Week 9 - flushing begins. Week 8 went well, the buds packed on weight and density, as the branches are sagging and twisting from the weight of the buds. This girl is incredibly sticky and very sweet and earthy smelling.

01/15/24 - 13.5 - Veg - Pre Flower - Light defoliation - Nute feeds have increased to once a day - with 1 gallon clean water feeds (1.5 gallons) daily*

Day 64 - The beginning of week 10 and started off with 2 gallons of plain pH’d water. I think I waited a day later than I should of cause she was pretty droopy and dried out but seems to of recovered. I ended up tying down a couple of the really long branches to keep her even and seems to of evened up the canopy a bit. Day 65 - Did a bit of defoliating on the lower end of her today, mainly to remove some dying leaves. Since I’ve got 3 flowering plants in the tent right now, I don’t think everything is getting the right light coverage so I’ve got another AGLEX “1200W” COB LED that should be here tomorrow so hopefully I’ll have enough light coverage and penetration from here on out. Day 66 - She’ll be ready for another round of water, 2 gallons worth tomorrow, she’s almost dry. Other than that, not much had to be done with her today. As will all the girls in the tent, I’m trying to figure out how to get my temps down. The AC is out in the house and hoping with some cooler temps moving in, it’ll help cool it down. Day 67 - Nothing new today other than she was very dry so she got her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water, next will be a feeding of nutes. Day 68 - No major updates and issues going on right now. Just got some updated pictures and tucked some leaves, also removed a couple of yellow leaves at the bottom. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and she got a feeding of water and nutes today. She’s starting to fill in nicely but still a few weeks away from harvest.

so far fully satisfied. the plant looks strong and a nice color. the first hairs are noticed. I notice signs of some parasites on the leaves, up to now I have only found about 2-3 small spiders clearly visible to the naked eye, and perhaps some other specimens of whiteflies. I accept advice on how to prevent an infestation in the best way.

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. This grow has been sooooo easy apart from a slight bit of nutrient burn that you can see, she has been a pleasure to grow, she is taking longer than expected but i wouldnt have her any other way lol. Ive noticed that the pistils really turn bright orange even red 😁- i hope she tastes and smells as citrusy as she looks😝 - also getting frosty 👍 Merry Christmas Everyone!!😉

Day 12 of organic grow and all is well. Seemed to have dialed in the conditions and able to keep good air movement, CO2 levels, and consistent temperatures/humidity with the ThruWall Closet Fan (Model TW108 ), and the Holmes Twin Exhaust/Intake Fan (Model HAWF-2041). Humidity is maintained with a Lovoit 6L Ultrasonic Programmable Cool Mist Humidifier (Model# LV600HH). Added a SCROG screen (just a cargo net) and bought the Sample Pack of organic nutrients from Nectar for the Gods (just pay shipping and they will send you the sample nutrients - check out the website). People say their line of nutrients make the buds smell and taste like no other! I have always been an organic Earth Juice nutrient guy, so I am going to experiment with combining the two. Lights are on 24/0 and she has tight internodal spacing with good vertical growth. Room that closet is in is beginning to smell skunky at times, and like diesel at other times. I don't think it too well to the heat/downpours - something clearly went wrong early in the flowering stage.

Day 46. Will update more on next week. Too many work at same time, filling diaries is last thing on my mind now ... Girls are somewhere in the middle, far from biggest, but very nice and healthy. This week has been another good week, fed a little cal mag to the girls and so shall see how they do with this and done some more LST, slowly but surely getting there only a few more weeks now until harvest time :) belle is the height they are at the minute.
