Super Skunk

I'll be generous with the grading here because I'm 99% sure these were old seeds that weren't stored in ideal conditions. One also certainly came out a lot better than the other. Short stocky plants with some nice bud sites - very low yield though in general. Very nice aroma that's starting to shine through as it cures/dries. Unlike last year, even the smaller yielding plants are producing some great buds - less of them, but dense and nice aroma. I'd take the Seed Stockers 'Sticky Fingers' over these if you're faced with the choice. See the other diary - got some great yields from them, and all plants were treated equally throughout this grow.

I love Spliff Seeds strains! They are all such kickass genetics in every way! This one did not disappoint and smells and tastes great! I will definitely grow again!

this was a disaster but lots of valuable lessons learned. nutrient lockout started around week 5 and got drastically worse. not even a re-planting was able to save it. moving forward i'll be abandoning soil in favor of a coco coir-based medium which should work seamlessly with my cloth pots and wicking system.

Very impressive genetics 😊 Grew huge and heavy, can recomend this strain to everyone. 😀

These were originally in a tent. They became stuck in preflower for weeks. I had to put them outside, 12/12 to get them to flower.

i have only smoked a little from the lower buds as i am only into the second week of curing, nice buzz and i haven't tried the top buds yet

Oh these poor Skunks. I did not do them justice at all. They started out as healthy as the Fruity OG with beautiful shape and foliage. I messed them up by getting too happy with the trimming shears. And nute locking them twice at the wrong time. And transplanting them from buckets into bags a week before budding when they were already too big to transplant. Plus the lights were only 300 watts of white full spectrum for most of the grow with me gradually adding 170 watts of coloured LEDs in the final month. The plants would have been much better if they had gotten that extra 170 watts for their full life. I gave the plants 2 x 12 hour days of nothing but Blue light. I noticed the buds developed a little purple colour and the frost looked thicker. The aromas got really strong by tonight. I got a hint of that roadkill skunk in the last week so if this cures with that strong aroma I will grow this one again. Again, with proper care this could be a nice producer. Dry, cure then PUFF. Notice the photo. The 3 skunks are hanging from the 2 hooks on the left. Ya, the smallest bunches. I will be lucky if there is a 1/4 oz. Oh well, next time. Weight when dried. Smoke report when cured They dried out a lot faster than I wanted. A whopping 12 grams so 4 grams per plant. Now hurry up and cure damn it. After a sample of near cured bud I am not really impressed. Very little of that roadkill skunk aroma or taste. Super Skunk is a cross of Northern Lights and Skunk #1. It tastes more like Northern Lights. It does hit pretty good, like Northern Lights, nothing wrong with the buzz. This is a pretty good strain, just not what I was looking for. After an email to QCS they recommended Skunk #1 so once the CBD run is finished I will do Skunk #1 and maybe Acapulco Gold.

She smells beautiful

The smoke is super sweet & the skunky aroma is definetly there. I will run this one again for sure I think it could have gotten a little larger but im very happy with the smoke. I have no complaints. Very resistant to mildew. It's also obviously pretty quick.

2 out of 3 have nice hard buds now that that they are dried. The biggest plant was a little looser with the satellite buds, with the exception of the main cola which was dense. Easy to grow, even with me trying out a new nutrient line (Cronk -Bonnie and Clyde) which I would also recommend for Autoflowers, with a Cal/Mag supplement of course. No sign of weirdness or disease, I did not have any issues with powdery mildew or mild of any kind and they were pretty large main colas. These have a good nose, I would call it a fruity skunk, not quite the super pungent skunks of old… but not bad either. I did have a quick taste from a clean bong; and the smoke is earthy with a fruity pungent smell and taste. They dried for 9 days, and are in the Jars curing now ❤️🇨🇦😎💨 Smoke Report: Not the strongest Auto I’ve grown, but It has a great nose every time I open the jar. A nice clean smoke, that’s not too heavy and easy to smoke. I used a 1 gallon jar for the bulk of it, I ended up with 208 grams from the 3 plants. I will use it as a daytime smoke, and keep my stronger more couch lock stuff for the evening ❤️🇨🇦👊

Grew very well. Resilient strain that handled my technique above average. Very sweet smelling buds with a hint of diesel. Definitely a good route as it’s easy to grow!

toujours une strain exceptionnel. On avait envie de revenir à quelque chose de plus classique niveau fume, et on est pas déçus : elle met une bonne cartouche qui chatouille bien derrière les oreilles, avec toujours son odeur caractéristique de putois qui lâche sa caisse, et son goût typique. Une strain de fou.
