day 57 bloom 🥀 #5 and #2 are my favorite phenos so far. #5 is like a fruity ice cream cake. #2 smells citrus spicy and got bright purple buds which are dense as rocks already Unfortunately a main cola of #5 started budrotting but I did not find more budrot anywhere

***April 18 Another great week for this freaky girl. The buds are getting fat and trichomes are producing everywhere! My fingers were coated in a sticky sweet pine coat just from removing a few fan leaves around the inside. You can really smell this girl when she is out of the tent. I also did a proper measure with a tape measure, and we're coming in a a whopping 22 inches!! Changed the reservoir, same as always. I think I have a good amount of nutrients getting into her, so I will leave it at the levels I have right now. (Tips are just BARELY burning, which is a perfect sign I'm at the limit). Looking forward to how much she changes this week! Only a few more weeks to go! 😀 ***April 20 You can really see the nugs stacking now. Every visible node was topped on all the plants. Some of the large fan leaves connected to the main stem were removed. Custom drip rings were made out of some 1/2 inch tube that I drilled some holes in. Each drip ring has its own shutoff due to different substrate being used. I was getting rid of some leftover stuff from past grows. This is not ideal, but it’s what I had to work with and cost no 💰 this go around. I’m hoping for a great stretch from these Mandarin Cookies. The net will probably go up at the end of the week followed by one final week before flipping the light cycle to 12/12 for flower production. I really need the height of the Cookies to catch up to the Super Lemon Haze that are growing like a maniac! I’m gonna take clones at some point…maybe. Fed them 1x flower girl last week, maybe a tad too strong. Saw some subtle burns on the tips but not very big, must of just been over in nutes. Tallest plant is 29in and I do not think it will be growing any taller. I should have 3-4 weeks more of flowering so we will see. Will assess at the end of the week whether I should flush at the end of next week or the following one. Hoping to see some major growth change in buds at the end of next week. Other then that, plants are looking healthy, strong, frosty with a nice green color. Smell is there and when I brush the white hairs it releases a very sweet, candy-like smell which is delicious!

4/15/25 This plant is blowing my freaking mind. Long stacked colas. Even the lower buds are plumping up like golf balls. This is an exceptional plant so far. Shes starting to show the classic "sherbert" purple that ive noticed shows up with anything that has sunset sherbert in the lineage. Some of the leaves are starting to fade slightly and the purple is coming in. The rs11 that this seed came from, produced the most from a single plant out of all plants ive grown and trained and kept that small. She yielded 3.5 ounces or a 1/4lb of top nugs from a plant that was only about 18 inches tall and vegged for 6 weeks before flip. Once i start to clear out all of the fan leaves later on in flower, its just going to be buds running the length of the stems 4/18/25 I really believe this may be a keeper. She is absolutely stunning. Just everything is perfect. She has super long stacking of buds up and down the stems. Im actually super stoked to see how she finishes up. One of the craziest parts is that shes in a plastic 2 or 3 gallon pot and this plant is going to yield insane.

week 2 - bumped up the lux from 8k to 20k Noticed some rust spots possibly due to calcium deficiency so I fed with calimagic. Growing fast!

11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. HEY! the beginning of flowering. all the same decided to do defoliation after looking at the inside of the plant .. there are just a million buds under the leaves)) in short, I decided to give them more light .. not quite a suitable period for this, but I took a chance .. removed a lot of hopeless branches .. I won't bother her anymore! until I stick a knife in her trunk and chop it down and smoke it!))

This has been a week of consequential stretch to stress the least! Some girls are about done stacking inches and some still got about a week more worth of elongating. Took a calculated risk heavily defoliating and lollipopping them mid-stretch which they seem to have withstood with no issues whatsoever. I’m starting to smell fruit also. Reminds me of my old neighbourhood’s Jamba Juice aroma that lingered around the block in the morning when you knew they were busy squeezing those tropical fruits by the carload!

No more training, switched the lights to 120W+660nm+UV+IR. I had to increase the distance since the new QB is much hotter. The weather was very humid - AC working all the time, still 26.2C at night, usually 25C during daytime, 45% RH during day, 52% RH at nighttime .

I started germination of 2 M.A.C beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Been itching to give this variety a go! Never givin pev seeds a try but... hopefully they keep this amazing powerhouse true to its name. Guess this grow will double up as testing the waters with pevs genetics. Always intresting to dive in to different breeders.
