Flower tent is ac infinity 4x8 tent. With two spider farmer sf-4000. This tent has the exhale 360 co2 grow bag. The nutrients are not what each plant receives. Each stage gets its appropriate nutrients. I will be going back and trying to name each plant in the 2-7 feeding

I dropped the nutes from 4ml to 3ml and the yellow leaves were trimmed down. I added water in week 9 but didn't update the journal. It's been getting warmer and humidity has been rising. A dehumidifier was added last week to the outside room. I changed the system to have a lower humidity setting for the flower phase.

This week is week three and growth has begun to pick up on both plants. They are growing branches, which is the first node beginning to form. I lowered the light to the 8” inches off of Cookie Monster, since she is the tallest at this point. Noel is growing her first node too even though she is much smaller than Cookie Monster. Right now Cookie Monster is 2” inches tall and Noel is inch and a half tall. This week they both are starting Perfect Grow nutrition and The Coffee spread. Next week I will add boost to the grow nutrient and continue the coffee spread.

Again I haven't taken any pictures of this plant was on the side of the fan that didn't go down I've inspected her all over and I've found no evidence of mold or bud rot. This plant is now drying separately to the offer plant I just didn't want to take photos for it all to end up in the bin but this should be a nice harvest

Good news: managed to transplant a tree out the ground into a neutral space. Took 5 days to bounce back. Tallest plant is growing with no stress Bad news: male plant found. My 2nd tallest and favorite plant looks to be male and will be cutting it

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

Week 3 - Should see a lot of growth this week. Maybe try to train them a little this weekend. I kept the one girl a little too wet for a little too long and got some yellowing on the bottom leaves. Already starting to correct itself. I’ll give them a few days to dry out a little and adjust to their new digs then I’ll hit them with some nutrients… FoxFarms Dirty Dozen week 3 scheduled feeding at half strength. Day 17 - fed/watered 1/2gal per pot. Ph’ed @ 6.3 Day 19 - watered with carbon filtered tap water (forgot to ph. So ph was 6.9. The soil itself is pretty acidic, so the runoff ph still tested at 6.3. And we’re 12 hours in now with no adverse effects). Gave them about a gallon each (till I saw about 10% runoff). Day 20 - moved the lights from being hung directly from the tent frame to hanging on a hoist. This lowered them about 4”, which increased the temp to 82, so I turned on the exhaust fan to bring it back down to 77. In a small tent like this, atmosphere control is most of the work

Weather isn't so great at the moment. Lots of rain. Had a few slugs so have put down some slug pellets around but not too close to the plants. The branches are nearly holding their position after being tied down. Still no flowers but must be coming soon

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week I laid the terrible stretchy net (seriously people, just dont buy them) but added some surveyor string to add the needed tension. That means all the wire can come off and I know these stalks were happy about that! Training did not go nearly as well as I hoped, but looking at 6-8 colas per plant.

WASN'T RESISTANT TO CATEPILLARS UNFORTUNATELY. IT'S ONLY END OF JULY. IM IN SOCAL. ITS GONNA BE A HOT LONG SUMMER. IM SURE I CAN SQUEEZE IN ANOTHER CYCLE OF AUTOS. I'LL SET SOME OUT BEGINNING OF AUG. I HAVE ANOTHER 5 PACK, I MIGHT AS WELL GROW ANOTHER BATCH.
