I've Grown this strain from this breeder before, I think there should be a "After Cure" page like this because I'm 3 days into drying, And there's no way I'm going to rank the taste or smoothness for the current run, I will come back after 4th of July and edit this week to be fair. LAST TIME i grew this strain the quality was very good, for my level of growing at the time. It's been a few years, but from everything I see this looks way better than I did last time.
I have always used General Hydroponics/ I use a few non-GH products for foliar, but always GH, I have never had an issue. I always want to switch nutrient line to advanced or canna. But I have never had an issue, I just always want the best better taste, I guess the only problem I have ever had with GH is the Monsanto's stuff you hear when people find out you use it. I use the COMPLETE Flora line, and it works, good, I 1/2 the dose early on when I use less water, but once in flower, I was mixing 8 gallons of water, 5 gallons worth of nutrient, makes my math easier, and plants love it, I feed EVERY day, I don't do feed water water, I feed every time, every day, I do drain to waste, I break down and wash my own coco, and mix in my own perlite, I have been using less and less perlite, I am going back to more perlite I feel I can reduce my cost if I use less to get runoff, I actually emailed Garden of Green a few months back I had asked what nutrient line I should use for their seeds, Jul, Julien emailed me back, Best answer, It's all on the grower, I think the downside after reading his email, is the time I spend mixing, It feels like a science class.
I Used to use FloraKlean. Then I just started doing a fresh water flush alone, but I did some reading and Flawless Finish made claims I am interested in seeing if it good, You know how coco lightens up after you flush? Seemed to happen faster this time using this, maybe because I wanted it to feel that way? But so far I'm Happy, I'll know how good it worked in July
Bought this as my first led the month they came out, I was an HID guy, Mars Hydro didn't have the best rep with their blurple lights, but was considering trying quantum boards, I went with Mars because of the price, This is the light that sold me on switching all my lights, I'm actually Interested in their new line, But this a real good light for the price
I just moved into a new spot last year, trying to figure out how I want the room set up, the last 2 runs kept taking my bedroom from me as well, I have to rearrange my grow space so I can keep it all in there The beginning of the grow in mid veg I got spider mites on these, LUCKILY they were in my bedroom, not the flower room, 1st time every in 6 years I have had a pest issue, AND OMG !!! I had slacked on my azamax preventative, and I paid for it, I will not make that mistake again, bleh! so I got it taken care of before putting them in flower room, I overvegged, I'm newer to a scrog. last one was so smooth, this time it turned into a carpet, and I got scared it might mold, lol, so I took out the net, for two days. it helped, I had nice tops EVERYWHERE, but they were now unsupported, so i had to use my yo-yo's, lost half of them, that was awesome, so yeah it was fun, always is, I found out the truth behind pest prevention over pest removal, I will be scrogging again, but won't veg as long, and less plants. I'm actually having problems lowering rh during dry, At my old place it was the opposite, It was overly dry. I'll update this section in July as well to be fair about how it turned out
Is co2 worth it if the goal is to make rosin? I am thinking about fresh freezing all of this and making dry ice hash rosin. Is co2 a waste if the goal is rosin? It doesn't help trics, just vegetation, so I may end up lighter, but that should affect rosin yield, should it?
Co2 will increase your yield because it helps during veg, more yield more biomass for the press , more bud more rosin . It’s as simple as that really. Hope this helps ‘ 🚀
Looks nice!
I am looking forward to your yield and quality report in July. I'm getting ready to set up a 74 plant perpetual harvest grow and am considering using some of the Mars leds
@AutoponicDreams, what kind of footprint are you putting them in? I was taught how to grow using ebb and flo sea of green method, I was packing them all in with 9 inch square each. I really like doing the sea of green, its a lot easier to manage single cola plants, I'm in a 12.5 x 14.5, but only grow under a 5' x 10' area.
It's been 15 days since I cut them down, I've had it in 5 gallon bucket, 4 of them. I have it laying out today to get my humidity down it keeps climbing to 67% rh so I'm leaving it out for a couple hours today in a 60rh room, smells grassy, but it is getting better a lil, I usually wait at least 3 weeks before I worry about great smell,
It's day 65 today, I wall be cutting on day 70, so the last two nights, and the next two night i have don 10 hours of light and 14 hours dark, and the last two days I will go total darkness. The morning of day 70 I will cut.
