Howdy growfessors! Another week has come and gone with the outdoors grow. The ladies took a bit of a beating from the tail end of tropical storm Ida. Going to build a partial greenhouse roof to help keep the rain off them, which will hopefully lower the chances for mould.

My apologies have been away for a bit but the pics are from the last 2 1/2 weeks! Other plant that was the same age turned out to be a male which its unfortunate because it was an accidental cross lol anyway she’s been growing vigourously ever since I made the switch..3 weeks almost complete and she’s a beast! Can’t wait to see the buds form, will try to post more frequently since my scheduled has cleared up some. Thanks for stopping by! Good luck with your own projects!...oh n it may look like I use a lot of nutes but those don’t get used every watering, I often forget to mix or purposely don’t mix one of the supplements but ALWAYS add the 3 base:gro, bloom and micro.

The stretch is amazing! This plant is a real sky king! Buds are really stacking well on most of the branches. A major recovery from the massive defoliation from last week! Internodes are Sativa like. Branchy. BHB 1 is a monster! Around 19 viable bud sites. She's taaall. Lollipopped the lower quadrant for airflow and to redirect the growth where it is needed. BHB 2 is the shorter, slightly younger plant. Shorter and has about 1-12 bud sites. Five branches are taller than the rest (This is a similar trend in #1). The buds are looking healthy. I do get the occasional burnt leaf from my heater at night. Another week of stretching and another big defoliation and that problem should have sorted itself out. Just found out my res temp is at 62°F. I've started the circulation fan in my insulated box in sync with my exit fan. When it gets too warm, it'll start not only my exit fan, but also the box fan. Should raise the temp gradually back up to 65°. Where I like it. Still, no one has complained. Growth was/is still vigorous and healthy! Keeping the PPMs at around 800-900. Going to do a straight water flush for 24 hours, then start again at 500 PPMs or so. In soil I've always done periodic flushes throughout the cycle of the plant. Usually twice in veg. Once at around 6 weeks and another at transition. The third is at week four of flower and the last is the obligatory final flush. 24-48 hours after the flushes, there is a strong and vigorous spurt from the plant. three days later 'in soil' I go back to nutrients. DWC requires much less time to do the same thing, so 24 hours, it is! I've done two flushes so far and the experience in DWC is the same. Just faster. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. Although the root rot is essentially gone, I continue to brew my microbe tea using Advanced Nutrients Tarantula. I add a litre every forty eight hours to each plants res. This is just prevention at this point. There is so much peat moss and soil left in the root ball when transplanted from their soil, it just seems prudent. Future grows will be done 'sterile. With no organic material or biosphere (microbes)... unless we run into problems again. With the res temps so low, I don't think it'll be an issue. // Day 91 She is getting there. The buds ware not fattening up as much as I wanted to but her trichomes are almost all cloudy and a very low minority is amber. So I guess I give her 2-3 more days and cut her down on friday or saturday. This time I try out the bro science: Befor cutting, I'll let her stay in the dark for 48h. So maybe I turn off the lights tomorrow until friday and chop her down. The bro science hypothesis is that the not ending darkness will give her a last stress which boosts trichome production.

Day 56 - Rinsed with Botanicare Clearex solution. Day 58 - 2 Days after the rinse and the buds are fattening nicely. The pots are still too wet to water so I'll patiently wait to introduce the new Fox Farms Bembe and Cha Ching.

Happy new year everyone! I hope everyone had some amazing festivities! 😃 Regarding my babies I think I might be underfeeding them and one might be shocked thanks to the heat and the lack of nutrients I gave them, last week's runoff water scared me and the plants might be suffering because of that! Most of the issues starts to get more noticeable later during the week! 😖 I started giving them few nutrients to see how they would react and at the end of the week it's clear that I had to give them waaaaay more 😵 Besides that I also moved them to their final pots and I topped Pistachio, out of the two she's the one that looks the best. I also defoliated them a little. I also believe they didn't get a transplant shock (I mean, they would've been worse if that was the case haha) and I added more mycorrhizas during the transplant (I heard they help a lot with hot climates and I need help with that badly) Anyway, thanks for reading! Stay tuned for the next update! 😉

Plant going as wanted, INSANE growth, very special in the way it behaves. I cannot kill this thing no matter what you do. After the second schwazzing where I took I think 130+ leaves, it regend within 48 hours... I am not sure what to say, but I guess these mofos are made with some mastermind in the back. Im just blown away and that from a free tester seed.

The plants seem to be responding well with once a day watering instead of two for now. D2 Plants are looking good. Little bit of yellowing on new growth. Watering every other day. Pots have been feeling heavy for daily watering. D6 Pots are drying out quicker. Might have to start watering daily. D7 Ran out of Stackswell, using soft water with Veg+Bloom and Athena Cleanse. Watering and feeding once a day 1 hour after lights on. PPFD 300.

Added a photo to show where I take RH/Temp measurements from in the tent, pretty much inside the canopy. Went lower on EC this week to give the plant a little time to regenerate and pack some more before harvest. The dehumidifier is pulling less and less moisture out of the air every day, this is a additional sign to me that the plant is nearing its end. Not quite sure when to harvest, maybe next week or the week after, the plant isn't really stacking, it is frosty but I am missing the quantity, the pictures are kinda deceiving.
