She is flowering more and more each day and getting bigger than I expected haha. I have had to construct a makeshift "scaffold" around the tent so I can hang the light higher. The leaves are now slightly to big for the tent, so I hope she dosent get much bushier. Lots more pistels, and lots more growth, quite happy. # new tent coming 😁

This is more of an equipment gathering project-first grow so I want to keep it simple and budget friendly, I ordered autos for my first grow but Oregon Elite Seeds sent a free gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds. Super psyched for my first grow! Day1. Soaked seeds for 4 hours in bottled water, used paper towel method with 100% sprouts within 18 hours inside dark tent at 80 degrees (heater and air purifier) and 40% humidity. Hoping to plant directly into prepared soil (6.9 ph currently) in 24 hours. Day 2. Planted Critical OG Kush and Blackberry Autos 1/4 directly into 8 gallon cloth pots (these are the wrong pots-they are wax lined but the pandemic made getting the aeration pots unavailable-I may have to transfer later). Very lightly watered. i prepared my soil mix and had it acclamated to the grow room. I opened the air vents at each end of the grow room and set heat to 78, placed a bowl of water for humidity and started oscillating fan for airflow. Planted Gorilla Girl in a tupperware dish till i can get something more suitable. I really need another light but shipping just isn't working out. Day 4: 1 OG Critical was culled do to lack of progress. Gorilla Girl hs been repotted and looks fine. The Blackberry are much leggier than the others at this point. I'm watering just enough to get to the roots with bottled spring water. Day5 : the girls just woke up-posted pics. 1 light and 6 plants is not ideal. I'm not sure if I should put the strain that is naturally shorter under the light directly or focus on the tall ones getting enough light to not stretch. Comments appreciated. Day 6: Ligthts off after a 20 hour on cycle. I was concerned that my light insn't adequate spacially. I dropped it down to 15 inches above the seedling and got it tropical in the tent. I also used a 6500k 15 watt shop light for added light color and they enjoyed it, except for 1 had a bit of yellow. I will post photos when they wake up to see how they look after this light/heat/water boost for 20 hours. My Gorilla Girl is the only one that isn't above 2 inches. That one was planted deeper (1 inch instead of1/4th like the others. I did have some "seed helmets" so next time I will go a little over 1/4 inch deep. Qweeby's roots grew like a wad instead of down. I've had to readjust her placement twice because the roots act like they want to be on the surface. I'm excited to see them in 4 hours. I may cull one and start a different seed. The Blackberry Kush is stretchy which seems nice for a new grower like me. I am trying to limit the stretch so they match the Critical OG height but they are hearty toddlers. Day 7: Added a 3000w LED off ebay. I didn't account for the rise in heat but it only got up to 84. Raised it from 18" to 20" and got more air flowing through. One plant has a little yellowing from the inside of the main leaves (inside to out) but it's barely there so I'm going to check PH meter and easy watering since yesterday I did water more then I have thus far-so it could be a little root lock from too much water.

Week 6 Vegetation - "Ruby's" rate of growth continued to increase near the beginning of the week. As expected, this plant is overtaking the twin plant in terms of growth rate now that the bushy triplicate foundation is developed. Kinda reminds me of the "Tortoise & Hare" story about slow and steady winning the race XD With the nodes stretching and growing quickly, I've started to implement tucking of the larger fan leaves under new and smaller shoots. I find this "new growth priority" method paired with LST really maximizes and speeds up the growth in comparison to an untrained plant. Merely anecdotal though! You'll notice that in the 3rd shot, the nodes stretched out in about 2 days and just ballooned! now that's what I'm talking about! nearing the middle of the week and the rate of growth is fast enough that I can't remember to take enough pictures between the new nodes. At this point I'm tucking new leaves almost daily, making paths for the light to reach new growth tips. By the end of the week, I'll need to start tying the nodes to the side before they stretch too far up. If they stretch too far before tying them, they can be a PITA to tie down later with dense foliage and such. Tying them down before they get to this point also keeps the nutrients moving to the "new side-nodes" from these branches. Eventually these will be just as thick as the original main stalk. Luckily this plant seems to be bulking just as much as stretching - yay! UPDATE: As you can see with the last photos added, the branches are almost even with the original top of the plant that was tied down. I gave them a thorough fertigation the night before, and only slight folding of the leaves so I must have choked the roots a bit, but nothing long term.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Ciao a tutti! Ho finalmente finito il mio primo giro in idroponica. Dunque, al netto dei miei errori che avevo messo in preventivo, è un metodo davvero ottimo per coltivare. Salta subito all'occhio la velocità palese con cui crescono le piante, molto di più rispetto al metodo classico a terra. A suo favore posso anche dire che lascia molto più pulito il box non avendo terra e quant'altro. I vasi da svuotare sono pratici, mi sono segnato però delle tacche per segnare i livelli a diversi litri, da poter capire come fare quando si deve rabboccare di acqua. Le note dolenti. Beh innanzitutto sconsigliato assolutamente a luglio e agosto per via delle temperature, l'acqua nel vaso dovrebbe stare a 22 gradi al massimo, io stavo almeno a 5 in più. Poi, avendo 35 litri d'acqua in 3 vasi e avendo 10 prodotti da utilizzare nella quantità di 2 ml/l, non posso dire che sia la via più economica. Anche se bisogna valutare anche che, soprattutto in vegetativa, si rabboccano i prodotti anche a distanza di 2 settimane,quindi con ampie pause tra una volta e l'altra. Ho sbagliato a calcolare l'allungamento quando le ho girate in fioritura, si sono allungate almeno il doppio di quello che pensavo e così facendo non si sono formati dei bei fiori apicali grossi, ma tanti fiori sulla stessa ramificazione e quindi ci ho rimesso almeno in impatto visivo di sicuro. Però questa è una cosa che dipende dalla velocità dell'idroponica, la prossima volta lo so e mi comporterò di conseguenza. Nota dolente assai: la muffa. Ho sbagliato a volerla fare nel periodo estivo, fa troppo caldo e per mitigare la temperatura ho usato anche l'umidificatore in fioritura. Errore madornale, ho buttato via 60-70 grammi. Già l'estate scorsa ho avuto problemi di temperatura, la prossima sicuramente non coltiverò, sono stato un cretino.

Day 1 - repotting and 1st nutrients feed.little late than usual but they seem fine

Been a busy week getting the new setup going. She has been going really well , first week of flower , interested to see how she goes. She is a nice little plant problem free so far.

Day 10 I started to use the easy plus supplied by RQS, have noticed in the past few days that my intelligent fan doesn’t seem to be turning off in auto on the settings I have pre-installed, I did do a full tent move about on day 11 so I maybe could of done something then? hope this doesn’t turn into a long term issue, however fat banana is starting to grow nicely 🌱👍 I have a 2x2x5 spider farmer tent with 1 passive inlet vent that is always a 1/4 open My spider farmer intelligent fan is set at 80f and rh @ 60 for veg, I have a 6” fan that was set to go off every 30 minutes for 30 minutes on the hour during daylight hours and once for 30 mins every 90 mins during dark hours, that has changed slowly during the week to a point where yesterday I turned on constant during daylight hours and still at 30 mins every 2 hrs during the night and I am still using the personal mist humidifier that keeps the rh at a nice level anyway during this stage… My Viparspectra xs1500 was set at 22” at the beginning of the week at 60% this has changed throughout the week and is now set at 19” and around 87% My feeding pattern has been feed/water/dry day…repeat at 250ml Lights on 8am Lights off 2am Water/feed time 8:30am/9:30am *update 29th April: I have stopped using the Biobizz products in this grow, after properly reading up on all RQS products supplied and realising I’ve already mixed the easy boost pellets in the soil I’ve no need to use these products…hopefully this hasn’t affected my grow thus far, I don’t see any deficiencies as yet and don’t seem to be in a bad shape, she’s actually the tallest plant so far I’ve had in this stage 🤞

Aggiornamento: Ieri sera ho effettuato topping su tutte e tre le piantine, in giornata inizierò LST per riuscire ad esporre il più possibile alla luce le foglie tra gli internodi! Ultimo aggiornamento: Ormai e quasi finita anche la 3°settimana, ho iniziato LST da un paio di giorni, ho notato che le prime foglioline presentano delle piccole macchie marroni ma credo che sia normale considerando che si tratta delle foglie più vecchie.. Per il resto le piantine sembrano in ottima salute!💪

Middle 2 plants stretched a lot week 3 of flower. They were growing slower in veg so I flipped to flower as soon as their canopy reached the net (barely LST these 2 plants with the net given their slower growth). Then week 2-3 of flower they took off. Did some defoliating to expose bud sites further down with the intent to increase yeilds.

Vamos familia que ya actualizamos la cosecha de estas zkittelz de Mafia seeds. Vaya flores que se han marcado repletas de tricomas, parecen escarcha y las flores se marcan aromas bien dulces. Es una variedad bastante fácil de cultivar pero al tener un periodo de floración algo más largo, hay que estar pendiente de alimentarlas bien, gracias Agrobeta en mi sala es posible. Temperaturas máximas en 24 y mínimas en 20 y una humedad estable en torno al 36%. Las mantuve 10 semanas, ya las vi bien maduras y ya tenía tricomas ambar así que les di matarile. Dia 91 la 4 semana de floración , la 1051 va mucho mas avanzada que las demás, hay algun problema con la mosca blanca aunque ya hemos pedido depredadores para combatir con ella de manera biologica, la Glow Starz y la White Noise van mucho mas atrasadas aunque se ven mucho mejor
