With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

The Bruce Banner girls had a strong week! 💪 #1 is still the biggest plant in the tent and looks super happy. She handled the LST perfectly and keeps stretching nicely 🔥. #2 is catching up and growing more balanced now. #3 has finally found her rhythm and started growing normally 🙌. Both #2 and #3 are now showing their first pistils, so they’ve officially entered the flowering stage 🌸. This week all three received a watering with Green House Bio Enhancer, and aside from that, just RO water + CalMag (Advanced Nutrients) 💧. No issues or signs of deficiency, leaves are lush green and healthy across the board 🌿. They’re growing in the 90×90 tent with the AC Infinity AI setup and Spider Farmer SE5000, keeping everything dialed in: 25–26 °C, 60 % RH, and around 500–600 µmol/m²/s PPFD 🌡️. Overall, #1 remains the queen of the tent 👑, while #2 and #3 are catching up as they ease into early flower. Excited to see them start stacking buds soon! ✨

Ghost Train Haze — Week 11 from Seed (Week 7 Flower) 12/12 from seed — no veg, no limits. She didn’t ask for permission. She just kept going. ⸻ Quick Recap — How We Got Here This run was never about controlling size. It was about channeling energy. Straight into 12/12 from seed. No vegetative phase to stretch her intentions— just a direct line from seed → structure → flower. And still… she chose to become a 1.8m tower. That tells you everything about the genetics. Stable environment. Consistent feeding. No interruptions, no panic moves. We didn’t push her. We kept up with her. ⸻ Week 7 Flower — Controlled Chaos At this stage, she’s fully expressing: – Vertical dominance – Long, stacked flower sites – Increasing density without losing structure – And that frost… building fast now She’s not just tall— she’s productive across the entire column. And the smell? Louder every day. Sharper. More complex. This is where Ghost Train starts to feel like Ghost Train. ⸻ Feeding & Parameters — Why These Numbers We’re running: – EC: ~2.9 – pH: 6.5 And yes—this is intentional. At this stage, demand is high. She’s not just building flowers, she’s maintaining a massive structure while doing it. The higher EC supports: – Sustained nutrient availability – Strong flower development – Continued metabolic activity at scale And the pH at 6.5 keeps nutrient uptake balanced in soil: – Phosphorus & potassium availability optimized – Micronutrients still accessible – No locking out key elements during peak demand Nothing extreme. Just aligned with what she’s asking for. ⸻ VPD — Leaf vs Room (Why 26°C / 60% Works Here) On paper, 26°C and 60% RH might look high for late flower. But here’s the nuance: – Room VPD is one thing – Leaf VPD is another With strong lighting and active transpiration, leaf temperature often runs slightly higher than ambient. That shifts the actual working VPD into a more optimal range than numbers alone suggest. So while the room reads: – 26°C – 60% RH The plant is effectively operating in a comfortable transpiration zone, not a risky one. This is why context matters more than charts. ⸻ About the “Delay” — Sativa Expression She’s a Haze. So yes—compared to others in the room, she appears “slower.” But let’s be clear: This isn’t delay. This is genetic pacing. And honestly? For a Haze under 12/12 from seed… She’s actually ahead of where you’d expect her to be. That early flowering trigger shortened the stretch window and pushed her into production sooner. Without it? She wouldn’t be 1.8m. She’d be… a problem 😄 ⸻ What We’re Seeing Now – Frost production accelerating noticeably – Buds forming along the entire height – Structure holding surprisingly well for her size – Aroma intensifying into that sharp, hazy profile She’s not finished. Week 10 Flower — The Beauty Before the Finish This week marks a very special chapter in the Eternity Grow Cup. As we approach harvest, the garden is simply glowing with beauty. Every corner, every canopy, every branch tells a story — and this week, I’ve taken the time to slow down and capture that story as best I can through the lens of my camera. All the photos you’ll see in this update were taken with care and intention. I use my Sony camera in full manual focus mode, and I don’t just snap and go — I spend time with each plant, each angle, waiting for that perfect moment when everything aligns. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. I do not delete my teas and let the plant pots dry out slightly before feeding. I try to do this weekly - as we get further into the growth during the flowering stage I will add DTE Seagull Guano increasing the phosphorus. They are doing well in overcoming the transplant into plastic pots. The pH is still a concern and messing things up from a nice normal feeding pattern. They are nice and green though and will work through this all because they are healthy overall. They are a fair bit larger at the end of the week than they were at the start of the week😀 GSC flushed hard at the start of the week to help combat the pH which is still high. She was given over 40L to help lower. Sorry Fast Buds.......grower not setting this one on fire😞 Little more detail coming....... May 9/20 - Day 29 - 2L given to each girl with Massive, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, CalMag, Piranha, Voodoo, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml = 1000ppm and 5.1pH - Runoff numbers today: - GSC - 330ppm and 7.2pH - GSC2 - 335ppm with 7.2pH - the pH is not coming down as I expected.....WTF????? - flushed GSC in evening - GSC given first 18L at 5.6pH and next 16L at 4.7pH - run off only came down to 6.2 with 100ppm May 10/20 - Day 30 - 2L feeding for GSC girl with VeloKelp, Vitathrive @ 2ml, CalMag, Dual Fuel, Piranha @ 1ml = 650ppm and 4.4pH - let the pH low in feed as well, - GSC is 7” tall now. - GSC2 was not fed. May 11/20 - Day 31 - each girl given 1.5L of feed with VeloKellp, Rezin, Liquid Wt @ 1ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml = 900ppm and 4.3pH - GSC2 has been a couple of days so she soaked up all the water. She is perky today....not bigger though - GSC is getting taller adn wider. He is looking really wide today. May 12/20 - Day 32 - dry out day - left them alone today May 13/20 - Day 33 - day out day - pots are still heavy. - giving them a second day off. May 14/20 - Day 34 - mixed 7L water with Massive @ 3m, Rezin @ 2ml, Liquid Wt, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml, Rhino Skin, CalMag @ 1ml = 1075ppm and 5.3pH. - GSC was given 4L - runoff was 275ppm and 6.5pH - GSC2 was given 3L - runoff was 300ppm and 6.5pH - Things seem to be okay with the numbers.........pH is still a little high though. - GSC had lower growth trimmed to clean her up. - Starting silica today with Rhino Skin to help firm up the branches. - GSC2 is very small and she is set over to one side of the pot........no LST needed😂 May 15/20 - Day 35 - dry out day - tips are not up 100% so we keep working at it👍😃

Hi, La sénescence se fait naturellement du fait d’une légère carence en N, j’ai quand même ajouté du Power Clean pour l’accélérer et améliorer encore plus le goût et l’odeur. Les couleurs violettes se propagent petit à petit vers le bas de la #2, et très légèrement sur la #1, comme des reflets. La puissance du panneau LED a été abaissé sur 55% La floraison est prévu pour 7-8 semaines et pourtant j’en suis à 10, sûrement du à la carence post stretch qui a ralentit la floraison et réduit le rendement ; J’ai observé les trichromes le 28/10, ils sont presque tous laiteux et les premiers ambrés arrivent doucement.. A la semaine prochaine 👋

7/28/21: Week 7 and we found a few beans 😑, apparently we didn't remove the hermi in time but it's not too bad, we can live with a few seeds (it looks like maybe 5% if the plant)...its an interesting cross for sure lol (Green Crack x GDP).. she's still way too dark imo despite having cut all nutrients well over a week ago.. we may flush her this week and just continue the rest of the grow with only water...thanks for reading!! Will update mid week 🐱❤️💡🌱 ... 8/01/21: Trichomes are getting cloudy and the leaves are finally starting to lighten in color.. maybe 1-2 more weeks left before she comes down..we're really excited to try this strain!🐱

This has been such a long journey, finally starting to see some real stack up. I started my first photoperiod grow with 3 strains. This OG Kush and Sour Diesel from RQS, and a land race Afghani strain from Zamnesia. The OG Kush came inside a month ago to make room on my tiny deck for the Christmas tree Afghani out on the porch. The Afghani is over 7 feet tall and frosty stacking hard, picture labeled. The Sour Diesel grew far too big for a tiny suburban deck, she got chopped and relocated. I hope i made the right decisions, regardless man is this growing FUN!
