Hi all, sorry for the delay, all continues to go very well, she is handling the nutrients very well wit only a very little tip burn. I increased the light a little bit, as I felt that some of the main colas on the side didn't get enough light. Next week I will probably be able to show the little veg-box I built, since the cuttings are slowly outgrowing their current home.

Welcome to week 3! The last few plants that weren't topped should be ready fairly soon. Only 2 of the plants have bugs as far as I could tell but all of them will be treated just in case. Insecticide applications will be recorded as ~X. I will apply it as a spray on the foliage and over the top of the soil, the issue is relatively small now so I don't see the need to fully water with it - 07/09/23 7:58pm. The leaves are getting noticeably bigger after topping and supplementing! Haven't seen any more bugs either so far - 07/10/23 7:01pm. I saw a bug or two in some of the pots so I used a little bit more mammoth - 07/11/23 9:20pm. Some of the leaves on the bottom were yellowing and some spots are appearing on some of the more developed leaves as well. I clipped the lower leaves that were yellow, I believe it's most likely calcium deficiency. I added some Pesticide to the water for tonight as the bugs won't go away and I was only doing some spraying on the top soil until now. On the positive side they seem to be overcoming the stress of the topping extremely well and the double stems are growing strong - 07/15/23 8:00pm. ~W - Water ~SW - Supplemented Water ~X - Pesticide

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Overall a giant disappointment, the Fast Flower FF was an Autoflower AF, Its put me off fast flowers and really whats one week when you grow indoors for an early harvest. Not something that's in my list of things I need. The smell of the plant is nice, basic weed scents, nice and sticky and full of crystals. Will see what happens in cure once it finishes drying. It made a weird nub of plant at the base of its stalk. have not seen that before, IDK what it was/means. 2/3 of the plants are starting to fade. Middle pheno is showing deficiencies. It’s a toss up between pheno 1 and 3 . And a strong question about whether I want to keep this strain going. Robinhood Seeds, you have disappointed me greatly.

30.12.24: So I finally became brave enough last night to use LST on my grow for the first time. Watermelon 🍉 is doing much better than the other plants were at this stage, and still better than one that's 7 weeks old already! I'm very pleased with this strain and phenotype so far. As I've implemented the LST much earlier for her, I'm very excited to see what happens in the next couple of weeks 😃 Thanks for checking out my diary 🙂🍃✌️

Hey! Welcome to week 9 for Karen! Week 8 is now complete so please go and check it out 🙏. Big week last week... massive. Day 57: Fertigated 6l. Height 40cm. Day 58: Scent has stepped up again and I'm noticing some of bud sites starting to develop frost. Day 58.5 Flushed with 20l of PH & CalMag. Day 59: reorganised tent Day 60: Fertigated 3l. Karen has put on a load of frost in the last 24h. I mean seriously. Smell stepped up again. Height 44cm. Day 60.5: I have had a really good look at other KKA grows. I think Karen is going to need a few extra weeks. I think she will be ready for harvest in about week 14. So I think we have about another 4-5 weeks to go. Day 61: Adjusted the LST a bit. She's frosting rapidly now. 😍😍🤩 Height 45cm. Width: 60cm x 70cm Day 61.5: It is only 8 days since I *heavily* defoliated and I think I probably should do it again already. Things are progressing well at the moment though so I am trying to resist doing it too soon. She is still stretching. Day 61.75: Right, I have done some research and I have made a decision,. I'm going to give Karen 2 full weeks from the last defoliation on day 53, so on day 67 (i.e half way through next week) I will defoliate and perform final LST just to space out the colas a bite more at the "top" of the plant. This week marks her third week in flower, and she’s already showing beautiful bud formation from top to bottom. Despite her compact size, she’s filling in evenly and with excellent structure. What really stands out is the early frost. Resin glands are already visible, sparkling under the light. For such a modest-sized plant, her energy is clearly going into dense flowers and resin production, not stretch. She’s showing her true White Widow heritage, compact, resin-heavy, and vigorous. ⸻ Nutritional Strategy This week, her feeding remains consistent with the established recipe: • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – 0.25 ml/L • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal, Green Sensation – 1 ml/L each But we’ve added something new: • All-in-One Liquid 🌱 This addition is meant to give her a balanced nutrient push during this critical phase. 90th TOTAL GROW DAY 49th BLOOM: Nice smell from both phenos, a sweet fruity one coming from the most purple pair of plants. And an earthy pungent from the foxtailed pheno, can't wait to try them! I'll chop first one in a moment, as I didn't watered it in a pair of days, hope it had enough time to flush and get rid of nutrients. Been growing since 00's and never used any kind of those unfamous flushing products, just be water :) I guess the others will finish in 3-4 days. UPDATE DAY 92th TOTAL GROW, 52th BLOOMING DAY: Been checking trichomes daily and there's a nice balance between cristal, cloudy and amber. No signs of seeds, been checking too during last month the tray and pots at the floor searching for fallen male flowers, easier than keep looking bud by bud under a CMH😎. It's been a pair of weeks flushing nutrients, can appreciate how leaves are expressing the lack of. There's one that turned fan leaves really purple last days , anthocyanins are an evidence on this strain! Let's cut and hang full plants upside down!
