Hey guys, allot happened this week. Mid week on Wednesday I did a major heavy defoliation, she was very bush and allot of internode growth. I clean up everything and allowed more light pen. Also nipped any undesired off growths. Shaping how I want the plant to grow. Basically lollipoping. As you can see I also started to install 4x 1/2 bamboo sticks to help support the plant once she gets bigger. I had problems last year late into flower and don't want to repeat same mistake. I also amended the pots with 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284 @ 2tbs/gal. Iv only water once in the past 7 days with the Aquabak. Not enough data to review the product. We will see. Other than that we have had plentiful thunderstorms and have not required to water. Thanks to the felt pots, they did not get flooded with the amount of rain we got. Prolly 50-100mm worth of rain. Sometimes things don't go the way you want to and are out of your control. That's precisely what happened to me last week. In the middle of summer, it wouldn't stop raining for over a week, causing the humidity to skyrocket in my room. That's the last thing you want in week 8 of flower, especially if you don't have something like a dehumidifier. So unfortunately I found a spot of botrytis developing on one of the main colas... I cut off the whole cola that was infected. The next day I found another spot, unfortunately, so I decided it was time to cut my losses and harvest what was left. I would have loved to let her ripen a week or two more, but that's life sometimes. Fortunately, there are still 2 big, main colas and lower buds left!

15th day into flowering- Trim some Fan leaves /anything cover canopy. 18TH DAY FLOWER- LOLI POPPING. JUST WATER EVERY 3 DAYS PH 6.5

Fattys are growing and seem to be thirstier.Used foliar spray to help the leaves and also started tucking. When the plant was topped pistils were seen for first time.

Harvested Around 220 Grams from 3 Plants, terps were there slightly, smoked fine, its alright, went with a differnent breeder after.

She's putting on some weight now, getting fat and frosty. Her fan leaves are yellowing out, time for a big defoliation and a bit more leaf tucking and give her another lollipop trim of her u der carriage. She's bulking up nicely now putting on some weight and getting the autumn shades coming through now. She a heavy feeder

It’s the first week of flower!! I’ve been having troubles with knowing where to foliate and direct the growth with these plants. As 2 seem to be growing faster than the other 2! Over all looking good I think.

Northern lights is ding some bulking. She has a sweet citrus earthy smell. She is growing well and looks like some frosty goodness to come. My first grow has been a great learning experience, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. From the reliable BioBizz soil and nutrients to the impressive performance of the Spider Farmer SF 1000, everything worked well together. Each component contributed to a successful harvest, and I’m excited to continue experimenting and improving my setup with new gear and techniques.💚

Harvested after 3 days flush and two days night after recommended 9 weeks. Got 2 phenos. One better and more representative of the strain description which i kept a clone of to S1 and stabilize. As usual uploading here is a pita it didnt upload my videos again really annoying, but pics show the better strain is stronger bramches, stretchier, and better buds. I cut them in the video so no one cries i didnt harvest lol. Smell is from sourish sweet to sweet and mossy like a green slurpy or something. 6 week testers were potent and frosty already so i cant imagine after proper harvest and cure.

I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 1 gal every other day now. Growing strong. Just did another spinosad treatment. I haven’t seen any more thrips in the greenhouse since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

Everything is going great really starting to bush out and pop with smell n pistals, very happy with crop king seed . The smaller more bushy teenies are the gdp. Very pretty plant overall starting to smell ☺️ Happy growing

Supercropped one tall branch of the Red Mandarine #2. Hope it doesn't hurt the yields. Plants have been recovering and are mostly green now. There's some serious stretch going on in this tent! Flowering is happening really quick especially with the Mandarines. I moved the lights after I discovered a lux meter app. I had as low as 10,000 in some places, so not only are the lights closer to the canopy but I angled them to get more light down to the shorter plants. Just reset the clone fridge and they were all looking healthy except two which I didn't put enough water in.

Week 8 of flower and she looking good but not done in both look and trichomes might need 7-10 more day to finish the ripening of buds. She does smell super good even though stay in 30 degree Celsius condition around 2 weeks which is not optimum but it's the best i can do for her. The clip with flash on show her trichomes very clearly and frosty, however she is around 80% cloudy another 15% still clear and some about to turn amber can't wait for her to finish. End of the third week of the stretch and they certain out did stretch indeed😳. Had to crop over the tallest female - she just stretched wayyy too much and that’s gonna go against her in the rankings when we draw out our seed on each plant. The first male has dropped fully and the others are another 1-2 days out from harvest. We’ll collect all that pollen and store it for future use if it’s needed. The plants are all showing both similarities and differences - there’s an even distribution of sativa and indica leaning phenos which suggests that there is def. Some variability in terms of traits for this F1 generation. Exactly what we were looking for as we pare this down to the second filial generation. On the overall growth - absolutely no issues at all with nutritional deficiencies which is a welcome change of pace. The last while we’ve been growing some strains that have shown very odd reactions to nute changes and I suspect this is a result of certain strains simply being bred out too far. Hard to say but the radar is definitely up with the well known breeders right now. We have some real winner pheno clones that we’ve rooted and will be flowering out once we get this tent cleaned up and free of pollen. All told, the run is progressing much better than anticipated and with the rate of turnover through transition, I’m happy to say that there isn’t any one plant I won’t consider test running on the next cycle. We did have some og auto genetics in the tent for pollination as well but that plant is looking like a bit of a mutant. Not sure if we’ll even bother with testing it at this point but you never know. Expect a harvest update on the males as we move in to the flowering side of the grow and then it’s just waiting around for seed👍. Alls well for now. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts.
