Grow report week 8: The legalization and the Tent-X System Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the eighth week and have continued to grow. But they have also experienced some exciting news, which I will tell you. The legalization This week something incredible happened: The Bundestag passed the partial legalization of cannabis. From April 1, cannabis consumption for adults is to become legal in Germany. This means that I and my brothers and sisters no longer have to hide and can freely pursue our hobby. I thank everyone who helped us achieve this goal. We will not stop until you also get your right. Legalize it everywhere! I am very happy about this decision and hope that it will contribute to a better health protection, more education and prevention and a stronger child and youth protection. I am curious how the new drug policy will affect the grow scene. The Tent-X system This week I also got a new system for my room: The Tent-X system from TrolMaster. The Tent-X system is a state-of-the-art, professional and modular environmental and irrigation control system designed for single-zone grow tents. It allows me to effectively control the environmental parameters and irrigation schedule of my tent with a single control system. I think the system is outstanding! It offers me many settings and functions to automate my system according to my wishes. For example, I can change the lamp height or power based on PPFD values, read the substrate moisture and EC value, simulate the sunrise or adjust the light spectrum. The system is also very easy and intuitive to use. I can control it via my smartphone and access my data at any time. I am happy to have this helper for the upcoming flowering weeks. I am sure that he will help me to a better yield. I am also very grateful to TrolMaster for providing me with this system. The back four will all reach their net next week. I defoliated them heavily in the lower area two days ago, which they tolerated well. They look really healthy to me. Taking pictures is very complicated right now, you hardly know where one plant starts and the other ends. But that will get better in the next few weeks. I am happy that it is now going into the last vegetative week and we will reach the flowering on next Sunday with a light cycle on 12/12. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the eighth week. My plants have developed well and are ready for the flowering phase. Updating for the week of 9/12 Euphoria is doing great. She responded well to the top dressing last week, but I figured she could use some more sugar so I gave her molasses and liquid nutes this week. There were a lot of worms that got exposed during watering so that's a really good sign that they're in there, working what wasn't completely broken down in the compost, and leaving worm castings behind👍 Otherwise I think it's all covered in the video! Obviously I didn't upload after taking photos and video, I thought I could push through my migraine a little more but then the kaleidoscope aura kicked in and I had to hide from the sun... and the rest of the world. Finally in full flower mode. Ready to start putting on some serious size. I turned the lights up to 80% a couple days ago and they both are taking it well. No light burn yet that I notice. I'm not sure if I should start bringing the lights closer at 80% or keep the distance but instead Increase power to 90%. Going to feel it out as we go. Happy so far for sure. Update: increased light to 100% . No lead burns or weird looking leaves yet.. Just bulking up and very thirsty! Doing a nutrient/nutrient/water feeding schedule now.

Saturday, 12-02-2022 Plants not looking too bad at all. #1 Is smaller than all others but still looking ok. No visible ill effects remaining from DE treatment on all plants. Rain and cloudy conditions throughout the week have limited my feeding. Was only able to feed today since last week. Mix was runoff rainwater with 10 ml/gallon C AB Beta 3.12 and 7.5 ml/gallon Cytokin. Also foliar sprayed with same mix. Runoff water has not insignificant amount of "sand" from waterproofing membrane applied to roof last week. Need to monitor for effect. I cut back on nutrients to 10ml/gallon because the feeding charts of the nutrient I am copying has 10ml/gallon as being the appropriate heavy feeding rate for this stage of growth. Want to start incorporating humic acid to account for the reduced potassium in my nutrient mix. I noticed what appeared to be whiteflies escaping when I LST'd the two plants. Cotyledons seem to have disease. My IPM plan needs to get going next week. I need to remind myself that this Grow is a true trial for me. When growing other plants in the the past, I have sometimes been too "precious" or cautious or lazy. I have loved to death countless plants. I want to to try new techniques I have never done, feed on reasonable schedule and just live in each moment of the grow. I am binging Dog Whisperer now and one of the biggest things you can learn from that show is the benefits of just living in the moment. Forgetting the past, prepare for but don't stress about the future and just enjoy right now 😄. The plants are too underdeveloped to do the topping techniques I want to try but my urge to just do something on them led me to try LST on the two most developed plants. I was in two minds about this. The guide I am following about LST (https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/the-quadsquad-thread-a-community-for-quadlining.464769/), recommends topping first then training. But again, the urge to just do something to the plants after a week of mentally refining 😅 my techniques was just just too strong. Now that I actually did it I don't feel too bad because I see that nodes 1 and 2 are below my first tie downs so I am interested to see how that will work out. That said, I only have three plants left to grow the "documented way" so I need to control the urge to just act for action's sake without a clear goal from that action. Sunday, 13-02-2022 LST'd plant tops straightening out quickly, less than 24hrs after first tie down.

Everything is looking good, just waiting on ripening and then the much anticipated harvest. 6.4.25: I watered 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients;- ♡ 4ml Xpert Nutrients Cal-Mag amino acids ♡ Greenleaf nutrients Bud Explosion PK booster ♡ Greenleaf nutrients Mega Crop Part A Total PPM: 1010. GORILLA COOKIES: Is looking super frosty and close to harvest. She's still drinking well, so checking her daily. BUBBLE KUSH: Is looking very good, still waiting to check buds, as I don't think we're there yet. She's drinking very heavily still. It won't be long now. Maybe a week. So many buds! 😍 PINK MIST: We are not developing very quickly. All of the deep orange pistils are sticking out and aren't curling in. This is week 21 now 🤯 Hopefully I can wrap this up here very soon 😅 DO-SÌ-DOS: She is looking phenomenal 😍 really large buds. One is very ready, but the other buds are still not there. Die Woche über haben sich die Blüten weiter entwickelt. Die Trichome wurden mehr und man fängt an erste Terpene zu riechen. Wir haben Donnerstag (BT 21) stark entlaubt und schauen jetzt wie die Pflanzen wachsen. Z-Up haben wir ziemlich extrem entlaubt. Mal schauen wie sie reagiert.

OK, so we started the 6th week and the plant is showing some growing signals. It's impressive how a plant that looks really bad, can actually keep growing and developing itself. This week I've started to see some development on bud zone/spot, and I believe that even making some mistakes ate the beginning, I'll be able to taste some buds from this little girl.

It’s day 1 of week 7 flower. She’s looking a little hungry today. Last week I reduced the feed as I had a little nute burn, the general appearance of the plant is looking slightly lighter in colour, so this week I’ll add back the extra 0.5 ml of each nute. Three more feeds of 1.5 l then on to the plain water.

7/13/25 - 7/16/25 Flipped as another strain is gonna be a problem otherwise. Very stumpy and thicc lady, already smells very funky and rotten. Now we wait and see what emerges in flower. 7/17/25 - 7/19/25 One hungry girl, she is on 100% feed rn. And god she stinks, really gives u burning nostrils. I know copycat is a sensitive topic in the breeder world but he knows his shit. I am abaolutely going to get more of his shit.

REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.
