Woche 10 Diese Woche wurde wieder mit Nährstoffen gedüngt da die Pflanze anfangen hellgrün zu werden. Außerdem hab ich in der Mitte der Woche final Canopy Management betrieben indem ich mit Clips und Co paar ausbrecher triebe nach unten gebracht das wieder alles so eben wir möglich ist. #16 (rechts auf den Bildern) ist nennen wir es "Charakter stark" hier habe ich die meisten Triebe nochmal runter biegen müssen damit sie eben bleibt bei ihrer Schwester #8 musste ich bis jetzt am wenigsten anpassen trotzdem sind beide wunderschön auch wenn ich das Scrog im 90x90 Zelt nicht perfekt voll bekommen habe sind wir dennoch bei 90-95%. Tolles Ergebnis für das erste mal Scrog meiner Meinung nach. Mitte der Woche gab es das erste mal PK Booster und ab jetzt gieße ich wieder mit deutlich mehr Regenwasser da ich vermute das die Salz Belastung wieder zu hoch wird in der Erde.

Day 99 dealing with annoying humidity issues seeing some damage on the leaves i think becuz of the humidity issue i got it all foxed up now an they look happier so hopefully i can maintain that the alien is showing no signs yet so shes really resistant to what ever it is so thats good Day 100 getting dialed back in im hoping iv fixed the problems Day 101 seems every plant is mostly happy but the qc blast still figuring out mayb a root problem Day102 trying a flush with hygro products the qc blast is still dealing with problems hopefully this will fix it everything else seems to be doing better Day 104 i think the flush fixed it 105 trics colors and smells coming in 🙌

Octava semana de los esquejes. Va todo muy bien, han crecido bastante y los dos se ven en buena forma. Les aplique una segunda defoliación para darle a más espacio a los brotes que pretendo conservar. A uno le doble en su totalidad una de sus ramas y respondió de buena manera, con esto puede verse más frondoso. Decidí sacar la malla para SCROG porque las 3 plantas que ocupan la carpa no están de manera homogénea. También así les podré dar forma con mayor libertad. Va quedando menos para comenzar la hermosa floración, solo estoy esperando que la planta mas pequeña crezca un poco más. Cualquier recomendación sera bien recibida!!

We started preflower this week. She filled out since the last defoliation and is looking really healthy. There is a bit of damage on a few of the leaves, but it's from where I was a little rough with the tiedowns around the growth tips. She has some damn tight spacing, making it hard to get the wires in there. She has a nice aroma. I wouldn't say it smells like cheese exactly, but has a pleasant sour note to it. I am going to be adding some VMC and ground Malted Barley this week, along with some Ful-Power. Probably another defoliation, too. I will try to take before and after pics. Update: When I added the VMC and Barley, I discovered that both pots in my tent were extremely light weight. I had been underwatering big time, slowing growth and causing some deficiencies. Since then things seem to be correcting themselves rapidly.

06/05/21 -Riego todas las plantas con 1.8 litros de agua y los nutrientes. -Los cogollos siguen engordando poco a poco, se nota sobre todo en los inferiores, que ahora están llenos de pelos. -Algunas hojas están amarillas pero supongo que será debido a que no les da suficiente luz. Las que están peor son las que defolio, además de 1 o 2 hojas por planta que tapan algunos cogollos. 10/05/21 -Riego las plantas con 2 litros de agua cada una y los nutrientes. -Se nota una pequeña quemadura en los cogollos de arriba de una de las plantas, quizás porque la luz estaba demasiado cerca. Estuve 4 días fuera y no lo pude corregir. -Por lo general las plantas siguen fuertes y sin ningún problema 11/05/21 -No se qué ha pasado pero cuando hoy he abierto el armario tenía uno de los cogollos de CCXLA1 cubierto de moho. Me fijé porque 2 hojas parecían un poco podridas y al tocar el cogollo estaba muy blando. Me puse guantes, corté el cogollo con unas tijeras e inspeccioné la planta buscando otros posibles signos de moho. Parece que no hay más así que dejaré la planta por ahora. La he defoliado más para que tenga más flujo de aire. -No entiendo cómo ha podido pasar esto ya que la humedad relativa del cultivo no supera nunca el 57% aprox y en general se mantiene al 50%. -Ahora toca estar muy pendiente estas últimas semanas para ver si se forma más moho que pueda acabar con la cosecha. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Still stretching but also flowering nicely, started her on advanced nutrients big bud today at full strength along with Ionic grow just for the last stretch. Bit worried about the EC so might drop BigBud down to half if there's any burning tomorrow fingers crossed she's fine.

Im Vergleich zur letzten Woche ist eine klare Entwicklung zu erkennen. Die Pflanzen stehen insgesamt vitaler da, mit deutlich stärker ausgeprägten Blütenständen. Viele Budsites haben sichtbar an Volumen zugelegt, die Kelche wirken dichter und die Harzbildung hat spürbar zugenommen. Besonders bei einigen Exemplaren stechen jetzt kompaktere Colas heraus, während andere weiterhin etwas luftiger wachsen – ein typischer Unterschied zwischen den verschiedenen Genetiken. Die Farbpalette hat sich erweitert: Neben sattem Grün zeigen mehrere Pflanzen inzwischen ausgeprägte violette und rötliche Töne, vor allem an den oberen Blättern und rund um die Blüten. Bei einzelnen Pflanzen setzt zudem die natürliche Herbstfärbung ein, was sich durch gelbliche Blattpartien an älteren Blättern bemerkbar macht. Das wirkt insgesamt harmonisch und passt gut zum fortgeschrittenen Blütestadium. In der Struktur ist ebenfalls Fortschritt zu sehen. Die Blüten haben sich weiter gestapelt, Internodien erscheinen „gefüllter“ und die Pflanzen wirken insgesamt reifer. Die Höhenunterschiede zwischen den Strains sind klarer geworden: Einige wachsen weiter in die Höhe, andere konzentrieren ihre Energie nun fast vollständig auf die Verdickung der Buds. Zusammengefasst zeigt diese Woche eine deutliche Reifephase. This week temperatures are really high here, more than 3 days above 30° C (86 F) I increased the watering amount to daily frequency. I use raining water that we collect in garden I also added few grains of fertilizer Nitrophoska in each pot, mixed with the soil and provided water. Plant #1 is now 69cm (27 inches) Plant #2 is now 68cm (27 inches) Plant #1 is now 47cm (18,5 inches) Now they all display 9 pointed leaves on new growing leaves of the central stem.
