I spent the week mainly transplanting. I transplanted the Sour Diesels (ILGM) from a Jiffy Pot into a 1 gallon fabric pot.😁 I really didn't have any issues this week everything is going well 👌. The plant(s) recovered 😷 from the transplant like nothing even happened. I would guess in the next week or so I will be transplanting into a 2 gallon pot, depending on how fast she grows. I like to go up 👆 in pot size gradually. I never really believed it made a difference. I would go straight from the Jiffy Pot to my end pot (3 gal, 5gal, whatever). Then I found some 1 gallon and 2 gallon fabric pot at a really good price 😎 so I bought them. I started out just trying a few plants and kept the plants that went straight into the large pots right next to them. To my surprise 😮 I noticed a petty significant difference in growth. Now I figure for a little extra effort 💪 whether it works or not it's worth a shot.

These ladies have started their final stretch. Pink kush will be the first one I harvest, I’m just waiting for her to put out a few amber trichomes and so far she has none maybe within the coming week. Canna-cheese has maybe 2 weeks left. She has the nicest fade I’ve seen so far out of the plants I’ve grown, but she for sure needs to get fatter. Strawberry Skywalker is short but thick, she’s barely starting to fade so I thunk maybe in 3 weeks she’ll be done, still no amber trichs and I’m sure she will get much fatter. Alien berries has surprised me. She was the runt and although a slim plant in veg, she’s putting out some fat knuckles, maybe in 3-4 weeks she’ll be done. Over all good conditions except for a couple spikes in heat a few days. Still no intense smell either.

What's up growmies!!! Week 3 is in the books, today is the official start of week 4. The plants are thriving and doing well. Tropicana Cookies is showing signs of rusting on the 2nd set of leaves. I'm not sure if it's due to heavy water getting on them or a nutrient issue. It hasn't affected any other leaves so I am keeping an eye on it. 1 liter of water ph'd to 6.5 every 3 days seems to be the sweet spot for now. After about a liter I'm seeing runoff. I have been giving them a 1/1/1 mix of general hydroponics Flora series, mixed into a 3 gallon watering jug so they are getting about 1/3 of the manufacturer recommended dose. Grow Journal Week Zero : Special Project Kickoff 🌱 Hello dear growers and growerettes, I’m thrilled to start this new grow journal, featuring a special project that I'm incredibly excited about. Here are all the details for Week 1: Plant Details The plants are already 9 weeks old when transplanted and have been kept alive through careful repotting. They are topped and include 3 plants of the Banana Krumble feminized strain from Greenhouse Seeds. 🌿🍌 Tent Setup I’m placing them in a 90x90x200 cm tent. They will be in 20 liter fabric pots filled with Living Soil from Florganics. Watering will be managed by the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil, as the soil needs to be kept constantly moist. 💧 Soil Additions Nematodes were added to the soil while mixing the living soil, not during transplanting. Control System Everything is monitored by my TrolMaster Tent-X system, thanks to TrolMaster, who kindly provided me with the controller. This system also controls and dims my lights. Therefore, I’ve decided to go back to basics: only one strain in the tent to refine my skills. 🌱 To focus more on one thing, I chose the Blumat system, which works particularly well with my living soil as it needs to stay constantly moist. During my last Automatic run, I introduced the plants around week 4, which was not the best decision. It was too early, so I had to top them to keep them small, leading me to practice mainlining. I succeeded with one plant, but learned a lot from the other two without any serious damage. After 6-7 weeks of growth under truly wild conditions in terms of VPD and stress, they were finally moved into their 20-liter Living Soil fabric pots and the humidity and temperatures were adjusted. Weekly Progress This journal starts in week 9. The ladies have perfectly adapted to the soil and recovered well in the 2 weeks since being placed in Living Soil. I will create a timelapse of the flowering phase; due to the above-mentioned conditions, it wasn't possible during the vegetative phase. At times, I was really worried about the ladies, but they seem to be recovering. I am excited to see what this run will yield. Watering Schedule An aquarium pump constantly supplies the watering watertank with oxygen. I am eager to take you on this journey with me. Let’s see how this setup works and what you all think! Trimmed out some, flushed and replenished the nutrients- looking at 3/4 more weeks until it’s done I think! Plant seems very healthy- and dense! I can see needing proper airflow in harvest will be important. Any insight on Hindu mints/kush afghani strains hit me up!

2-3 weeks left of flowering. Buds are starting to bulge out on the sides and are very dense. Only been getting a pine scent up until now, slightly skunky sweet smell starting to come through as well.

Last couple of days... No watering from today, (Day 129) and the light will be switched off as well from tomorrow (Day 130) so I will harvest them approx on Day 132 or 133 on the 18th week :)

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.
