Northern Dragon Fuel has been growing good. She has gotten really hungry m, which caused my ph to start tracking upward. I have flushed it back down, and increased feed. Beside that it looks like flowering is right around the corner. This girl is growing like a sword – tall, slender, and cutting through the canopy with style 😅 She's stretched quite a bit, and down below she’s rocking four tiny side shoots that I’m honestly not sure what to think of yet. But hey, I’m letting her do her thing. Stretch seems to be slowing down now, and I'm starting to spot the very first trichomes glistening under the light, always an exciting moment! High Growmies das RF3 hält bis jetzt was es verspricht! Fifth week of flower and it was time to defoliate the indoor units as they were starting to get bushy and block exposure to the lower bud sites. Quick work with the bonsai shears and they were ready to soak in the sun. I left the rooftop plants alone as I believe having additional leaf mass enables them to withstand temp and environmental fluctuations better. Whether or not this is the case, it was an experiment.

I thought i was going too hard so I brought PPM down to 246 diluted with some rain water PH to 5.8. Leaves were coming out weird not sure if it was from the fimming i did or idk...But i did go ahead and topped her on all sites that i could top and gave her a haircut to expose those sites that were lacking exposure to light from the fan leaves blocking direct contact from the lights. Tied her down to maximize all angles of light exposure. She is pretty tough from all the shit i been putting her through to not fuck up this DWC

This week has been a super explosive week for growth! The girls flipped to flower and are stretching like crazy. Started showing signs of flower on Thursday this past week so when time for the nutrient and water change, I went ahead and switched over to bloom nutrients and put my trellis net up to prepare for the stretch and boy am I glad I did. Every morning I have been checking and topping off the res with either RO water or mixed nutrients, I have kinda been alternating between just water and nutrients, just watching the plants and letting them tell me. Everything is looking super healthy and going well. I may end up adding another trellis net Friday with the nutrient change if the stretching continues. It seems these girls are legitimately growing about 2-3 inches a day. Its crazy! Environment continues to stay in check, humidty is getting a little high, but should be able to bring it down with the dehumidifier in the lung room. I have been plucking a few leaves here and there, like very minimal, just to get some penetration to the lower sites and see if we can get them to stretch up through the net. Once the stretch finishes, I think anything that didnt make it up will be removed so that we can focus the growth to the top bud sites. Still learning, but that is the plan for now. Other than that, going to continue as planned and excited to watch these girls flower! As always any tips, comments, and recommendations always welcome and appreciated!

Quite a week!! I did a light defoliation on day 30... I just did a heavy defoliation again on day 36.... I hope they handle this well!! I watered them on day 31 & 33... I I fed them a half dose of all 3 nutrients on day 35... They are starting to stink!! The Cloudline T6 works great!! I also LST'ed them on day 30... they seem to be opening up pretty good... even though I was really late applying the LST.... still learning!! Alana is 16" tall and Anna is 20" tall... Alana grew 6" this week!!! Incredible! I've been battling some humidity lately... it's been in the low 60's for the most part... that's part of the reason I so heavily defoliated today! Otherwise, this grow is going really well!! You'll notice I moved them into the flowering 4X4 tent... I needed to make room in the veg tent.... I germinated 2 Seedsman Strawberry Cheesecake Auto seeds and I'll start their diary tomorrow! Cheers!!

Another week has passed, and we're closer to the end than I estimated. I chopped their mom on Day 70 and expected similar for her offspring, but we're now on Day 49, and the girls look to be done in a week or two. I've started seeing more frost, which indicates that the trichomes are turning cloudy. No amber yet, though. So there's that. It will take a while longer. But 21 days? With the senescence I'm seeing? We are currently working on the recovery from the initial stem split on plant A. She's almost all the way recovered with only a slight crack still remaining. Hopefully that split and the overwatering won't disrupt or stunt the growth of this lady too much. For the sake of experimenting I pulled off the first set of fan leaves that were stunted and discolored in hopes the energy used by the plant will be directed more towards the new growth. Plant C is looking great and loving the increased Par values from our light as we are getting good vertical growth and the main stem is looking super healthy. As we get through to the end of the week we will start transitioning plant A for LST in the form of tie down. The fan is currently applying pretty good stress to the already week stalk of plant A, but she again is almost 100% closed back up. The whole purpose of the fan is to strengthen the stalk with very light stress. Plant C will see LST beginning in 2 weeks as she is 1 week behind Plant A. Many people ask me about the LL on the guage and I will remind everyone, I live in a high climate desert around the 49th parallel so it's cold and dry. When the tent is closed I usually see rh values near 40% where the normal RH (Relative Humidity) is around 10%. It's just dry here. That said the grow community here and the quality of bud is top shelf as it gets. Rh doesn't necessarily impact the end results. End goal is still 360g harvest out of this tent we will see if we get it.
