Howdy, So this is now the first day of week 14, which is 99 days from sprout, 53 days from when I flipped the lights to 12/12. Still maintaining nutrients at the same levels, topping up on alternate days with RO water or Nutrients. Checked the trichomes under the scope yesterday, but forgot to save the video. So will post a video in a couple days time when I check them again. So far it’s looking like they’re about 75% clear, 24.5% cloudy and the other half percent are made up of translucent amber trichomes. I think she’s still got another 2 weeks in her, as I’ve read that people make the mistake of cutting early because they go off breeders flowering type from the day they flip lights when you should do it from the day you see pistols, which for me was about 8 days into 12/12. Really struggling to keep humidity down, so have a 10L per day dehumidifier coming this week to aid me in the last couple weeks to make sure all this hard work wasn’t for nothing! I needed one anyway to use once this lady is hung up to dry. I am still having to cut off about 5-10 buds per week that are burning unfortunately. I am also in the process of building a grow room around the tent, if I can get it finished, that will mean I can give these ladies some more space and finally be able to raise the lights. I think the better quality smoke will be just under the canopy as I have a feeling the lights are frying off the THC faster than the plant can produce it. Hopefully it can recover once I raise the lights... Anyway, waffling over. 🌱

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

Another mostly positive week completed. Pests firmly at bay. Environment humidity looking good and all the buds are getting bigger. Top dressed some nutrients / insect frass earlier in the week which I’m sure was a week or so late. - Heidi looking very hungry by D57 - the whole plant is looking yellow. Solution to problem is some organic liquid nutes which arrived today from now as needed. Overall they and the other 2 ladies in the tent are looking a zillion times better than my first grow. As usual plain sailing the autopots are such a bonus when it's 28c indoors. This week they have had pH water and Iguana juice Bio. Also they have had two times KNF foliar feed.

Que pasa familia, vamos con la cosecha de estas Gorilla Melon de FastBuds. Por dónde empezar, las flores son bien compactas y van repletas de resina son muy pegajosas, tienen tonos verdes bonitos, y tiene unos aromas dulces y exóticos bastante marcados con toques terrosos. Es muy sencilla de cultivar, es de ciclo de 2 meses y medio, pero bien agradecida, tiene buenos satélites, de las que plante de fastbuds, podría decir que mi favorita hasta el momento. Hasta aquí todo, Buenos humos 💨💨💨

This girl is beautiful, and she is starting to show some flowers. Her shape is perfect. She will get some bloom nutes tomorrow. I had some bugs munching on the plants so I gave them a good spraying with Neem oil and Potassium soap. I´ll give them another shortly.

Wir schreiben die vierte Woche der Wachstumsphase. Letzte Woche hatte ich erst das Gefühl es verschlimmert sich, dann hat es sich scheinbar verbessert. Ich bin mir ehrlich gesagt noch nicht 100% sicher was jetzt das genaue Problem ist bzw was den Pflanzen fehlt. Sind sie jetzt von einem Cal/Mag Defizit in eine Überdüngung geraten? 🤔 Oder sind es wirklich einfach nur die kleinen Töpfe..? Naja die Pflanzen sind mittlerweile auf jeden Fall jeweils zu viert in ihren 15l Töpfen (Endtöpfe), haben also jeweils ca 3,75l Substrat,... mit der üblichen Mischung + Biotabs Palette ( leider finde ich hier keine Auswahlmöglichkeit zu Mengenangaben von Feststoff.-/Streudünger wie g/l(Substrat) ) Außerdem haben sie eine schöne BoomBoom Spray Dusche bekommen, fantastisches Zeug - ich liebe es und die Pflanzen lieben es noch viel mehr. Gelato #2 is so small 😂 but she's definitely happy tho'. Topped both ladies and did some LST. They should be ready for bloom soon.

An Tag 43 wurde mal wieder entlaubt. Sie werden dieses mal wieder riesig, das ist mal klar. Sie riechen auch schon ein wenig, ich freu mich auf jeden Fall. 👽👍 Tag 45: Ich hab sie dieses Mal wieder ins Netz gesteckt, da die Jungle Lava dafür einfach sehr gut gewachsen ist. The growth of these plants has all in all been quite simple .... in comparison .... what they have been able to give me back .... is something extremely RARE Between one phenotype and another they each took on a different color....but all extremely potent! Tight, solid buds that overflow with resin 😬😋 Just how I like them!! my work combined with the scrog technique paid off and these fantastic lights meant that even the lower buds got the light they deserved ,But all this would not have been possible if I hadn't had good nutrients with me to enrich the soil at the right point! All without ever checking the EC of the ground 😉 Stay updated
