Week 8 of flowering 11/6/24 Changed nutrients to FinalPart at 1.3 EC Buds growth slowed down, they are full and packing some nice weight, leaves color change started to get very noticeable with pink leaves showing more and more. Checking runoff PH and EC daily. Upped the PH+ to 7.0 to combat lowering PH in the rootzone. (seems like it slowed down the PH dropping) Runoff at 10-20%, EC within 0.2 range of initial watering. Used FinalPart for 6 days. 11/7/24 started to give only water to leech the leftover nutes from the media and get more fading color on the leaves,

Sep 27: did a Final Flush in preparation for harvest next weekend. Oct 1: I’m not sure if the buds would be described as lacking a calyx but this phenotype does not have nice buds. She has put on weight lately and smells nice so it will be good harvest that will be made into a concentrate. I’m going to be busy this weekend harvesting all three of my remaining cannabis plants. Oct 2: colas are getting heavy and one stem actually split leaving one side hanging down. The scrog nets were still holding it together. Decide to start harvest with colder weather forecast for this weekend. Holy crap. The buds on this phenotype are not good, but it is producing way more resin than my other three plants during hash washing. Harvested 2171 g of wet buds and sugar leaves. When dried, this would be about 435 g and there is another chunk of about 600 g wet still to go. From that 2171 g I got 125 g of wet resin (most of the water pressed out on 25 micron mesh), or 5.76% from wet. That is better than other recoveries so far this year were about 3-4%. With this resin production, she has earned back a couple of reviews stars. Update: on my other grows I wasn’t letting fresh buds freeze in ice water for long enough so I got poor recovery. Oct 4: harvested final of three chops. Was 880 g wet today which went for ice water hash. Total wet is 3051 g which would be equivalent to about 640 g of dried buds. Got better recovery this round using more ice to make it all colder before starting the wash. oh well, didn't maximize hash recovery off another huge plant. Live and learn. In 2025, in Edmonton, Canada at 53 N latitude, I got just over six (6) pounds (2780 g) of dried bud equivalent off of four outdoor plants. Lol

hope ... it's not too late to change to a 20-liter pot ... she grows healthy ... the days are cloudy ... let's hope it's abudant...

Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

First set of leaves were a bit light and what appears as some decent tip burn? Bucket was running hot on week two, but left it alone. She’s happy now that she’s starting to get the munchies. Most of the growth is looking decent. I’m going to top above the fourth node, and take the lower branches leaving 6 main branches to train. She’s topped but it looks like I will end up with 8 branches to play with. I may remove the bottom two?

Humidity is creeping up to where it should be and growth has been explosive as a result. Had to cull a massive Wedding Cheesecake Auto due to a FUCKING NUTSACK. Not growing that fucking strain again, and will be rating very low at Harvest diary Whatever, hope everyone has a great week

Day 57 - This lady is doing AMAZING! Almost the tallest plant in my tent & was the smallest when it went into flower! Looks & smells amazing already can’t wait to see how she turns out! Wednesday, January 27 Fed plants yesterday(26JAN) 3/4ga each plant. 2tsp/ga ratio of Bud Candy pH’d @6.3’s. Have a compost tea brewing that I will feed them tomorrow. Compost tea is comprised of 1 Cup of worm castings and a 1/4 Cup of bone meal powder. Bone meal powder is a great source of calcium and phosphorus to help in the flowering stage. I also added 1.5tsp of Great White Myco root powder to 3ga of compost tea. This morning I noticed little white hairs growing out of pistils all over the plants! Finally, signs of early flowering since switching to a 12/12 light schedule this past Saturday. Plants have shown a sizable amount of stretch in the past couple weeks so I’ve projected at about 6-8 weeks from now for a harvest? I’ll keep y’all posted on the days ahead and as always, stay safe and happy growing💚✌️🌱 Thursday January 28 Fed plants about 3/4 ga each of compost tea @6.3pH. Germinated 2 seeds had 50% success [still hoping the other pops up] chocolope #1 doing very well. They are in a 2'×2'×4' grow tent which they will spend rest of their lives as I'm trying my hands at cannabonsai. [Pretty calming] Lights are lowered close to dome to reduce stretch. This is week 2 from our of the humidity dome by the way (more details to come in the week 1 diary). In week 2 these girls are looking very good! Very nice color overall and nice growth. The clones clones I cut before switching mom to flower are taller, but the ones I cut after switching to flower are bushier. There are 7 clones of Cherry by Elevator Supply Co, these are a High CBD Hemp plant that I am growing and will continue to grow for producing CBD products. I am also a licensed Hemp Farmer. Then I have a clone of DinaMed CBD+ from DinaFem and 2 DinaMed CBD+ seedlings. Next, I have 3 clones of Cream & Cheese CBD from Seedsman and 1 clone of Critical+ from DinaFem. Last I have 2 CBD Medi Kush from Spliff Seeds. I have a separate diary for the CBD Medi Kush from Spliff Seeds, check it out 👍 I don't plan on feeding anything for a while and let the plants use up the nutrients in the soil. Smells likes Candy and Orange, really good strain, and hits really hard.

The time had come for Lady Candy. About 20% of the trichomes had turned amber, so I decided to harvest it. I estimate that I will get about 30 g of dry buds, but we'll see in a few weeks.
