursery pots and used up all the nutrients in the soil. I'm about a week late in transplanting them as is. I was going to do it last week, but my schedule got thrown off. I knew I would have to leave them in a bit longer so I gave them a very light feeding last week as I was afraid to burn them. However, it turns out for these two, it most likely wasn't enough. I will be transplanting them into 1 gal pots tomorrow with brand new Roots Organic original soil amended with Roots Organics Uprising Foundation. That should take care of any issues. 6/15 - Transplanted all three Jacks into 1 gallon pots. I started with Roots Organics Original soil then added some Oregonism XL to the root ball and a good amount inside of the hole before planting. Then, I top dressed all with some Uprising Foundation also by Roots Organics. . For gnat prevention, I used Bti (Bacillus thuringiensis) aka mosquito bits. I also added some Uprising Grow, as a dry amendment to the one plant that were showing deficiencies for a little extra boost going forward. Finally, I watered everyone with compost tea that I brewed for 18 hrs. They are already looking stronger and healthier.

Enjoying her progress over the last week. Lowered humidity today a tad to slightly increase vpd. Also lowered light a few inches and may do so again. Will keep it here until we progress in flowering. Expect to start LST this week. Will include plant and light height and distance details once I begin LST. Her sister, punch berry cookies, moved to flower tent. PoG will finish in veg tent, alone, as I’m shutting down for vacation in April. Video/photos taken 14 days after breaking soil.

I'm going to give her another week or two just to get the tricone a little more amber about less then 5% Plant b is looks healthy and is getting thick I am probably going to give it another 3 week cause alot of tricones are not cloudy about 50 to 60% is cloudy will wait till 90-100% is cloudy

Another week of decent weather including the hottest day on record for July in the U.K. It was not last as we have had several shitty showery days but this will hopefully clear to the glorious blue skies we have been having. No problems to report this week but I'm sure the fecking slugs will show there slimy heads at some point so I'll be on guard for the buggers. 😂

10 November 2020 SunSet-Sherbet Well this week is just another week by now, this lady has been threading through the scrog throughout the week and I believe this lady has finished here stretching and is in full on flowering mode now. Normally a plant stretches the first few weeks into flower to stop the growth and use the nutrients it’s getting now is used to store in the nugs and not the growth anymore. Each cola of each branch has reached the scrog net and has a decent amount of light exposure due to the fact that I only has one light for 2 plants and the spread of the light isn’t the best. Started making actual looking hairy heads with the on them 😁 the leaf spread is just getting a lot. Do-Si-Wine This plant is doing splendid due to fact that the long and stretchy-ness of these branches has reached the scrog net above and beyond which makes it a lot easier to thread through the scrog and to get as much light exposure as possible for more thicker nugs 🤓 The heads on this lady has started making THC 😁 the nugs are starting slowly to turn white which is very cool, because the plant is a dark green with WHITE nugs. One branched has snapped which is quiet delicate and grows above the rest if the canopy and causes shadow from on the bottom branches.
