Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. I took a sample off the bud to see how it’ll look dried, so the plan is to cut the plant off Sunday! All I wanted is something to smoke and at this point I’m happy that seems to be the reality after the drying&curing process! Amazing feel! Some powdery mildew starting but shouldn’t be a problem if I cut soon!

1 - 03/27 - Starting up week #2. New light is installed, will be monitoring the set up now since the new light is 800w. Tent temperature peaked yesterday at 85. Added a big fan in the tent and an additional fan for circulation outside of the tent as well. Going to need my air scrubber sooner than later to help keep my temps in check. Likely need a cool mist humidifier as well now. Woohoo. At least they are all still standing! 2 - 03/27 - The new LED at 800 watts is far too much. The tent was heating up uncontrollably past 86, so I decided to take it back and grab the single 400 for the time being. That way at a later date I can upgrade to a secondary 400 and still pull equal wattage. Also added a 6in inline fan to help keep the tent cooler. Sitting around 76 -80 now so I'm pretty happy with it. The 400 run quite a bit cooler than the 800 does. The 800 brought my tent up another 10 degrees whereas the 400 unit sits my tent up at 3 degrees. All in all, feeling good about the swap and new lights. Time will tell if I need anything additional come first week of flower 03 - 03/31 - Almost nearing the end of week 2. The girls are doing amazing. Candy Cane is finally catching up and everybody is filling out now. Super cool to see what a week does! 🌱 Each of the ladies received some very light LST last night. Light pull on the leaves downwards to pull the top open and create some more developmental growth. I also decided to run a really light liquid nutrient cycle. A good first week from all the girls overall. They continue to develop as planned. They got watered with the spray bottle until Friday when they got a real watering. This girl is doing well. Right on track for any plant. A decent growing little plant. I think at this point in flower it doesn’t like 18hours a day of light. The other auto gorilla cookies loves that much light so this plant has to deal.

Today no watering maybe some defoliation below the net but that it cool beans 😎 Day 9 Flowering phase Didn't see the plant for 20hours and jebus they grew over night they went up 15cm . But they are looking healthy Gave them almost 1.2L nutrients was getting dry that was it . Day 10 flowering phase Today adjust some things in the tent it didn't feel a right not to happy with tents quality 🤔 also it's very challenging to get to back corner plant. I need to fully open the tent. There are no peak holes ore other opening to get to the back . And it feels unstable . Plants i only did some final defoliation and gave 0.5l normal water Day 11 flowering phase Plants looking okay to me. Didn't water them today want to let them dry out some . I think because of all the watering i am Struggling with the humidity in the tent . It is around 80% and that little dehumidifier don't do jack patetoe . Def need to think of a solution for later in the weeks Day 12 Flowering phase Gave nuts water and put a 2nd ScrOG up a little higher . Everything looking good that budcandy and Big bud from advanced Nutrients are working like a charm . I have bin semi keeping to the recommend advanced Nutrients schedule and i think works for me . I have here and there play around a bit but they seem to not be having problems with that . Advanced Nutrients is getting 10/10 for me Day 14 Flowering phase Week 2 of flowering phase complete It was a learning week for me . Got bit scared how they grow 15 cm in a day . But it's seems to be oké i got still some real estate left. I think that i am not giving them any water what so ever . I need to learn to let them dry out some . Also a bit struggling with humidity in the tent . I am trying to give them water right before light on ore right after light out . Most of the girls have been switched to straight fresh water at this point, with the exception of the few that look to need another week or two before flushing. Dropping the room temps and tossing a few ice cubes on top of tops before watering.

I am pretty excited. 🙂. They are coming along nicely. The ladies arms are getting more and more swollen every day. The stretch has stopped. I have done some more defoliation (can't keep my hands away from the damn scissors. Lol). I will update throughout the week. 😎

Dank des Super Wetters hab ich hier 77%-80% Luftfeuchtigkeit (draussen ist es noch höher ) und es wird auch noch warm . Ergo, schon gestern hat meine Pflanze extreme Probleme mit der Wurzeltemperatur bekommen und hat die Blätter hängen lassen . Ich hab das Licht runtergeschraubt und Abluft extrem erhöht. Ventilation direkt in die Pflanze sonst gibts Schimmel . Aber hilft halt nicht wirklich . Luftentfeuchter läuft auf Dauerschaltung und produziert dann auch noch Wärme, die ich überhaupt nicht gebrauchen kann bei den Temperaturen draussen lol. Ein Teufelskreis :(((((( Day 55: + 1.75 Liter Flaschenwasser + + Dünger für Blühte + + + Canna Terrar Flores (Achtung wirkt wie PH-) + + + Canna Boost + + + Cannazym + + + Canna PH+ + + PH 5.88 Draussen sind 31 Grad , ich hab den ganzen Growroom + Vorraum (meine Wohnung ) über Nacht runtergekühlt so weit es ging (23°C und 22°C). Das Licht noch weiter reduziert dafür näher an die Planze gemacht. Das ist wirklich das mindeste was noch geht. Liegt ca bei PPFD 600 an der Spitze . Wenigstens ist hier die Luftfeuchtigkeit im Rahmen , zwar immer noch zuviel (67% im Zelt) aber besser so als das hier die Hitze in die Höhe schießt . Nach 12h Licht (19:00 Uhr) wird dann wieder aufgedreht und die letzen Stunden mit mehr intensität nachgeholt was nachzuholen geht , denn dann gehen hier erst wieder die Temperaturen runter . Day 56: Läuft wie gestern ab 19:00 wurde das Licht aufgedreht und DLI nachgeholt .

The grow was super easy, steady growth and sturdy strength, no deficiencies..fed 3/4 strength General Hydroponics nutrient line. Ended up topping her three times, giving her a total of 10 tops. Overall medium height with an amazing manifold and unbreakable stem. Harvested on day 65, an absolutely great strong structure being able to hold it's weight of 101 Grams⚖️️. An easy grow with an amazing taste, smell, and smoke. Recommended completely for all growers 💯

60x60x120cm tent. Basic cheap one not sure what brand, if any. 200w CFL for veg, and a 250w HPS for bloom. Gonna continue with biobizz and maybe a couple of other supplements later down the road. Soil is biobizz allmix. Says pH ready so no need to adjust. Hopefully that's right!
