The gutter hoe grow show powered by the viparspectra XS2000 is still in action. The plants are showing that they aren't completely happy with the limited root space they have but they are growing some buds. Crescendo is definitely the most trich coated of the bunch. The big detroit energy is producing some big fat buds. Lowered the temp to 72. Other than that the juice will keep pumping and the lights will keep beaming.

I topped this beautiful girl again and it was 32 tops in total, now I will wait 2-3 weeks for her to overcome these heavy stresses and start active growth, after which I will cover the scrog net and switch the light cycle to 12/12 💚🌋

To tell the truth, I am very surprised myself, how amazing she is FastBuds Gorilla cookies, she copes well with a small space:) she drinks 1 liter every day :) everything looks better than expected:) good luck to everyone.

So soon I am going to have to start making some decisions I think on how to care for this. The nutrients in the soil FoxFarms Happy Frog will likely run out in a week maybe? Again this is exactly 3 weeks from planting. So it should probably be week 3, I don’t know how to count. The site wasn’t letting me start with week 1 had to do germination and couldn’t save germ without a picture. I will try to see if I can fix this and shift them all 1 week forward. Again I am a rookie here and will do some reading up on all this when I have time but here are the things I don’t know that am starting to think about. #1. When to start feeding nutrients. I got a General Organics Growbox probably 6 months ago have kept it in my closet in room temperature. When do I start using it? Is it even still good? #2. Transplantation. This plant is growing so quick, I know this pot is too small. So I need to figure out how and when to transplant it and into what size container. This is a small tent 2x2x4. So I can only raise the light so high. And I don’t want to kill it during transplantation. #3. Training, when to start low stress training and exactly how to go about that. Need a plan for this. #4. Topping. When to top it, should I top it. Should I use a different strategy. Need a plan. #5. Humidity. I think I have a solution for this. I know what the humidity needs to be. I bought a humidifier but I did not buy a humidity controller may need one of those or just pay attention to it. #6. What am I missing? I feel like I’m forgetting something. Overall I think it’s going pretty well so far. Plant is growing fast and healthy though I suspect up until now is the easy part. The summer was super wet and humid so she lost 2 of the big buds to mold. Other than that she did great! really big, vigorous and heavy, dense buds. All arround winner. Really looking forward to the seeds. These plants are not mine. So it's week 3 of vege and it's looking good so far. Small plant big Leafs. Last week i did some topping ON her and she Looks good 💪🏽 the Future will Show US what will Happen next. Still Happy to grow it. 😄 I'm hoping for a purple Pheno 😄🙏

Day 14 VEG: A good week of settling in and heading outwards to the pots edges this week. No stress , just a nice, relaxed , adjusting to the world they will inhabit for the next 10 weeks or so. They are nearly all on their 5th nodes now so will possibly begin to play with the 5th growth nodes this week to break the apical dominance ( focus of energy on the main stem and bud) . I do like how neat and tidy autos can grow naturally but they can also get leggy and waste a lot of grow room vertical space that is always at a premium for me in my cramped , awkward space. I plan to now use 3 different methods on the Amnesia haze to compare side-by-side as we grow. Will hopefully answer some questions about the methods and which produces better results. One will be topped , one f.i.mmed and the last one trained over horizontal at the 5th node but uncut. The last method is better suited to a wider pot than the ones I am using but will be worth a try !. They are currently happy and healthy with no signs of any genetic issues but the #2 is in a more compacted soil which has resulted in an odd rectangular shape to her overall footprint. Her middle leaf points are retarded on all of her fan leaves so far and it will be interesting to see how she progresses too. The Girl scout cookies are also nice and healthy looking so far with no concerns at all. I plan to defoliation one of these ladies at intervals and stripped her right back during flowering while the other one is kept intact with a light defol as it grows to avoid light blocking only. Again this could answer a few queries regarding autoflowers and defoliation for a few of us. I hope to make this an interesting and informative run and welcome any comments , advice/questions or general chatter as we go along. Be well UPDATE DAY 15 LST. today I started working with the ladies and completed the planned methods for them #1 Amnesia haze had the F.I.M which inhopenworks ( irony at it's best!!). I chose topping of Amnesia haze #2 as she looks like her nodes will be quite far apart compared to the other 2 and her lower growth was nowhere near as bushy as her 2 sisters either. This topping should stop her pushing the height of the lights up for her lankinness. #3 is going to be pulled over on her 5th node once it is long enough to pin down to 90° . Girl scout cookies have been cleaned of their 1st and 2nd nodes so i can focus the attention on the 5 remaining mains as they grow out more.. watch this space.lol .

Well, this strain is surely flowering for a long time, it's still stretching. I wonder if it will stop stretching and start fattening the buds this week... Anyhow, one of the reasons why I don't defoliate much is because the plant does that by itself. When the lower leaves receive almost no light (because all the light is blocked by the thick growing canopy) they start to send their nutrients to the top. When they are donez they just fall off on their own. You see, leaves are like solar panels AND nutrient reserves! Just make sure this process is slow and the leaves that receive light are still very healthy and green. If many leaves are falling or if they fall really fast you gotta make sure is not a deficiency or nutrient lockout! ... Again just water your plant with bloom formula (and a bit of calmag) to an EC that allows you to maintain the plant heathly and the runoff not to high (in my case 1mS/cm). Remember to alternate nutrients and pHd tap water. That's pretty much all left to do from here to harvest. Obviously if you see something wrong try to correct it. Day 66 update. I dropped something on my plant. It bended one branch very badly and severed some leaves and a bud :( Well, accidents happen. Luckily cannabis is a very very resilient plant, one might be surprised at how much this plants can take. Anyhow, taped everything together loosely, pulled the most bent branches upwards with a thread and I will wait for it to heal... If everything goes well, this branches should be even stronger than the others. Let's hope that's my fate! Update day 69. Although I have been feeding with 1.0 mS/cm once, then pHd water then feed again, the run off from today measured 3.0 mS/cm ! It's climbing still. I flushed again, until the runoff was at 1.5 mS/cm. I think I understand what happened, my theory is that the plant needs a lot more water now, but not as many more nutrients. So it takes the 2.5 daily liters of water, but it might only eat the nutrients in 1lt of water, so the rest stays on the roots and accumulates, raising the EC of the soil. So far, by checking EC on the soil once every week or two I have avoided nutrient toxicity and lockout. I think there are two options, either lowering the concentration of nutrients I feed it (so 2.5 lts a day will contain less dissolved nutrients), or spacing out the feedings with more intermediate waterings of plain water. I think I am going to go with the former, next week I will try feeding an EC of 0.8 mS/cm on 3L then tap water and so on from next week on. I prefer to underfeed than to overfeed, which is what I recommend for other boobs, it's better to have some yield than to risk killing the plant. We will get better with time...
