Eternity Grow Cup - Week 11 VEG Report This is a pivotal week in our Eternity Grow Cup journey as we wrap up VEG and prepare to transition into FLOWER. Our goal has been to ensure that the plants are thriving and optimized for the next phase. This report will detail everything that took place during this crucial week. Mass Defoliation & Structural Training We began the week with an extensive defoliation session. Every leaf with a stem was removed to clear space for optimal light penetration and airflow. This process was done mostly by hand, clicking them off in the opposite direction of growth, while some stubborn ones were snipped with scissors. By the end, it felt like we had taken out nearly half a kilo of leaves! The room now looks clean, structured, and ready to fill out the ScroggNet. To further enhance the plant structure, branches were attached to the pots, allowing for better horizontal growth. This technique helps maximize canopy exposure and prepares the plants for even light distribution once flowering begins. Defoliation before flowering is a key step as it reduces overcrowding, improves airflow, and sets the plants up for efficient energy use in the next phase. Light Schedule & Adjustments This week, we introduced a subtle but effective light adjustment. While still maintaining an 18-hour light cycle, we initiated a 15-minute delay with the whites, allowing the reds to start first. This gradual shift signals the plants that a change is coming. Similarly, at the end of the light cycle, the whites turn off 15 minutes earlier, leaving the reds on for an extended period. This strategy mimics natural sunrise and sunset, helping the plants transition more smoothly into flowering. Additionally, at the end of the week, we will be implementing 48 hours of darkness before the official flip to flower. This method has worked exceptionally well in past grows, helping plants recognize the transition and encouraging a strong start to flowering. However, it's important to emphasize that this is a personal technique and not a universal rule. Every grower should experiment with different methods to find what works best for their specific environment. Environmental Conditions & Challenges Currently, our temperature is at 27°C with 60% humidity, resulting in a VPD of 1.50. While slightly higher than the ideal for VEG, our CO2 levels are over 1000 ppm, and the light intensity is at 570 PPFD, making it a manageable balance. The solution pH is 5.79 (essentially 5.8), EC is 1.38, and water temperature is 17.7°C. One challenge we are facing is maintaining optimal reservoir temperatures. Currently, it's a bit low at 17.7°C, and we are exploring solutions to raise it slightly. However, the medium temperature sits at 22.2°C, which is a good range. The humidifier is still in use, though it struggles to increase humidity further, so we are working with what we have to keep the VPD in check. ICL-300s Integration The ICL-300 lights are now fully active. Unlike the last grow, where we introduced them later, this time they are on from the start of flowering prep. This adjustment is an experiment to see if the plants respond better to an early introduction. Learning is at the core of this journey, and each grow offers new insights. Whether this proves to be the optimal strategy or not, it will be a valuable lesson for future grows. Flipped to 12/12 at day 43. Raised light-intensity from 60 to 90 %. Now +70% of the net is filled and i can see potential to make it an evenly shaped bowl full of fruits:-) The deep, dark colour has turned to a juicy green, shoots everywhere....... everything fine but two little things: 1) run-off-pH is a bit high...... 6.6-6.9. will feed rather acidic next time.... 2) Main Colas get a bit tall..... will supercrop them as soon, as the rest of the cannopy is organzied to a clean scrog. Nutritionwise i lowered N, raised K and gave an extra P-shot (0,05 g/L BLOSSOM-BOOST) on days 43 and 44. Day 45 fed pH 5.8 - readings immediatly dropped to 6.3 to 6.5 👍 Vigorous stretch.....!!! Mounted some more hooks to get the scrog even - works perfectly now! +80% of the net is filled......and the colas in the corner almost make plants of their own - i will supercrop them, as soon as they don't stretch any more. Day 46 fed pH 6.1 today..... readings still good (average 6.4) took out some more leafs today, to give a little more light to young shoots. Smell is getting stronger, but no visible signs of flowering yet.

Hello folks Havest Day 53 of flowering ( Life cycle 93 days ) Drying with 59% RH--17/18°C since about 10 Days it's the start for curing. Overall everything went well I learned a lot, and I must be close to 0.7 G / W which is good in my opinion. 6 Plant was way too much with 40 days of growth and my little square meter , next time 4 max! I would also reduce the doses of fertilizer because Canna remains strong enough Now it's time to invest and improve some things !!! So we are still recovering from light stress. The stress is leaving as shown in the new growth on the top. Some might say this is nitrogen burn.but it cannot be as it's organic, micro dosed alaska fish emulsion. This is my first rodeo as I've been gardening for 20 years now. The only thing new to me is the LED lights. Hopefully those two phenos turn out to be male. Because I just don't see them being very vigorous for the duration of the grow.

🇬🇧 Well… it’s starting to get a little out of hand. 😂 I’m defoliating something every single day because the leaves keep trapping moisture against each other. My little grow tent is absolutely packed now. 😌🌿 The girls are getting seriously hungry and they’re happily drinking 12 liters a day in total—that’s about 4 liters per plant. 💧 I’m going on vacation next week, so they’ll probably have to go on a little diet. I’m really curious to see how they’ll handle it. 😅 What do you guys think? Day 64 - Starting week 10 and haven’t really had any issues so far. She’s definitely a lengthy girl and hoping the bud development will catch up to her soon. She’s frosty as hell all over and it’s looking like she’s gonna need some water and nutes in the next day or two. Day 65 - Gave the girl 2 gallons of water and nutes today and she’s still chugging along nicely. She’s still budding nicely but not sure how well she’s going to develop them with how lengthy and spacing between everything but I’m sure things will work just fine. Day 66 - Everything is going good with girl still. She’ll have some more room to stretch outward come this weekend when I chop a plant. Other than that just watching her buds frost over and grow. She’s a bit behind with the watering schedule but will still be getting some by Wednesday. Day 67 - All still looking good and buds are still forming and fattening. Definitely getting nice and frosty all over and she’s smelling amazing. She won’t be needing any water tomorrow like my other two but should be ready on Wednesday. Other than that, just keeping the leaves tucked to keep her as opened as possible. Day 68 - I thought she still had some time before giving her water and nutes but she was dry today and gave her 2 gallons. She’s got more room to stretch out now that I put my Cherry Cookies into 72 hours of darkness. Day 69 - Nearing the end of week 10 and everything is going great. She’s good on water for a few days and just took her out for a few updated pics. She’s back in the tent and tucked the leaves some more. She already unbelievably frosty already and can’t wait to see her when the buds really start getting fat. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and all is looking good! Just letting her do her thing and fatten and frost up. She’s definitely still got several weeks left and another couple of days until she needs more water.

Another good week. All is good! They are growing very well this run. I do have one girl that won't make it. Butinky the best one will go in this tent. We'll see! Watering twice a week. Hello 👋🏻 Readers, Triplets had a trip out of the grow tent in the middle of the week due to a major power outage, until noon in the spare bedroom and then my bedroom (facing west)on the afternoon, with a 12°C temperature in the house, bet they got more purple 😂 Luckily the power was out only 25 hours. Other than that, all went fine this week. I checked the trichomes with my jewelry microscope, even tried my best to take pictures 😅 The base of the trichomes are so cute to see as they are purple and fading into the clear milky form( not showing on pictures) purpled all the way✊🏻😄 This week I started using the supplement Diablo Monster-K Which is the last supplement to be use on the end of flowering, as I started with the supplement Monster Flower, week 2 to 5 then Monster Blast, week 5 to 6 then Monster K, week 7 to 8 ( ya ya ya i also used the supplement BIG BUD week 2 to 4 just because why not? i had too i couldn't help myself😅 The endgame is soon to be! but only the trichomes will have the last word on it. and of course I gotta flush them so i need to pay close attention to the trichomes 🤨 Thanks for stopping by and taking time to check out my weekly diary updates. I found this seed in bud that I harvested from my Barney's Liberty Haze plant. It was grown in my grow room and you can see my GrowDiary log of that plant. I am not sure exactly how I ended up with seeds... maybe there was light or temperature stress which resulted in a herm. In any case, I decided to grow this seed as a fun experiment. I didn't even know if the seed would germinate... but it grew just FINE. I didn't top it, or give it any special treatment. I guess you could say she grew 'native' or 'au natural.' I have never grown outside before, but I had space in the garden, and the seedling looked healthy, so I hardened her off and popped her into the dirt. She ended up going into a huge monster of a plant. Standing over 9 feet tall I had to laugh out loud each time I climbed the ladder to inspect her top cola LOL. I had so much fun growing this plant. I called her Majestic Haze (we live on Majestic Drive) because I'm not sure if Barney's would want me calling her Liberty Haze. I can't verify the genetics for sure :) I wonder how plant breeders handle those kinds of things??... This bud is fun for parties and conversation. It starts out with an energetic vibe and then settles into a relaxed chill stoned feeling. We vaped our dried bud, and then we tried some of our hand rolled hash... then we settled in for the night. Woke up a sit high still LOL but it's Saturday and we don't need to go anywhere so it's all good LOL... This one is the bud of choice for house parties and silly Netflix watching. PS if you haven't see The Good Place... you need to get stoned and watch it. The total dried weight of bud from this plant was just under one pound @ 310g and we also ended up with around 120 g of frosty trim. We also rolled up about a gram of hash which has some serious kick :)

The flowering stage is progressing really well and I’m genuinely happy with how she’s coming along at week 7. The first brown pistils have already started showing on two of the branches, which confirms she’s deep into her flowering cycle now — right on schedule for Glue Gelato Auto. Next week I’m planning to significantly increase the flowering nutrients — particularly Big One and Top Candy, which should really push bud size and resin production from here on. Around the middle of the week I’ll also do a proper defoliation, clearing out the fan leaves that are blocking light from reaching the lower bud sites. The canopy has filled in nicely but it needs opening up to let those buds really fatten up. Water intake has increased quite a bit — I’ve stepped up from one liter to two, and even then the soil is nearly bone dry by early morning. That kind of uptake is a good sign — the roots are clearly healthy and the plant is working hard to fuel bud development. I’ll be watching closely to see if she needs even more as things progress. I’ve also been doing regular branch adjustments, gently repositioning the roped branches to keep the canopy level and make sure every top is getting its share of light. Nothing too aggressive at this point — just keeping things tidy. Week 7 feels like a critical stage now. Pushing the flowering nutrients harder from here should make a real difference in final bud size and density.

Okay so I'm trying something new, since I've gone away from a switch to water for the last week flush I harvested the tops and best smalls and packed the cannatrol full. I'm giving the under growth a bit more time to rippen before I harvest that for the the freezer. If this turns out to be a bad idea I'll not do it again in the future. The last long video is what's left in the tent right now. Let me know if any of you have experience doing this. Updated with a bunch of pictured of dried and cured. Ended up with 186g of beautiful flower. 72g of untrimmed smalls I'll make into RSO, I have a lot of back and nerve pain and RSO hands down the only thing that brings me actual relive, I'm late to the party on this one but I set a side part of the grow for it now. I let the under canopy and shorter tops go another 10 days feed at half strength and I'm glad I did, it ripened up nicely and definitely got a lot of color. I forgot to get pictures of that harvest but I will when I pull it from the freezer to wash. My test jar of this washed at 4+% (the last picture). Last update will be results of that wash. Last update on this one, I added a couple hash/rosin pics at the end. She washed from plant to rosin at 4.03% the terps are musky skunk, sweet pastries, and fresh Linen. I'd definitely grow this one again.

Hey folks, its been a while and I am happy to say we can start our first outdoor summer grow! So I recently got my hands on some 4 week-old clones of some purple kush from my pops indoor grow and will give it a chance for outdoors. I do understand that they are a bit finicky to grow outdoors due to its dense bud structures, but i'm willing to give them a chance. We are starting off with 15 gal fabric pots with Pro-Mix BX series soil amended with Gia Green Organics all purpose 4-4-4 with 2-8-4 bloom to a ratio of 70/30 @3Tbs/Gal of media. The clones then were transplanted and watered with dechlorinated pH 6.5 tap water. Lets see how they turn out! Cheers! :)

Today is the last day, tomorrow i will harvest her. I removed all large fanleaves and took some pre-harvest pictures. 23-2 Today is harvest day! I left the buds on the branches and hang them to dry. Temperature: 18.1°c to 19.9°c Humidity: 57% to 72% 24-2 Temperature: 17°c to 18.8°c Humidity: 56% to 64% 25-2 Temperature: 16.8°c to 17.9°c Humidity: 57% to 69% 26-2 Temperature: 16.2°c to 18.1°c Humidity: 56% to 61% 27-2 Temperature: 16.2°c to 17.5°c Humidity: 55% to 61% 28-2 Temperature: 16.3°c to 17.6°c Humidity: 57% to 64% 29-2 No info. 1-3 Temperature: 17.8°c to 18.7°c Humidity: 56% to 61% 2-3 No info. 3-3 Temperature: 16.5°c to 20.3°c Humidity: 46% to 62% After 8/9 days of drying the buds are dry enough, so lets start trimming! The buds are pretty airy and foxtaily, but very resinous, she smells good, but i think the buds are a bit overdried. End results: Trim: 18.12 Gram. Popcorn buds: 37,11 Gram. Normal Buds: 70,98 Gram. Total buds: 108,09 Grams. I will post the progress of me making bubble hash in this diary very soon, so if you are interested make sure to keep an eye out!
