Flipped to flower this week. Experimenting with the short veg from seed. Fingers crossed they bounce.

This was a brilliant plant, it kinda stunted a little bit, but that was my fault. It was so beautiful during flower, and the smell is not like weed at all, but more like juicy fruit chewing gum. Amazing and smooth to smoke as well.

Harvest week for Auto Mintz arrived around week 14-15, with the two plants hitting about 90 cm and sporting sticky buds. The air carried a sharp, minty scent, and the trichomes had turned mostly milky with a few amber flecks – time to cut. Watering stopped a couple of days before, and on harvest day, the buds were trimmed carefully, yielding a modest but satisfying 140 grams dry from both plants. They dried over a week in a dark, ventilated spot at 20-22°C and 45-50% humidity, keeping their fresh aroma. It was a straightforward process with a decent outcome for the effort.

Pineapple express auto 17weeks

Eventful yet easy week. After putting eVE into flower mode she began to grow again very fast. I have tried to keep humidity in the high 40's and have done random CO2 enrichment. The roots have been doing well so far after the pruning two weeks ago. Would like to see the branches get thicker. The first pistil showed up today and made me happy that it came up so fast.

8th week , 4th of flora They are tall, strong and healthy Using the same fert proportions as vegetative stage. They reached 77cm tall

SUMMARY: Due to time constraints I decided in the end to make this the last week. I checked the trichs on both plants and the Amnesia now has plenty of amber heads and the OG now also has some albeit much less. Though all trichs are at least milky with the exception of the rare clear head or 2. I did a quick flush watering with rain water only on Monday, Tues, and Thursday then left to dry until Saturday when I chopped them down. DAY 92 -------- Thursday 03/12/2020 I fed the plants. GWE 04/2020 updated schedule Week 9 Late Bloom nutes for the OG and then the Sensi Garden Peak nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.5 OG (out) = 0.6L (11%) pH 5.6 [0.9 drop] Amnesia (in) = 3.5L pH 6.4 Amnesia (out) = 1.6L (46%) pH 5.8 [0.6 drop] If my eyes don't deceive me it would appear that the Amnesia is finally starting to pack on some weight! Hopefully both will have a decent yield in 2 weeks time. The RH has been at 45-48% for the last week and the temps are consistent at 24°C and so we're right on track. DAY 94 -------- Saturday 05/12/2020 I fed the plants though gave the amnesia less volume as it doesn't need it. GWE 04/2020 updated schedule Week 9 Late Bloom nutes for the OG and then the Sensi Garden Peak nutes for the Amnesia. OG (in) = 5.5L pH 6.4 OG (out) = 0.4L (8%) pH 5.3 [1.1 drop] Amnesia (in) = 3L pH 6.2 Amnesia (out) = 1L (33%) pH 5.6 [0.6 drop] The OG is drinking more and more and both plants are definitely starting to pack on some weight now and I'm very excited. DAY 95 ------ Sunday 06/12/2020 I checked the trichs on both plants and its a good job I did as the Amnesia has plenty of amber heads (possibly upwards of 30% its very hard to confirm tbh as the usb microscope is handheld and so VERY sensitive to movement - it took me best part of 30mins to get enough clear shots for me to decide the Amnesia is done). I took shots of both trichs using my usb microscope but as its cheap and the app is freeware it is awful and so just clumps all your pics together and not in any particular order, or at least not in the order they were taken and so after spending 30mins+ taking pics I don't know which are from which plant! But both have amber trich heads showing though the OG doesn't have as many as the Amnesia as expected. I wasn't going to do a flush after doing some research and seeing that its a controversial topic over whether there is any benefit and my rationale being that I'd rather the buds be as big as possible and so it made sense to feed up until chop. However I changed my mind after not being able to find a reputable source that claims flushing is not beneficial plus the general consensus is that you absolutely must flush if using synthetic nutes which I am. I will flush from now until Friday and then chop on Saturday or Sunday. DAY 96 -------- Monday 07/12/2020 I watered with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. DAY 97 -------- Tuesday 08/12/2020 I watered with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. DAY 99 -------- Thursday 10/12/2020 This should technically be week 15 as of today but as I'm chopping on Saturday its just not worth creating another flowering week in this diary. I watered both plants for the last time today, both with rainwater (pH between 6.2-6.4) giving the OG 6L and the Amnesia 5L to ensure plenty of runoff. I will now let the plants dry out until harvest which will be on Saturday 12th. I have also knocked the lights off to leave them in darkness now until chop which gives them roughly 40 hours of darkness as advised by many. Apparently the darkness can somehow increase the potency though it seems this is another controversial topic and one I haven't done enough research on and so have decided to do so as all the tutorials/guides/diaries I've read do 12-72 hours of darkness before chop. If I don't chop this weekend then I'll be pushing it if I want another harvest before I go away next year. If this wasn't the case I would let these run until the Amnesia was about 50% or more amber to give the OG time to catch up as the OG genetics are much superior to the Amnesia.

Day 105- her last day on earth. I thank her for what she is about to give us. I saw scattered amber trichomes so decided it was time. I am very excited about this harvest. I think she is going to be top quality. Her flowers are dense, heavy and large 😍 What a pleasure she has been this far. Give her plenty of light, a big pot, don't overdo it on the nutrients and this is what she gives me. I didn't even train her at all! The wires are to support her branches before they snapped off due to weight.

Both laide are growing super well. One is taller but second one is more bush on sides. So far Im very happy grwoing this strain and both ladies just growing so nice

No fertilizer this week. I harvested the Apricot and the Pound Cake. I will wait one more week for the Orange Sherbet because it doesn't seem ready even if it's in the Fast Buds harvest range. This week should be the last "flowering" week, next ones will be the harvests. I don't want to add another flowering week just for the Orange Sherbet, there will be nothing to see that will not be included in the harvest. During half of the grow, the weather was really bad, especially for the summer period. The worst weather was during the vegetative phase. The plants didn't receive enough light which resulted in poor roots and leaves development. Because of that, the plants didn't have the chance to grow nice buds even if the sun was there during most of the flowering phase. Last summer, I grew a Tropicana Cookies (also from Fast Buds) in a tiny pot at the exact same spot and had better results despite the smaller pot. I didn't record the sun for that year but the weather was better from what I remember. I'm disapointed by the weather but cannot blame the plants. You cannot expect beautiful plants and buds if they don't have light 😞 In the end, my summer grows are more like bonus grows (my main grows are under a light in the winter) and I make them just for fun and to be able to taste new weeds without too much investment. Auto Maxi Gom is starting to make progress. She was treated with neem a week ago. Spots stopped, so I believe it was a mite issue. They appear to be gone at the moment. Hopefully they don't find their way back. Things are looking good at the moment. Surprised by how well the water is wicked to the medium from the water bottle, it took a long time, but wick works as intended. I was unsure how much if any nutrient would be transferred via wick but the high salt content altered pH at certain parts. Right before the symptoms arose I decided to supercrop the stem top to bottom on one plant, shortly thereafter the burning happened from the same plant from running 8.0 pH, and nutrient uptake ground to a halt on the plant that was dealing with stress. She doesn't seem happy. Remedied with aluminum sulfate, things seem to be coming back to normal. I need to be more careful with salts. I need MOAR knowledge. How many weeks shall we veg? Going to take a while to fill that canopy with just two plants, should probably start topping now but I'll wait until pH problem Is remedied first, a couple more days hopefully 🙏. I defoliated maybe 6 bigger leaves that had burned yellow on one plant, as it comes back to optimal range, this will be a good opportunity to observe the subtle differences that early defoliation can make. Added a pound of tourmaline powder and biochar, both increase soil urease and invertase activities. *2025 Didn't charge the biochar skewing my ph drastically. Urease is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydrolysis of urea into CO2 and NH3 and is a key component in the nitrogen cycle in soils. Invertase (d-fructofuranosidfructohydrolase, EC 3.2.1.26) is the enzyme that capable both break down α-1,4-glycosidic linkage between d-glucose and d-fructose of sucrose and transferring αβ-D-O-fructofuranoside residue to an acceptor substrate (Toledo et al., 2019). Since tourmaline is widely distributed in the natural environment and has many excellent physical and chemical properties including radiating far infrared energy, permanently releasing negative ions, producing an electrostatic field, releasing rare microelements, and stimulating the growth and metabolism of microorganisms and plants, tourmaline had been conducted to alleviate potential environmental pollution. Perfect for how much seaweed I've added just incase.
