Day 8 - First official day of veg and both ladies are looking good and on schedule for a couple of changes. Nutrients: 10ml of Hydro A & Hydro B were added to both buckets (10L of water in each bucket) PH: the Milwaukee PH controller was set to work - starting at a PH of around 7.6 - 7.8, it slowly worked down to a perfect 6.0 over about 50minutes. Lights: The lights were readjusted to be 60cm from the seedlings who are all between 8-10cm tall and the intensity of the lights were increased to about 70% brightness. Day 9 - Both plants are taking nicely to the adjustments and I am happy with the progress. Temp and humidity are stable and PH is controlled. Day 11 - The second nodes are clearly visible today for both Chong and Max which would hopefully put them at 3 nodes by the end of the week - right on schedule! Day 13 - The ladies seem to be showing some signs of heat stress, so thinking about adjusting the lights after their period of dark today because they are due to be adjusted tomorrow anyway for the new week of veg

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I harvested one of the three critical purple plants I have today. I've been flushing it all week and finally, today was the day I cut her down and moved her into the dry tent. I trimmed one nug to dry a little quicker so i could try it out because I'm impatient. Lol As for the other two.. well they are looking great I've moved them under they're own light for the remainder of the time they have. I'd guess that I have maybe another week. They're just now starting to cloud up pretty good but still no amber color after scoping them today. I dont foresee any issues with the rest of this set. These have been super easy to grow and they smell nice and potent. On my next post I'll have the dry weight from the first plant and I bit of a review on how she turned out.

removed a few leaves to give each a little more space. the soil is a mixture of already "used and fresh earth", as well as a little perlite and lava rock and plenty of smelly pre-mix from biobizz.lol let's see how four of them get along in one pot.lol * tools for irrigation.lol: the sliced detergent bottle is demanding as a tool for hand watering. costly and time-consuming, but since you can adjust the water flow speed, every centimeter of soil really gets damp.lol and you can use it on all sizes of pots. (the plant in the last picture is another plant, fastBuds gorilla cookies, meanwhile, in my opinion my favorit.lol )

Oct 19: warm October continues and this plant will be harvested in a few days. Three days with snow starting 3 days from now so that’s it for the season. Drilled a couple of holes in the trunk. Idea is to stress the plant to spur trichome production. Did this before and not entirely sure it helps, but why not? Oct 20: these buds are getting stinkier and frostier just in time for the season here to end. Smell was quite noticeable this morning so I’ve bumped it up to Strong. All the buds are looking fairly frosty too so this Gelato is finishing strong. 👍👍 Oct 21: harvest day because in two days, Monday, it will be below zero all day and likely snow. Oh well, a longer than expected season allowed this gelato to finish fairly well. Trichomes are still white, and actually I rarely see amber trikes on my plants and I think that’s due the weak sunlight here in the fall. My best option here is to aim to harvest by the end of September. This plant was not billed as being fast flowering so I expected it to be a bit slow, plus it is a sativa pheno, so I feel lucky that it has finished as well as it did. The weather here was definitely good for cannabis this year with the only real hassle being wildfire smoke.

Another successful week plants aren't dead. Did some more defoliation this week to allow light to penetrate the smaller colas at the bottom of the canopy, still haven't found a feeding schedule that works for me, going to cut my feedings in half next week because I'm starting to see some minor nute burn on the leaf tips. Good week though I'm pleased with it onto week 10/week 5 of flower!

Day 23 - Annoyingly, one of the main shoots snapped off after I pegged it down. It was fine when I left it, but as it is such a vigorous grower, it snapped off under the pressure of its own growth. All is not lost, as I will top it 4 times instead of my usual 3, to make up for the lost buds. This plant appears to be a BEAST so I think she can take it no problem. I should end up with 24 glorious main colas and a load of b-grade for the hash making pile! I gave her around 2 litres of treated water (see germ page for details). Around 500ml directly into the base of the plant, and the rest spread around the pot. It's important during this late vegging stage to water into the edges of the pot as much as possible, and encourage maximal root spread. Big roots = big fruits She's starting to smell earthy! Day 28 - she doesn't need any water today. The pot is still heavy. She's growing fast, so I'm confident I can top her one more time. I've pegged down 4 of the arms into a circle shape around the edge, and tied two arms together pointing vertically straight up. It should look stunning in a couple of weeks!

Tag 25: Umtopfen der 4 Schwestern in 11 l Air-Pots. Ich habe Bio-Bizz Coco mit ca. 20 % Perlite gemischt. Auf jedem Boden der Airpots habe ich ca. 5 cm dick Blähton (Plagron Euro Pebbles)als Drainage und bessere Luftzufuhr an der Unterseite des Topfes eingebaut. Von 6 Pflanzen, die 4 ähnlichsten und gesündesten ausgesucht. Die Blattfarbe ist schon „sehr“ grün😁, daher wurde in dieser Woche die Düngezugabe etwas reduziert. Ich werde es diese Woche beobachten und wahrscheinlich nochmal reduzieren. Die Mädchen benötigen nicht viele Nährstoffe. Sie entwickeln sich optisch eher Indica mäßig, klein, runde Blätter und buschig.....wir werden sehen. Die Temperatur schwankte zwischen 19 Grad in der Nacht und 25 am Tag. Die RLF schwankt zwischen 45 und 55 %. Heute werden die Ladies getoppt, dass gehört jedoch in die nächste Woche.... also dann mehr dazu ✌️🏾

Another easy week. Bud and trichome production seem to be on point. This plant is truly maxed. She is 18 inches with about 12 inches being above the scrog screen. She stretched a little more than expected. She was supercropped in several location and didn't skip a beat. Obviously, the angle of my camera doesn't give the whole picture. But now there's some buds that can be watched in development. I'm fighting night time humidity. My little Vivosun dehumidifier can't keep up. Likely a future upgrade as I'm sure I'll struggle to get to 50% with lights on next week. Temps when my light off could ideally be lower as well. Not enough that I see the need to invest into anything like an A/C. Loving to see the little bits of purple start to come out. I'm sure lower night temps would amplify that. I did a final top dress of Build-A-Flower, an 1/8 cup of Craft Blend, and a topping of Kashi followed by a half gallon watering with the listed nutrients once at the beginning of the week.
