Kicking off week 5. Did some extra work on the LST. Making sure the light penetrates all bud sites. I now understand that my initial goals are too far from what I actually will harvest..mainly due the PH issue we faced on week 4. Let's see how it goes.

March 12, Day 71 my Sea Of Green is now a Sea Of Buds 😄 Tomorrow I will collect the three plants closest to the poster that seem to be mature. Next week I will collect the last two gorillas (excluding the two plants with a photoperiod predominance) because they seem to need a little more time. March 13, Day 72: I wanted to make a video or a video to show you the defoliated plants ready to be cut, but when I removed them from the SOG they no longer had the support of the nearby plants and the branches could not support the weight of buds. I'm not complaining, in fact I didn't think I would get such a big harvest. For the same reason I only cut and put to dry two plants, I don't have enough space in my dryer that is only 50x50x120 Centimeters. However, I made a video with Harvest and a video with the new layout of the plants in my SOG. Now in my sea of buds there are three gorillas left, two cheese in advanced bloom and two photoperiodic gorillas and the margin there is a Cheese that has just started to bloom. I realized that I can make only one harvest page for each variety, I thought it was possible to create one for each plant, so I will edit the diary for the final harvest, when I will also collect the last three gorillas in my secret garden. Pulled her a bit earlier than I would have liked, due to pest pressure

This is my 3rd week of flower after months of struggles, I was about to cut them off and abort the grow ... My plants were hit with yellowing tops and leaves were being burnt for no apparent cause. I installed a chiller, reduced EC, distanced the light and still ... Only to find out that calcium toxicity was the culprit .... It caused a potassium lock out that literally burned the leaves and stunted growth completely ... They looked like seedlings despite well crossing the vegetative stage ... Flushed my tank ... removed the calcium completely and the magic started ... This week I’m attaching this beautiful time lapse video of my girls coming back from the dead and filling out my tent space completely! :)

8/29 Knowing I was going to have to yo to the hospital er again this morning with my wife I got up early and watered. We are supposed to get an inch of rain tomorrow but the bags were totally light. If I was going to be around I might've held off watering. Instead I watered everything one gallon and figured the rain will make up for the other 10 percent hopfully that will do it. 8/30 Rained overnight. Plants were soaked. Flowers are swelling. I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves the other day. I still don't think I have anything fungal but I'm keeping an eye u e out and am considering doing an application of plant doctor. We are suppised to get an inch of rain tonight and tomorrow I guess. My biddy said i shouod cover my plants because next week is going to be "great growing weather" but with the rain and then the sun it could be a recipe for disaster since I have some large flowers. I got my father's leaf blower running but it was leaking gas. Brought it to the repair shop and a buddy let me borrow his for thus storm. I and hit the plants with it this morning. It is super strong though. I need to be careful not to blow it right out of the bag!!! Or break branches. Of course after u left it started raining lightly. A nice rain that plants like but it's stopped. I'm wondering if I should go over and blast them again to keep them dry but I know it's going to rain off and on and it'd going to rain tonight. I'll check the weather and decide from there. So far things are going good. Still have some yellowing leaves and a few normal pests but that is to be expected. UPDATE: Stopped raining so I went over and shook off the plants then put the leaf blower to them. I made sure to get the interiors before I went and had shook things again by hand. Storage us low bur i took a video. Cant upload toll tomorrow. Buds are growing at an insane rate but im losing some fan leaves that just yellow and die. Im sure its senescence but its still wortisome. We are supposed to have a real good week of growing weather coming so I hope that doesn't change. I'll update tomorrow. That leafblower works awesome though. 8/31 Went over to an extremely sunny windy morning. I didn't even need to shake plants or use the leaf blower since I did it after it Rained last night. I'm worried the wind night dry my bags out today so I'll be sure to keep an eye on them. I defoliated a shit ton of leaves but apparently it's just senescence. I need to check the last time I fed. Trich development is going good. The smell was incredible this morning! Each strain has its own unique smell to it. We are supposed to have a real good week for growing so I'm looking forward to it. May do a preventative plant doctor app but I think it will be alright. I'll keep this updated. UPDATE: Went over around one and plants were bone dry. The wind was RIDICULOUS! I added a few individual stakes and tied a couple loose branches. I got my tarp out and considered covering the cagecto protect from the wind. However I didn't have time to sanitize if and they had already been through it all night and day alwuth no breakages. Plants are strong and supported well. At least I hope. Plus the tarp would block the rest of the direct sun the plants are getting right now. The wind looked like it dud its worst and the trellis and supports held. I did add extra supports higher up the plant to prevent breakages. Found a moth larvae (yellow) and squished him. Also found some aphids but a few lady bugs and three lady bugs larvae so I think I'll be OK. I am really excited for this year. Flowers are really exploding! FORGOT TO PUT THE MOST IMPORTANT THING. WATERED EVERYTHING TWO GALLONS EXCEPT THE 10. WHICH GOT ONE. 9/1 Forgot my phone on the daY I really needed it. It rained last night. The wind was the strongest i've seen in years. I would've tarped the cage but i couldn't find any of the bungee cords or zip ties. Probably good I didn't. No breaks. One plant had dark brown splotches ALL over the leaves! I picked them all off and took pictures and will consult my commercial buddy. I researched and asked a question on here. If it's septoria or something that could ruin my gorgeous garden I'd rather just junk the plant. It's big but it's the furthest behind flowering and I would not be heart broken if I had to get rid of that for the others. This week is supposed to be the best week we've had all summer so I'm expecting major growth. I'll update after conferring with other growers and making a decision. I think the nutes in my soil are fairly depleted so I just needed to adjust my feeding schedule. I didn't notice anymore calcium deficiency looking spots and I had defoliated a lot of leaves. Super excited moving forward. Pistols are changing color on one 10th p phenome and retracting into buds. This is is the fun time. As long as I can avoid the rot. 9/2 Says it didn't rain last night but my plants are dripping wet. If course the leafblower kept dying so I had to shake everything by hand. Hope that's good enough. Gonna be real sunny. Bags still had some heft to them. I'll check them later. Found a few leaves with what looks like the calcium deficiency on the sane plant and I just removed them. I really don't think it's anything to worry about. I'll update later. UPDATE: Went back around 10 and everything looked good and was dry. Brought the leaf blower to be fixed. Should have it by the end of the day. Found and killed another pillar and some ants. Took a picture of a lady bug/beetle. This sunshine is making my buds explode!! I was thinking about checking again tonight but I think I can wait and water tomorrow. Bags are still fairly heavy. I did take another couple leaves off the plant that lopks like it might have a deficiency or something. The stalks are bigger than the bottom of a baseball bat. A couple almost like the fat end. I did some pruning and defoliation and then I noticed that my canary was light as hell. I waited until night and went back and had a couple starting to droop so i watered everything 2 gallons except the 10 and tub got 1. Everytime I see them it seems like they are bigger 9/3 Used the leaf blower this morning to get the dew off the buds. I shook them by hand before that. I'm noticing like a little army of lady bug larvae so any aphids I have are not going to be a problem. I have adults as well but is the babies that eat 10x what the adults do. I'm hoping they'll wipe put any bud worms. The weather is great this week all sunny. Making the buds explode in size and increasing terp production. This is the strongest smelling cannabis I've grown. Each strain. Has its own unique "funk" to it. Purple punch is really sweet and floral smelling. 10th planet is more gassy. I need to get some yellow sticky traps. I saw a couple fungus gnats on my canary. A late blooming blueberrycheese. It's the one that dries out the fastest but is more sativa leaning and drinks TONS of water. I have two that are that phenome. Losing yellow leaves but exploding with flowers. Noticed a couple more leaves with that calcium deficiency looking leaf. I just defoliated it. I'm really happy where I'm at right now. 9/4 Plants were covered in water this morning and the leaf blower wouldn't start. I shook everything off by hand. Each strain hasits own STRONG unique scent. One tenth planet phenome smells like bubble gum. I think I've got like two weeks and some of the flowers on ONE plant should be done. I'm planning to take the top half and then letting the bottom mature longer of its not whete I want it to be. The weather has been gorgeous. Sunny today. I'll need to water tonight I'm sure. UPDATE: WENT OVER AT 3PM AND PLANTS WERE DRY. WATERED EVERYTHING 2 GALLONS BIT THE 10 AND THE TUB. THEY GOT ONE. FLOWER DEVELOPMENT IS VISIBLE FROM MORNING TO NIGHT. I HAVE A TENTH PLANET THAT I BELIEVE WILL BE READY FOR HARVEST (AT LEAST THE TOPS) WITHIN A COUPLE WEEKS. PISTOLS ARE RETRACTING AND TURNING ORANGE ON THIS PHENOME AND RED ON THE OTHERS. AUGUST 10 to 16, 2024 Specimen continues to grow vigorously, gaining another 12cm (4.75") in height. Pistils now being pushed out in many locations. Plant receives 14:26 of daylight as sunrise is 06:49 and sunset is 21:15. Fungus gnat presence has multiplied, so effort put to dry out medium and layers of Diatomaceous Earth applied on two occasions. Watered in with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis (delivered via Mosquito Dunks soaked in rainwater for 24 hours) in effort to combat and destroy larvae. Based on development to date, not expecting to harvest specimen until the week of October 14, 2024. Day 106 - Applied 2.0L of Full Spectrum Soil Drench (Flowering Formula), pH'd to 6.7; Solution prepared with rainwater treated with Bacillus Thuringiensis Israelensis; 500mL bottom watered with plain rainwater. Sprayed soil surface thoroughly with approximately 1L of Soil Pest Defense Drench. Day 107 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 108 - n/a Day 109 - n/a Day 110 - 1.5L bottom water with plain rainwater in the morning, another 1L bottom water in the late afternoon. Day 111 - Applied layer of Diatomaceous Earth to combat Fungus Gnats Day 112 - n/a

Day 59: There is little left to my first harvest in 2019. As buds continue to swell and resin starts to see some orange pistil. I think that in order to complete the cycle of these six Gorillas, there are only a couple of weeks to get to the standard eleven weeks. The smell of the resin is very strong and I have to ventilate the room several times during the day. Given the approach of the first harvest I put some other seeds in the soil. 😄 P.S. I chose one of the predominantly indica plants for the first taste. This plant has received only water for the last five days instead of the usual 10/12 and although I would have to wait another 10/15 days before it is completely dry, this Saturday I will break some buds smaller and I will smoke it 😋 Once the first plant has dried, and the crop is tasted, I will add more data such as flavor and real definitive weight. For the remaining five plants I will follow all my standards without breaking basic rules and I will make a progressive crop. For the 2 plants that showed a photoperiodic predominance, I will open a separate diary once the harvest is over. P.S. I posted some sexy photos to take part in the Naked Buds contest. After choosing and cutting the smaller plant and having made it stand upside down in the shade for two days I dissected all the buds and put them to dry in my cage. At a first estimate I should have gotten between fifty and seventy grams of buds, I will be more precise in a couple of days. With the smaller buds and sugar leaves I will subject them to decarbosillation and I will make some good butter 😋 while with the small branches covered with trichomes I want to flavor some bottles of vodka, I put aside even the largest leaves and branches and when I have also dried out the waste from the next crops I'll do a bit 'of ice-olator hashish using the bubble bags system...I thank everyone and I apologize for my approximate English and any errors, but as you may have already guessed it is not my language. March 10, Day 69: Final taste and effect ratio for the first plant. The exact weight of dried buds, excluding the wads, sugar leaves and small branches is 58 grams. Even having pushed all the final procedures to the limit, the product is fantastic. No chemical taste despite the short flushing. Yesterday was my birthday and I got to smoke a lot (about 45 grams) in the company of twenty friends, everyone appreciated the taste and power of the effect perhaps amplified by some beer, but still very strong. No one has coughed, the smoke goes down smooth and clean and the effect is practically immediate. The terpenes of limonene and pinene dominate every flavor. The aftertaste is fresh and sweet and smoking a lot at the end the limonene prevails. For a final consideration on the edible taste I will have to wait to have made some butter to make biscuits or brownies. As I wrote the effect is very strong, salt immediately and at the beginning seems energizing, but shortly after passing the joint hits you with a baseball bat to the back of the neck 😵 After the fifth joint you are now on a psychedelic journey and you will continue to laugh for hours. At the moment I do not have a THC analyzer (object I want to buy in the future) but based on my personal experience I think it is well over 20%. Stimulates appetite, thirst (excellent if combined with a double malt blond beer) and can be used to effectively fight insomnia. 👊

So Friday will be day 70. I messed up a lot, did lst and used big pots so I'm thinking these might go 3-5 more weeks. They smelled so amazing a few times today though. First the purple punch, then the sour diesel, then the girl scout cookies, each gave off aromas one after the other a few times today. The purple punch smalls so sweet and delicious.

Fala galerinha do mal, muito contente nesse início de semana, as plantas estão com pleno vigor e se desenvolvendo, decidi aplicar um LST na maior pra tentar tornar ela mais arbustiva, a menor eu decidi podar o nó que estava começando a crescer pra incentivar os novos ramos e depois promover um LST mais pra frente. As duas plantas tem diferenças visíveis pelos problemas que cada uma teve nas primeiras fases da vida, a partir disso decidi aplicar as técnicas que usaria, a grande teve um crescimento maiorno caule principal, o que facilitou as amarras. Já a pequena não distribuiu muita força pro caule, mas sim na proliferação de brotos novos então decidi optar pela poda do nó principal que estava no início do desenvolvimento para incentivar o crescimento dos brotos novos, nas fotos que fica bem visível o que eu fiz.
