Here is a video tour of my back yard jungle. I am in the process of a huge clean-up now that the plants are ripening up and the buds are getting heavy. I'll post some photos tomorrow once the work is done. Some of the fan leaves are coming down now to promote light penetration and air circulation... don't want mildew.

It was a long grow, or at least it seemed like it, everything was looking so good so I was ready to harvest at week 9 but these bugs took a long time to mature.

This week has been good both plants are growing great with no problems in there transition to flower they jus started to stretch so I hung the 600 watt lamp at 24 in and will lower it as they flower but a very productive week so far. Gonna add nutes at the end of this week so they will have some nutes to fall back on when bud sites appear

I am now flushing her with plain Brita filtered water PH'd with lime juice to lower her PH. I initially first flushed her with 42L of water and now I am flushing her once a day for 8 days and then I will put her in for darkness for 3 days and then I will harvest her and dry her for 9 days and then cure her for 28-48 days.

This week I sprayed the purple haze with silver water and will be mixing this beautiful purple haze with the cheese to get some purple cheese 🧀🤪 The 9 cheese girls are doing greet. Now I'm going to let them restore for a week. Check you next week

Fully into flower. Filling in well, smell coming along nicely (some are like lemon candy, some are a little more skunky). I had a Mars Hydro TSW2000 sitting around so I added that in between the two lights/beds which really helped to even out the PAR. Dead nuts in the middle of the beds is about 1000, the edges are about 700. Super cropped a few that were just reaching too much. Put up some trellis, I think I'm going to need the supports, and helped to spread out some of the stacks that were going to be a little too close. Did a little more defoliation. It's really just maintenance at this point (and standing there admiring and smelling over and over) Been mixing up a little organic nutrient cocktail to supplement with, using BuildASoil BuildABloom (soy protein hydrolysate, rock phosphate, gypsum, magnesium sulfate, potassium sulfate), Fermented Plant Extracts: Liquid Pumpkin Extract (Probiotically Grown Pumpkins, Clean Mountain Water, EM-1, Home Made LABS (Lactobacillus Serum), Super Cera Powder, and Molasses), BuildASoil Aloe and the Quillaja extract. I'll do a foliar spray first thing in the morning and replace the first fertigation of the day with this same mix (at the normal EC and PH level). They seem to love it and respond really well. I really want to switch over completely to organic living soil, I'm probably going to after this run, so it's fun to experiment with some of the ingredients.

It was a very nice week. She is growing fast and loves low stress training. There are still little flies but they are not a danger for the plant. No problems, no deficiency, only pleasure. Coco is ready for flowering stage 💪💪💪

Hello everyone, and thank you for stopping by! Growfather is back with the official germination update for the Frozen Bananas F1 hybrid by Barney's Farm. This is officially Part 2 of the journey. I already have two older plants of this exact strain crushing it in their vegetative stage, sitting exactly 7 weeks ahead of this little one. Running a staggered timeline like this is going to be an incredible learning experience—watching the older girls transition into flower over the coming weeks will give me the perfect blueprint on how to properly train this new little beauty when the time comes. This seedling definitely gave me a massive scare right out of the gate! I germinated the seed last week, and it sprouted beautifully. However, I left a plastic humidity cup over it, which caused the moisture to skyrocket. The tiny seedling got completely covered in water droplets, and under the intense grow lights, she basically turned into a micro-greenhouse potato. I honestly thought she was a goner and wouldn't make it—talk about an identity crisis, I wanted Frozen Bananas and accidentally gave her a tropical steam bath! But nature is resilient, and 7 days later, she has officially recovered! Current Environment & Light Schedule Light Cycle 24/7 Continuous Lighting Light Intensity 75% Power Temperature 21°C – 24°C Humidity Above 62% There isn't too much else to report for now since she is just finding her footing after her initial sun-baked spa day. So this week is week 1 of transition, I have cleared about 40% of the girls fan leaves trying to make sure I get as much light penetration as possible I have about 16 main colas on a couple and between 8-12 on the rest looking for some solid results, going to add all the good stuff next week and lets get ready to watch the magic happen!!!

Day 43 : Watering with co2 tab / 5L. Also added food again because i think they need it. Increased ppm to 850. Maybe the next one will be pure water. Ventilation works all the time when lights are on. Temp and humi are stable and this is good for the girls. Although she is indica, she still grows. 9 cm in 3 days. So i guess this is the reason her buds are a bit behind. Patience is the key always. Also removed some burned leaves from all ladies. Edit (Day 47) : Watering with co2 tab every 5L. I watered with juices again at 850ppm because i felt that they need it. Only WC drank pure water because of burns. She grow 13cm in 4 days. An indica pheno stretches like she is in preflowering stage. And this i think is happening. At start she took a lot of air and maybe she felt cold. So, now she started again to develop. I make a prediction that her buds will be really fat. She is very healthy and responses absolute perfect to the nutrient schedule.

9/22/2024 Added 80W LED lights below the canopy. Tilted the other 200W fixture to point into the canopy. Relocated circulation fans to keep air moving through the bush! Great flower development is continuing. The stretch is almost complete, but it is still stretching. Super cropping may be right around the corner. With one bucket removed from the system, the new system volume is right around 7-8 gallons. 9/23/2024 Forced to do a water change after a massive spike in PPM up to 2400. Cycled the system with about 5 gallons of pH water and pumped off about 4 gallons. Replaced 3 gallons containing appropriate nutrient concentration to get PPM back to 800 -900 range. Increased lights to 85%. Super cropped some of the lanky main stems that were growing right at the lights. Light directly over the plant is pretty much maxed out on height at this point. Looking to increase intensity by the end of this week to 90% and then to 100% by the end of week 5. Continuing to defoliate larger fan leaves a few per day. 9/24/2024 Plant is looking incredibly healthy even after the water issues. Some trichomes starting to develop on sugar leaves and flowers. There are tons of flower sights, I am excited to see how they continue to develop!!! 9/25/2024 Moved the light up to its last hanging position. There are only a few more inches of adjustment left. Trying to avoid late supercropping if I can. 9/26/2024 Pruning large fan leaves and fan leaf overgrowth. Looking to leave a lot of the smaller leaves for sugar trim collection if possible. Humidity is not an issue yet, but working to maintain 50-60% is getting close to maxing out my setup. Continuing with light defoliation will hopefully help in managing humidity. 9/27/2024 Have been adding pH-adjusted water as well as reduced nutrient concentration to keep PPM 800-900. Prioritizing bloom nutrients and keeping small amounts of micro and grow in the mix, diamond nectar at around 4mL/gallon.

Day 96 Had to tie more branches up! They’re starting to get really heavy so they’re bending. Looking good!! Day 97 Nothing to report 🤙🏼 Day 98 Really starting to see the hairs turn brown. Getting close! Day 99 Brown hairs developing and starting to curl in slightly. This is definitely going to be 2 separate harvests. The one plant (which I believe is a different strain) is going to be ready much quicker. Day 100! Finally got a good picture of the trichomes! All clear still. They have a while to go! Day 101 Starting to really watch the brown hairs closely. They say once 70-80% of the brown hairs have curled in, that’s the best time to harvest. I will mix that train of thought with keeping an eye on the trichomes to see when they start to get cloudy and I should be able to harvest at the right time. Day 102 Added some more water this morning. It’s working out to be about 5 gallons of water needed every 3 days. Going to continue to just add to the reservoir and once I think they are close I’ll do a ripen week and then a 3 day flush. Kapow!
