🌱 Grow Diary Update — Sour Diesel Week 4 | First week of flower (12/12) This week, the spotlight is on Sour Diesel, because she clearly stood out from the rest of the room — and when one plant speaks louder than the others, we listen. ⸻ 📍 Quick recap (so everyone is on the same page) • Sour Diesel just entered week 6 / first week of flower • She was running on Autopots with mineral-only feed • Organics and amendments were removed from the Autopot system • The rest of the room handled this change fine • She did not She started showing: • Droopy posture • Loss of vigor • Early deficiency-type signals • A general “I’m not comfortable” look Important detail: 👉 She was the only plant reacting like this. ⸻ 🌿 Why this happened (the key lesson) Sour Diesel is an old-school genetic, and not all strains respond the same way to abrupt system changes. In her case: • She was previously thriving with organics + minerals • Removing organics reduced: • Nutrient complexity • Biological buffering • Availability of secondary elements • This happened right at the transition into flower, when demand increases sharply On top of that, we had environmental pressure: • Outside temps: ~4°C • Outside humidity: ~98% • Room stabilized at: 21°C / 58% RH Those conditions are acceptable — but combined with: • Feed change • Flower transition • Genetic sensitivity …it was enough for her to react. ⸻ 🚿 Why we took her off Autopots Autopots are great — but they’re not universal. We removed her from the Autopot regimen because: • She needed immediate, tailored feeding • She wasn’t responding well to mineral-only delivery • Hand-feeding lets us: • Adjust EC gently • Reintroduce organics • Observe response feed by feed This wasn’t a system failure — it was a plant-specific decision. ⸻ Current feeding strategy (now) • Medium: hand-fed (off Autopots) • EC: 1.43 • pH: 5.9 • Full recipe: organics + minerals • Added: CalMag Pro Why CalMag Pro? • We’re using rainwater + humidifier water, which is very soft • Low calcium & magnesium availability can show fast in flower • This is both: • A corrective move for her • A preventive move for the whole room Meanwhile, the rest of the Autopot system is running: • 2.29 EC • pH 6.0 • Mineral-only • Other plants are stable and happy ⸻ 🌬️ Environment (current) • Lights: stable • Airflow: good • Temp: ~21°C • RH: ~58% Nothing extreme — but this shows how context + timing + genetics matter more than numbers alone. ⸻ 🔮 What we expect (and what we don’t) What we expect: • Gradual recovery, not overnight • Leaf posture improving first • New growth responding before old leaves • Stability over speed What we don’t expect: • Instant “fix” • Old damage to reverse • Her to behave exactly like the rest of the room From now on, she’ll simply need a bit more attention than her sisters — and that’s okay. ⸻ 🧠 The bigger takeaway This is a perfect example of why: • There is no single “best way” • Systems are tools, not rules • Genetics always get a vote • Listening beats forcing We’re not chasing perfection — we’re responding with intention. We’ll keep monitoring her closely over the coming week and adjust calmly, step by step. As always, this is just our experience and observation — not a universal recipe. Day 56

Bubba OG Gum auto is doing good. I think I have a pest problem. It was starting to move its way to her. So I sprayed her down with neem oil mix and rinsed her off after about a half hour. Hopefully it eliminates them all over the course of the week treating her. It is last minute, but I want to get it done so the neem oil don't effect the taste of the bud. I also lollipopped the canopy today. Day one of week five! 19th September! Small amount of defoliation today as some leaves had been laying on the soil and were turning yellow. Other than that the girls look good I think. A little more LST but think Ive got a good even spread so far.. 🤞🏼 Nutes gone in today Biobizz: Grow/Bloom/TopMax all at 1ml per litre.. Day 3 of week 5! Update 21st September: Nutes gone in again today BioBizz Grow/bloom/Top Max all at 1ml per litre... Starting to see signs of filtered water deficiencies so CalMag going in on next feed @ 1ml/l. Wasn’t sure if my water filter was much cop but looks like it’s better than I thought. Wish I’d gone with my gut and started the CalMag earlier! Other than that I’m giving them a couple more weeks of veg and then we’re going to flower 🌷 all being well 🤞🏼❤️ Day 4 UPDATE: 22nd Sept. More LST to keep things all the same height and encourage more new growth sites.. Day 5 UPDATE - 23rd Sept: Last lot of Nutes for the week - BioBizz Grow/Bloom/Top Max @ 1ml/l and now that CalMag has gone in @ 1ml/l I’m hoping to not see anymore brown spots on my leaves 🤞🏼🍁 Happy growing everyone!! 🍃 🍁

Ya con el día 84 se da fin a este gratificante proceso. Fué una nena fácil de cultivar, a pesar de estar creciendo en un espacio reducido junto a otras hermanas de la misma familia. Eso no fué impedimento para que mostrara su calidad y unas hermosas tonalidades que mostró con el pasar de los días. Finalmente valió la pena esperar un poco más hasta el punto deseado, ya que la planta siguió evolucionando y mostrando todo lo que tenía para dar. Las flores se ven hermosas en el frasco; tienen forma de fresa puntiaguda y el aroma que desprenden hace salibar 🤤 es una mezcla dulce y tropical que a cualquiera puede cautivar. En el humo tiene un sabor frutal, cremoso y terroso con un final muy dulce y agradable.

She streched quit a Bit. Letting the soil dry out and then I'll see how she took IT.🙏 Day 55: looking better 🤗, needs more Magnesium and the soil is still very wet. Needs to dry out more👌🏻 Day 56: looking good 🤗 almost dry🤗

British Delight - Wizard Trees Day 41 - I've watered her with 2L of RO tap water with nutrients, mixed individually, in order, and finally pH'd to 6.3. This week, she has been moved from the veg tent, to the flowering tent, so she is now on a 12 hour light schedule. Much like the Wizard Fuel, she has already started the stretching phase of flower and has nearly doubled her size in 48 hours 👏🏻 So far, these girls have blown me away with their genetics, so impressive compared to other brands that I've grown 👍🏻 because she is stretching, I dont want to stress her too much, so I'll be keeping the training and defoliation to a minimum until she finishes her stretch and moves on to the bulking phase 🙏🏻 so far, really good!!

These girls are really starting to go nuts! We have come to the end of week 5 and they are already starting to pack on the bulk. I had a little issue with nute burn earlier in the week. I think it was because I was allowing them to dry out to much. I backed it down from 975 PPM to 700 PPM for 4 days and now I am back up to 800 again and they seem to be happy. I also think that my light is just a few inches to close. Its at about 16 right now and the leaves at the top are just not looking their best. It's a 340W light so backing it up a few inches shouldn't be to big of a deal. I moved it back to 20 inches from the canopy. Hoping this helps a little. The humidity here has been absolutely WILD! Tent fluctuates between 55% and 65% and I can't make it budge without the dehumidifier which raises the temp way to high. Outside the humidity hasn't dipped below 70% in over a week. Very strange, hoping that I can keep the room clean and keep enough air moving through the tent to avoid bud rot. FINGERS CROSSED

Zkittlez - Growers Choice Day 102 - Harvest Day!! 🎉🎉 She had been watered with 5L of RO tap water with no nutrients and pH'd to 6.3 a few days ago and was let dry back, she was watered again today, but on inspection of her trichomes and pistils, which were all Milky and Amber respectfully, I decided to harvest her! I chopped her down at the base of each stem and hung each stem to dry inside the tent, she will remain here for a couple of days in a low humidity level room before I move her into a dark cool room to complete her drying for around a week! She will then be cured in a glass jar.🤞🏻

Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are right on time for a small adjustment in lighting, PH and nutrients. 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) and the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work. Starting at a PH of around 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Cheech is taking nicely to the adjustment in light and nutrients, but CG 1 is looking a little bit too perky. Going to give her 24 hours to adjust. Day 10 - We have finally renamed CG 1. Fellow enthusiasts, meet Venezia. Day 12 - The root systems are clearly visible in the ladies today Day 13 - The ladies are looking well today. Venezia seems to be showing some light signs of heat stress with slight curling of the leaves. The lights are due to be adjusted tomorrow to account for the seedlings growth over the last week.

Last week plants were looking super healthy and responded very well to the second topping so I decided to flip the light schedule few days later. They already started stretching and the smell is noticeably enhanced.
