High temperatures, high transpiration, high turgor pressure, and lots of cell elongation. Cannabis plants can sense and respond to their surroundings. They don't have brains like humans, but they have evolved sophisticated ways to perceive and react to various environmental cues, including light, gravity, touch, water, sound, and even the presence of other plants. This ability, known as plant perception, allows them to adjust their growth, defend themselves, and even communicate with each other. Infrared light, particularly near-infrared (NIR), can influence plant growth and development by impacting various processes including initiation and elongation. UVB radiation inhibits stem and hypocotyl elongation in plants. Moderate UV-B exposure can cause a decrease in stem and leaf elongation, leading to a more compact plant architecture. Higher UV-B intensities, like 7.5 kJ·m−2, can lead to reduced elongation. So it becomes a dance of initiating a stretch to seek to higher ppfd, then whenever you want the stretching to slow down,UVB inhibits the stretch by altering hormone balance,, coupled with the high-intensity dli once you get her to a height where you want. Being autos I don't have much time to play around. So we are playing fast and loose, get stretched, and then spread her open. You get the idea. 86F 30% RH with the lower side of optimal on ppfd, with a smudgering of infra-red to initiate response of making her stretch more so than normal. Once she sprouts up in height, I drop metrics to 77F 55%RH% while upping the ppfd, giving her a dash of extra 430nm, giving the grow more of a 6000K. This encourages denser growth with less elongation. Higher side of optimal PPFD, with the auxin hormone balance changed, the side stems are starting to shoot up to the same canopy level as the apex (almost). Normally takes me 2 untrained toppings before a plant will flatten its canopy. I didn't take enough off the apex to do it in one chop, it was only day 10, so there really wasn't much to top from without creating unpredictable results using fim, opted just to keep it to a clean topping. Even predictability over the Chaos of the"Fim". Brainfart: Remember, the veg stage creates the skeleton that will stretch out into flowers. How dense you create the skeleton through light intensity will determine the density of your clusters as they form cola, as long as you can keep up with the demands. Increasing light intensity generally leads to plants having shorter internodal spacing, meaning the distance between nodes (where leaves grow) on a stem is reduced. Hello Canna Fam, So the end of week 8 has arrived and the ladies have started to bud up😎 I did a bit of defoliation last night to the Six Shooter and the Girl Scout Cookies as they were very bushy. Hopefully I wasn’t too heavy handed with the plucking and the growth does not slow down too much. The LSD-25 and the Gorilla Cookies are the most developed in terms of bud size and trichomes production but the Girl Scout Cookies is closing in nicely. This week I transplanted my little Strawberry Banana girl to a Big Girl Bed-LOL. Seriously though, I transplanted her to a large garden bed as opposed to 5 gallon pots like I usually do. I wanted to give this plant all the room she need to grow her very best. I'm curious to see if having a larger grow area will produce a larger plant. I am thinking more room for the roots to expand. My plant did not grow very much in height but the width of the leaves did grow. Weather has been very nice here this week.

ok so everything has gone fantastic , no nutrient burns at all , and have been slowly creeping up the base nutrients , i have stopped the cal mag and now adding house and gardens bud XL at full strength these girls are now in full swing of flower and i bought a new ph stick this week , i have found when PHing the feed bucket that its best too have air stones in the bucket , add all nuts and then ph but do not use the feed that day as if you check the next day the ph is off again so i left it 24 hours after i add more ph down , and it seems too make the measurements alot easier and stable , i have bent down the main stems " without damaging them onto my netting too A keep the canopy all the same high so my lighting is covering all plants at the same distance and also it allowed the side stems too reach up too , i also was sponsored another new led light by kingbo this week so have added another 600watt led too the grow , so now have two 600's and one 900watt , and temps are still fine sitting at 24c lights on and 19-20 off , so am pleased with that , this lady is by far the bushyist plant with the most branches she also didn't stretch much and is packed with bud sites ,

The stretch continues, grew another 5", looking good. Plant seems fine and all is well. Will do a defoliation the end of the week. Cheers

7/4 SUN was poking out a little bit. Plants loved that little feeding and seen to he noticeable larger this morning. I'm considering starting the nutes. At least the organic ones as well as upping the water intake I've been scared to water with all this rain and my experience last time. I plan on applying BT this afternoon and doing some work on the bottoms of the plants. I also saw a chipmunk in my cage so I have some spots in my fence that need to be patched. I know I can't compare this year to orher years as these are seeds and all the other years were clones. I CAN say for certain that my plants are healthiest they've been out of any of my journals. Previous plants were much larger but I was fighting numerous fungal, pathogens and pests at the sane time. Ear wigs would've lollipopped most buddies by now but I've seen no sign of them. I'm going to apply more poison where they were and add some rat traps inside the cage for the chipmunks. Once I fix the cage I think I'll be good. UPDATE: Went back over and fixed the holes on my cage from high winds. I found an old wire trap or cage and just cut sections and ziptied them to the existing wire and to the structure thus covering any open holes. I'll need to put lathes aroubdvtge outside because if a rodent REALLY wanted in they could get in. My belt had been wearing thin but I use shit until it breaks (yesterday the heal came off my shoe lol) so I was working hard sweating my nuts off and my belt gives out totally. At least ive got the major stuff done. I took a few videos too. I'm imagining it was this little bit of sun that gave these plants that boost of growth but I'm wondering if the added nutes had anything to do with it. Bags weren't light and I could feel moisture in the soil so I didn't water. I'll check again tomorrow morning. Since I didn't see many plants or even leaves for that matter with damage I decided to hold off ob the BT and the plant doctor. Only time will tell if that was the right decision. 7/5 Plants look fantastic. I see a few more holes in leaves sporadically amd I'm hoping it's pillars. I WOULDVE DONE IT TODAY IF THE TEMPS WERENT SO HIGH. ITS RAINED A MONTH STRAIGHT SO I HAVENT HAD TO WATER. I MADE A COUPLE VIDEOS BUT I'LL HAVE TO UPLOAD TOMORROW. 7/6 Another super hot day. I hefted the pots and they still had some weight but I could tell they were dry. This rain has messed up my watering schedule. Well it made it so I didn't NEED to water. These are big plants now. I need to get a schedule to stick too. They're going to probably need a gallon a piece at least. I'm still nervous watering. Right now I'm just reading the plants. I added .5tsp kelp me/you to 1 gallon of water to help with heat stress. I fed an additional two gallons to the garden this morning including the two container plants in the back. They were dry on top too but I know they have water deeper down. Next watering I'll be more consistent and try to give them there 10%. It's great having the bags elevated. I can finally see when I start getting run off. I could even measure the ph of it instead of relying on that meter. Ill check the ph when I go back over. Still a few 🐛 holes but they are few and far between. I really don't want to spray for such a small problem but if I cant find them at night that's what I'll do. UPDATE: Another 90 degree day. I went back over and gave the garden a gallon of water as they were dry and it didn't rain. Tried to use a soil ph meter to check ph. First couple were 6.4, 6.5 then I got 7.3 and I accidently dropped it. Then I got somethings that were high eights and even one 9! Obviously the Meter shit the bed. I'll lower the ph of the water slightly when I fully water tomorrow and I'm going to measure the runoff. 7/8 I must've messed up the journal again as the dates are off. GAVE PLANTS A FULL WATERING. Each girl got a gallon. I couldn't upload my videos this morning as I had to break up a fight. 3 on 1. Didn't give me a chance to put the videos up. I'll take some stills then I can upload them. THIS DO LESS APPROACH SEEMS TO BE REALLY WORKING. I DODNT SEE NEARLT ENOUGH DAMAGE TO WARRANT SPRAY8NG MY EXTREMELY HEALTHY GIROS WITH ANYTHING. ILL KEEP AN EYE ON THEM AND CLEAN THEM UP A BIT. I DO NEED TO INSTALL THE VERY8CAL TRELLIS FOR SUPPORT. THEYRE PRETTY HEALTHY THOUGH. ONE PLANT IS ABOUT AS WIDE AS IT IS TALL. STILL......PLANTS ARE EXPLODING AND ITS GETTING TIGHT IN THERE. I NEED TO GET THE TRELLIS UP THOUGH. 7/10 I went over and was planning to water. Plants were wet and it's raining. Top of the medium was moist but the bags were light. ONE bag was super light but seeing that we are having showers all day and an additional half inch of rain coming tonight so I didn't water them. Especially since they looked great. Decided to to spray BT yet as the damage is so small and i think the birds have been taking care of the pillars for me. Now I'm wondering if I should've gave that ONE plant a little bit of water but it will be find. Did a video. I'm being careful not to over water. Last year this is when all my buddies were devoured by earwigs. And no senescence like the years before. I think it was hust those earwigs. I haven't lost shot for leaves. Even the stalks are bright green and look amazing.

Los abonos que se ven no se hicieron en el mismo riego esto es parte de la semana 4 se darán en diferentes días siempre regulando a 0.4, primer abono de VEG con Green Grow de Quemanta, en Fin de Semana se pasan a floración y aplicamos estimulantes de floración. Riegos foliares cada 3 días con knactive, esta semana se hicieron 2 defoliaciones en diferentes días debido al rápido crecimiento y ya preparándose para la floración. Se agregará un Ventilador mas para la semana siguiente.

Day one of week 4. Nutes (BioBizz Grow) 50% of recommended dose have gone in today, I will increase the dose to 1ml for the next watering in 2/3 days. Will introduce BioBizz Bloom next week if no Nutes burn this week. Will do some more LST training tomorrow after another full 18 hrs of sun.. UPDATE - 13th September: Day 2 of week 4, gave the girls a very little trim and some more LST today.. New growth coming through nicely.. UPDATE - 14th September: Day 3 of week 4, Nutes (BioBizz Grow) went in today at 1ml per litre. A little more LST and I finally topped the girls 😍.. UPDATE: 16th September: Day 5 of week 4, 3rd lot of BioBizz Grow Nutes at 1ml/l per plant. Pleased with my four ladies progress so far! Peace ✌️🏼 🍃

Good morning, today is day 22 flower ! Nothing much to be reported as everything is on cruise control and there’s basically nothing for me to do anymore but water ! The permafrost buds are getting frosty, stacking amazingly and chucking up while the jungle cookies smell very strong but aren’t stacking as tightly! I’m super happy with how they look! Just continuing to water a gallon every couple days rotating fish shit and silica as usual! Nothing else to report and I’ll see you all next week

Esa familia , ya va quedando menos para cortar estas hermanitas skunk de Zambezaseeds, tienen algo de sobre fertilización de las últimas semanas pero llevamos solo agua 2 semanas. Ph regulado en 6,5 . Humedad por debajo del 40% , temperatura algo alta al trabajar con sodio pues en esta época sube vaya. Así que esto tenemos y las flores se ven bastante compactas. Nos vemos la semana que viene fumetillas.

Let's gooooo. Old school genetics ftw. Looking for pm resistance, anthocyanins production, resin density, bud density and overall leafiness. Edit1: took about 20hrs for the radicle to appear. Let sit is a wet paper towel the next day due to time limitations to setup my pots and soil. Once ready (36hrs) I popped them into 40g of Stonington blend soil, made a hole about 1in deep, and watered 4ml of water over the entire surface of the covered seed. Keeping them between 65-72 Stonington blend seems like it has more perlite this year. The old mix was pretty hygroscopic so I'm glad they made the change. Wish the price was cheaper because it also feel like it's less dense which to me means more peat and less heavy organic material. I'd be interested to soil test them against each other. .

Questa settimana come è andata? Hehehehe è andata a meraviglia!!! LEI E SEMPLICEMENTE PERFETTA!!! cresce sempre di più le cime si ammassano e diventano sempre più dure! I colori sono stupendi e il profumo di limone mi ha invaso la villa!!! La struttura della pianta e veramente robusta ovviamente dopo un lst molto scrupoloso! Veramente una grande bella signora! Rimango sempre meravigliato con i semi di fast buds, veramente secondo me e la più valida di tutti! Ho visto i tricomi con il mio lumagny 100x e sono ancora bianco/trasparenti e si ammassano sempre di più! Deduco altre 2-3 settimane penso di fare un ultima settimana di nutrimenti e poi via con il flush! Laverò le radici per almeno 10 giorni, voglio un fumo morbido e deciso!
