Hello Growmies, The final chapter of this incredible journey has unfolded, and it's time to share the bountiful harvest and reflections on the entire cultivation process. Trimming the plant was a joy, and with gentle fingers, I removed all the large fan leaves. The precision in this process revealed the true beauty of the buds, setting the stage for a smooth harvest. With care and gratitude, the plant was chopped, and the buds were hung to dry. The anticipation for what lies ahead only adds to the sense of accomplishment. The wet weight, excluding fan leaves, stands at an impressive 782 grams. The buds are massive, a testament to the efficacy of the nutrients used, particularly the Power Buds. The name seems apt, as the result is a collection of sticky, dense buds with subtle lemon notes and sweet pungent undertones. In the final moments, the plant unveiled some delightful purple hues. While I wish I could have allowed them to intensify further, it's a reminder that each grow is a learning experience. In hindsight, a slightly longer fading period would have accentuated those beautiful colors. We live and learn, and that's the essence of this journey. Partway through last week I noticed that there was no runoff after feedings. I increased the time the fertigation pump runs to 2 mins twice a day. It seems like either the root system is drinking up more or the added aeration has changed how much runoff comes out. Plant 1 has fallen behind in growth. The inter-nodal spacing was so tight that the new growth was being strangled by the older fan leaves and other growth. I adjusted the LST to help and pruned a very small amount of leaves. It seems to be doing better, but is several inches shorter than Zkittlez 2 which has had some really explosive growth. I started the scrog today, bending many of Zkittlez 2’s branches down to fill out the tent. I bent a few branches on Zkittlez 1, but it’s still a little short. This week I upped the nutrients, almost doubling the Cocos A & B, Multizen and Cal Mag. I still tried to keep EC down though, only allowing it to rise by about 300mS/cm. This could actually be the first week of flower, but think I’ve started to spot some pistils, but I’m not sure. I can’t find the breeder’s info, but think it’s supposed to have a 4 week veg time and 10 week flowering period. Update: lots of pistils being thrown out especially from Zkittlez 2. It’s definitely the first week of flower. There has been a lot of growth since the start of the week. I continued to bend branches down and tuck them under the net, but now that buds are really starting to take shape I'm going to lay of any further stressing. I noticed that there was little runoff over the past couple days. Yesterday (Monday) I had to refill the reservoir and mix up new nutrients because there was only an inch of water left. These girls have gotten a lot thirstier over the past 2 weeks. I've upped the feeding times to 3 minutes twice a day.

Welcome to week 2 of my Bubblegum XL diary, genetics by Royal Queen seeds. Looks beautifull, no starting problems. Grows fast since day 1. Small full spectrum burple cob light is doing its job very good, and as you can see the plant is growing as we like it to. 8/01/21: 😹Week 3!!! Apollo F1 had to come down due to bud rot. These videos were taken n June 10 and at that time no bud rot was visible. We've had so much rain this spring season with limited fully sunny days. I harvested June 14. The main cola was full of bud rot. That's how fast it can spread.

Week 2: The adjustment Hello dear growers and groweresses, it’s time for an update on my grow. My plants have completed the second week and have continued to grow. But they also faced some challenges that I will tell you about. The adjustment My plants have adapted to the new conditions in my room this week. I realized that I had my lamps too close to the plants and that they got too much light and heat. This resulted in them not developing as well as I had hoped. I therefore hung my lamps higher and reduced the intensity of the light. I lowered the PPFD (Photosynthetic Photon Flux Density) from 400 to 280, to give the plants a more comfortable environment. The PPFD is a measure of the amount of light that the plants receive per square meter and second. The higher the PPFD, the more light the plants get, but also the more nutrients and water they need. The plants accepted the change very well and recovered quickly. They started to grow stronger again and formed more leaves. They also got a nicer color and look healthier. One plant that suffered a lot was the Frosty Nightmare. She was overwatered and had trouble developing. She was smaller and weaker than the others and had yellow tips on the leaves. I therefore gave her less water and moved her away from the other plants, to give her more space and air. She recovered and grew again. She is still the smallest of all, but she has potential. I also increased the temperature in my room by 1 degree, to give the plants more heat. I set the temperature from 22 to 23 degrees Celsius, which is still in the optimal range for the plants. The plants liked that and showed me that by their growth. I let them vote democratically, by observing the plants and interpreting their reactions. :D The water filter I also want to introduce you to my water filter from Watertrim, which I use for my grow. It is a great product that saves me a lot of time and money and is also better for the environment. The water filter has only two connections: an inlet and an outlet. So it has no waste water, which would otherwise go into the drain. It has different options of the filter, depending on how much water you want to filter and how high the EC value of the tap water is. The EC value is a measure of the electrical conductivity of the water, which depends on the dissolved minerals. The higher the EC value, the more minerals are in the water, which are not always good for the plants. My filter filters at an inlet EC of 1.0 1000 liters, before it needs to be renewed. Since my tap water has an EC of 0.5, I can filter 2000 liters with it, until I have to renew it. That costs about 100 euros and works easily and quickly via the post. The flow is almost 1 to 1 in speed, so no more waiting. I can tap the water directly from the filter and use it for my grow. I use the filter as follows: I tap water at the filter. I pour normal tap water on it, until I have an EC of 0.3. I add fertilizers etc., depending on what the plants need. I check the EC again and adjust it if necessary. I also adjust the pH value, which should be between 6.2 and 6.5, to ensure optimal nutrient uptake. I give the water to my plants. The water filter is really a great product, even if it is not very cheap in the purchase with once of 240 - 390 euros. But it pays off in the long run, as it saves me a lot of work and costs and also improves the quality of my water. u can find it here : https://watertrim.de The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the second week. My plants have adapted well and recovered from the problems. They have grown further and formed more leaves. They have recovered well and showed a great growth. I am very excited about the next week, where it goes to the repotting and the ladies can try fertilizer for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a little late, even if I use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well alone. Starting to see the preflower and one of 3 is asymmetrical... worried it might turn out to be a hermaphrodite plant. Also scared to bend the stem to lst, don’t wanna snap it. Any tips on how to start lst with main stem foolproof much appreciated 😅 Should I let them dry out a little more then usual when bending or it’s not going to soften the stem? Should I counteract the top tension point of the bend with one on the bottom for support and do it gradually every day?

11-05 Looking great, smelling great, and a putting on the weight like a good girl! I think I'll hit them(or maybe just one) with a light dose of powder Kool Bloom this week to prepare for the full dose the 7th and 8th week of bloom. 11-08 So I believe I messed up 😣😕😔. At some point when I was writing down my recipe for my feedings so I didn't forget, I accidentally wrote the wrong number down for the Jack's Hydro, I put a 16 when it should've been a 12,and I just realized it a few days ago. That would account for the some of the minor issues I've been seeing. I should have seen it sooner! All I can do now is feed them right, and hope it doesn't have any negative effects. 11-11 Going into week 7 of flower and things are great. The 2 girls are coming along nice, smell great and looking through a magnifier are almost done, about a week or so left.

So this week flushing began. Flushed with water pH 6.0 EC 0.1, I won't harvest the plants untill the run off EC is the same as the Input EC. Temps also brought down to preserve Terps as much as possible. Serious smell coming from both strains, Buds are somehow getting even frostier. Can not wait to harvest these two strains!

COSMOS F1 CBD ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS This lady was my first grow in a solo cup from start to finish so I was satisfied with the grow. Knowing she would flip about 5 weeks and growing in organic soil I knew she would not get that big. She still produced frosty dense buds and was about a foot tall. Stay Growing!! Hello Diary. It completed the last week of flowering, a total of three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering. A total of 81 days since it sprouted. In the end, I can say that Watermelon lasted well, although I had problems, I mean over-feeding at one point, the flowers look good, they are beautiful purple color, full of trichomes and intense scent. The photos show that most of the leaves have totally turned yellow and a lot of them have brown spots on them, but the flowers have been spared. Although not as hard and full as the flowers of his roommate, Purple Punch. There were only two waterings this week, I wanted him to consume all the water to make the drying faster. The condition in the growbox is satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here’s what the last week looked like. 31/04/2021 - Day 64. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 and with 7 liters of water I evenly watered all three plants on the “farm”. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 37% humidity. 03/04/2021 - Day 67. Watering. The procedure is the same as three days ago. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 38% humidity. 07/04/2021 - Day 71. Harvest. After I did the photography, I cut the plant at the bottom of the stalk and hung it upside down in a growbox to dry. The temperature in the Box is about 25 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 40%. I turned off the lights and left only the ventilation on while I also turned off the fans. Now it is preceded by about two weeks of drying, maybe a little less, so I call with one last review. See you soon.
