Hey Growmies~ This run's starting with a 70% coco and 30% perlite mix in a reduced 1-gallon fabric pot, with no pre-mixed dry nutrients. I'm testing a few things this time: 1. Can autos thrive in a solo cup-sized fabric pot without stress? 2. Is it possible to reach harvest without bi-weekly top dressing of dry nutrients? 3. Skipping Cal/Mag—will it still work? For nutrients, here’s the plan: - Bi-weekly: Great White (until flowering) - Bi-weekly: Home-cultivated microbe solution (alternating with Great White) - Every feeding: Homemade liquefied dry nutrients (I'll document the process soon) What I’m aiming for: - A super simple KNF-style organic grow - A 100 to 1,000x reduction in dry nutrient usage - Consistent, quality harvests This is my perpetual medicinal plant harvest, and I’m just hoping everything stays on track! It was poured once with about 200 ml because it is still under the hood with very high humidity that is enough :-). Next week the hood will be opened bit by bit so that it can get used to the surroundings :-). Otherwise the tent was cleaned and the humidifier refilled every day this week. Finally received a couple of humidifiers to test from the local shop. These shitty low cost humidifiers will not really do, I can only have them on non stop until the water runs out. If I connect them to a sensor that switches them off, it won't go back on because it doesn't have a mechanical switch, I have to press on each time. Still, let's see if this helps my poor dry leafs a little bit

This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.

Week 11, D71 Flower Day 41. She's super frosty. And very sticky and sticky. Smells of fresh cut strawberries and a light musky sweet earthy smell. Not a whole lot of bud, but what's there is tops by the looks of it. I'm hoping this is going to be the A grade bud I've been looking for. Plant has been thrown into soft flush. Been given terra powers finisher. 1ml/L 150 ppm and ph + adjusted to 6.7. Should of just let it grow normal. Lessons learnt. Even though she wasn't let grow o'natural I've seen what I can get, 1 main top cola and smaller colas on the side instead of 50-70cm small plants. Hopefully I'll get 50-70cm nodes with a big ass frosty cola on my next run, and then I'll be able to say for sure, that topping isn't the way to go with autos. As I've topped every single 1 I've grown and the tallest plant I could get was 90cm. Either it's the topping or not grown to its peak performance. HARVEST DAY. She's frosty. I've seen more frosty SG but I'm happy with this with how I crippled her growth. But in stunning her height I do think I've made for some A grade Bud up top. There is some airy bud at the very end. Day 36 flowering: This lady is my superstar. her growthbhas been excellent and never slowed at any point. Her buds are solid and orangey when pressed. Size wise she is huge at 2ft from the pot top. 5 weeks left for her and i know she is going to be one of my personal bests. A beautiful Keeper strain so far.

Day 71👋🌱 Started flushing. Giving ph controlled water at 6.2/6.5, I check TDS to water owerflowing from pot, bringing it to 50ppm from 400. Now I’ll start checking trichomes every three days, I’d like a 60% white and 40% amber. Day 72👋🌱🌱 Hi all growers, how is going? Second flush, baut maybe the real first one😎, i gave 10 lt of ph controled water (6.5) and was checking ppm from water coming out. i gave water unitl it reach 400 ppm, my water is 200 ppm, i hope i'll bring it to 50 ppm for next flush in 3 days. This lady is so fat, and tasty already i can smell chocolate and pinus, i'm sure they're going to fatten up 😋😉 Day 77🌱🌱🌱 🌱🌱🌱🌱 Keep washing it with ph controlled water, water now looks cleanest and buds are really blooming now, leaves are loosing color in favour to buds, i think i've got ther 6.7 days left to this lady cut. Hey growmies, I hope you are all well and growing good👍 This week hasn't seen much change in appearance for this lovely girl, some light pinky purple tips showing up on the tops of some buds. More purple slowly appears after each night. A little bit of fattening up but maybe not quite as much as I hoped. Her aroma has got slightly stronger 👍 she smells like a lovely vanilla and orange cookie. Trying not to touch her and disturb but I can't help it sometimes lol she is super sticky and kicks out a really sweet smell. I like her colours so far, can definitely see the wedding cake genetics coming though 😀 Node spacing a bit larger than hoped and buds are not fat but they are very dense and frosty. But never mind I still have 2 more of these seeds to try and find a keeper from 🤞 That's all for now my friends. I will probably updating this diary now after Christmas. I Will Be Harvesting The Purple Purple On Friday, I Wanted To Harvest It Today But The Soil Is Not Fully Dry Out And I Don’️t Want To Harvest It When The Soil Is Still Wet. I Bought A Pocket Microscope To Check The Trichomes And Although There Are Only Literally Only 1 Or 2 Amber Trichomes On The Purple Power Some Of The Upper Buds Are Showing Signs Of Overripe By Getting Dry & Crispy And Stretching Apart. I Will Be Taking Off Most Of The Fan Leaves On The Girls Scout Cookies (5gal) And The Gorilla Glue For Better Light Penetration. The Flowering 5 Have Such Lovely Scents Coming Off Them From Sweet Berries And Pine To Different Types Of Lemon I Just Love When I When The Tent Is Close Up And I Open It And All The Flavours Just Hits Me All At Once. after 10days in the 12/12 light cycle we lollipopped our plants a little bit. 3 days later we were shocked: the supa choopz was hermaphroditic...What an unfortunate thing considering the good genetics of zmoothiez. We sorted her out, luckily we still have a clone in reserve and he will now make use of the free space. The clone only had one week of veggie in the tent then it was sent into flowering, it has developed magnificently and is as big or bigger than the other ladies but unfortunately not quite as strong. We are still curious and hope for no further unpleasant surprises.

Actualización 05/10/2024 ¡Hola, growers! Perdón por no poder compartir las semanas completas, pero poco a poco volvemos a la normalidad. Las fotos que ven corresponden al día 01/10/24 y, como pueden ver, están llenas de terpenos y tricomas por todas partes. Tanto la Fruit Gum como la Biscotti x Candy Rain son dos de las cepas más resinosas que he cultivado y, además, desprenden un olor increíblemente fuerte. La Fruit Gum tiene esos toques dulces y nostálgicos, como a chicle de mascar, que me transportan directamente a mi infancia. En cuanto a la Biscotti x Candy Rain, su aroma es como el de una clásica galleta americana casera, ¡muy intenso! Ambas cepas me están impresionando mucho por su resinosidad y aromas únicos. Cabe destacar que las genéticas de Uktha Genetics me han sorprendido gratamente; los resultados están siendo fantásticos. Eso sí, estas cepas comen como camiones, pero mientras se mantenga un control exhaustivo de las fertilizaciones y del medio de cultivo, no hay problema de sobrefertilización. Pronto cortaremos una de las plantas que está bastante adelantada. Espero que disfruten tanto como yo este proceso y, como siempre, ¡buenos humos para todos! 🌱💨
