Day 57. Statement : Even with hard beginning - thats my best run ! Zamnesia is AMAZING !!! With veg hiccups, they still bushout to really nice plants in less than 7 weeks. Now Blue Dream is targeting my roof, Kalini Asias are thick as f@ck. Runtz very dense plants, thought they would be a bit bigger ... They drink every 36 hours, hard to keep up with work, but i do my best not to screw up with them ;) This week : feed, water, water. Defoliation too !!! Day 59. That game - "who will reach sealings" - I don't like !!!! Moved lights two days ago ... Soon i will need axe for my roof !!! ;)) That Monster Blue Dream is insane !!! Hope will do heavy defoliation in two days, maybe this will shock her ;))) other plants keep up with her and canopy is even without all three Blue Dreams. Huge plants. Day 60. Video is showing how less space is left, but they just keep climbing !!! ;)) Day 61. Thinking to defoliate all girls tonight, but maybe i will do it after next watering. Had to reposition them, loads of branches need to be chopped, some didn't see light for last two weeks( Curly, looks like sh$t, will never reach light). Girls are too big for my setup and i really hope it will be enough light and HEIGHT for them... And so Defoliation has started !!! Hope everything will go fine !!! All done !! I'm impressed with this C4 Auto, from fastbuds this is one of two plants I grew. This plant is a real indoor plant she grows lovely. The other plant is an outdoor plant it's pretty too don't get me wrong but where i thought the outdoors would produce a bigger plant i got the opposite of that, I got a Mutated plant, nice colored bud on here but she continues to mutate even in flowering stage my indoor plant is twice her height and size but love both my C4 Auto from fastbuds. Even if they broke my heart by changing payment policy, I'll never be able to get seeds from fastbuds again so I decided to spray my runt on the outdoors with tiresias mist feminized seed spray..... hopefully I get some pollen and able to pollinate my indoor C4 Auto..

She's doing well this week. Pushed out a few new leaves.

It smells like my high school years. The clippings I pulled out of my pjs which is now sitting on my dresser smells fresh. Very soothing. I grew up on oil so. This evening has had me wondering how hard and how much of my plants will be needed. IF I even get there. Im hopeful. They are on their 10th day of 12/12. All six of my girls are showing white pistols. Two days before the flip they were fed veg nutes, last sat they got bloom nutes, they look good today but they have flourished a bit. I think I’ll feed them another lower dosage of bloom nutes tomorrow. I have also defoliated them a fair bit tonight. .It’s been very hard to sleep. I want the best for them. I’m trying to learn to as I can to hopefully give them that best opportunity. They haven’t stretched in these first ten days as I thought. They have stretched don’t get me wrong. Just not like people had me thinking they would. Least they had pistols at nine days. Hope all is going well with everyone’s grows!

Potted up from 5L fabric pots to 10L air pots. I got these air pots because they are tall and narrow which helps disperse the water laterally (I also use Yucca and Silica additives), it's important because I use the auto watering halos.

Finally back to the garden after 4 weeks away. They were really in need of love by the time I got back to take care of the garden. BIG NEWS! Now running a California Lightworks Solarxtreme 500 as my main light. Will add a second SX500 light into the room once I start flower. Hit the LST on the again and just making sure they are getting fed and lots of love. Will have to push back my starting flower by another few weeks. See how the recover

She got really purple because of the temperature drop (from about 30 degrees outside to nearly 15 now) I guess. Which looks kinda awesome. The bids are growing and I increased her nutrition again to 2ml one a week.

Everything going great, tents a bit warm but being able to fert and flush more often I'm loving it and so are the ladies.

Another pretty solid week in the books on these girls. I did have my first real issue though and totally my fault. I have been topping with a mix of nutrients and just plain RO water and have not been adding in my calmag to the RO water and a few leaves showed some signs of deficiencies but I think I have corrected the issue pretty quickly. I may be adding a second trellis because these girls are growing like crazy, I am very glad I put the net up when I did, spreading these girls out and providing some support seems like it was 100% needed. I am still learning and figuring out what and when to defoliate and remove some things. I did a bit of defoliation on Friday and tried to clean up the bottoms of these girls a bit under the net. I know I am going to need another round of that, but I will give them a few more days to recover. I am still keeping the nutrient strength relatively low and seems to be working out just fine. My environment, temps, rh, and water temps are all staying in pretty ideal conditions. Grow seems to be going well, just need more experience and practice with training and defoliation, but its been a blast! I fed them nutrients until Wednesday and continued until Saturday with RO water, changing the reservoir daily until I got the ppms down to were my truncheon doesn’t react anymore. On Saturday evening started cutting them down (6hours….).

My good friend convinced me that trimming and training are paramount, so I've started with slowly defoliating the Creme de la Chems to try and get to lollipop status. They're just starting to flower, so I figured I could get away with a more aggressive approach. Because I failed to train these girls early, I'm stuck dealing with a little rain forest. What I've tried to do is trace each flower topped stalk up from the base, and trim away from the bottom up. 1/3 of the way up per day. I've now got a thick canopy, and I've been trying to just use leaf tucking and manual manipulation every few hours in order to keep the different height flowering sites in direct light. These ladies have really been thriving, and it's been such a joy to watch them grow! I like having two plants in one net pot letting them grow wild, but I think in my next grow I'll keep it to one per pot and train better from the start. As for the Super Orange Haze ... not as good. I attempted to pull the main branch over to train her to some empty space, but I was too aggressive and ended up popping her head off :(. First grow, first disaster. I took the head and stripped her/coated in clonex and pushed her into some potting soil just to see what would happen. There hasn't been enough foliage to really make me want to do any trimming, I've just tried to tie the stalks off to train them apart. I'm really sad about my mistake decapitation, but she seems to be doing well still. She's probably week 2 of flower based on others' journals. I changed the water midway through the week (which is when the videos were taken). I drained most of the water out, but roots prevented me from getting the last few gallons. When I refilled the res with RO, I measured the PPM at around 200. I have to assume that remaining nutrient was completely unbalanced leftovers, so feeding will have to just have to be experimental. My approach has been to give around 1:1 Gro vs Bloom and Micro every 2-3 days when I refill with RO. I want to build my PPM up to 1000, but slowly so that I can detect if I hit a ceiling first. It's hard to measure how much food is in the water based on PPM. CalMag is what drives it mostly, so I've been using CalMag as a sort of measuring stick. I keep the CalMag pegged to the Bloom food, but I know it's only good for initial dosing. I can't assume the plants are eating CalMag in the same proportion as anything else :(. If anyone has a line on cheap lab testing ... hit me up. I'd love to be able to test a few hundred samples at a time for NPK and trace so that I can tell (even if post facto) what was going on.
