Day 23: Mar 04, 2021 Watered with: Purified Water 8ML CalMag 8ML Buddha Grow 8ML Trinity 8ML Surge 10ML Ancient Amber *per gallon PH 6.2 EC 2.10 Temps: 68F-70F Humidity: 50%-60% Day 24: March 05, 2021 Still having issue with what looks like Mag deficiency. Getting yellowing along edges and veins of the leaves while veins are green. Started with oldest leaves and making its way up to newer ones. I think its unlikely the solution doesn't have enough magnesium in it and pretty sure there's probably a PH issue going on. The Roots Organics nutrients being used does have a significant swing in PH. I let the solution sit for 24-hours before using in watering as PH rises significantly. Noticed PH even continues to creep up 48-hours later. Tested runoff and it was showing PH of 7.2 despite watering with solution PH 5.8-6.2 every watering. Going to try switching to Mills Nutrients next watering and see what happens over the next couple of days. Watered with: Purified Water 8ML CalMag 8ML Buddha Grow 8ML Trinity 8ML Surge 10ML Ancient Amber *per gallon PH 6.2 EC 2.10 * Runoff PH 7.2 Temps: 68F-70F Humidity: 50%-60% Day 25: March 06, 2021 Switching to Mills Nutrients and watering with: CalMag+ - 10ML Mills Nutrients Part A - 10ML Mills Nutrients Part B - 10ML Mills Nutrients Start-R - 4ML *per galllon (Using RO water) PH 5.9 EC 2.67 Watered with 1L solution per pot to get near 100% runoff. Girls are still in 1L pots. Planning to move to 3.6Gallon Superroots Air Pots tomorrow (just waiting for some air hoses for reservoirs in the larger space) Day 26: March 07, 2021 Moved girls to 3.6Gallon Superroots Air Pots, added endomycorrhizal fungi to support root development, and moved into main tent under 2x Gavita 1700e LEDs. Watered each pot with 1-gallon solution mixed with 5ML CalMag+ per gallon PH 5.8. Setup water reservoirs each with 15-gallons and mixed solution for next feeding: RO Water (0.08 EC) CalMag+ - 5ML Mills Nutrients Part A - 10ML Mills Nutrients Part B - 10ML Mills Nutrients Start-R - 4ML *per gallon 2.02 EC 5.8 PH Day 27: March 08,2021 Girls are settling in their new pots. Going to give them a few days to settle in and will likely start with topping and training this weekend. Watering: 8PM-830PM ~1 gallon per pot Reservoir 1: 2.02 EC Ph 5.8 69.6F No topping off / First watering Reservoir 2: 2.00 EC Ph 5.8 68.9F No topping off / First watering Air control: 74F-77F 50%-60% humidity 700PPM-1000PPM CO2 Lighting: Gavita LEDs @ 100%; 24-hours on UV bars off / 0-hours on Day 28: March 09,2021 Nothing eventful to report, just watching the grass grow. :) Mag deficiency issue seems to be resolved with nutrient change **knock on wood**. New growth is looking nice and healthy and issues with old growth has stopped. Watering: 8PM-830PM ~1 gallon per pot Reservoir 1: 1.83 EC Ph 6.1 69.6F No topping off Added ~150ML h2o2 Reservoir 2: 1.82 EC Ph 6.0 69.8F No topping off Added ~150ML h2o2 Air control: 74F-78F (Lights On) 68F (Lights Off) 50%-60% humidity 850PPM-1050PPM CO2 Lighting: Gavita LEDs @ 100%; 20-hours on (8am-4am), 4-hours off (4am-8am) UV bars off / 0-hours on Day 29: March 10,2021 Everything is still looking good. Watering: 8PM-830PM ~1 gallon per pot Reservoir 1: 1.79 EC Ph 5.8 69.8F No topping off / no adjustments Reservoir level ~11-12gallons Reservoir 2: 1.79 EC Ph 5.7 69.8F No topping off / no adjustments Reservoir level ~11-12gallons Air control: 74F-78F (Lights On) 68F (Lights Off) 38%-55% humidity ~1000ppm CO2 (Lights On) ~650ppm (Lights Off) Lighting: Gavita LEDs @ 100%; 20-hours on (8am-4am), 4-hours off (4am-8am) UV bars off / 0-hours on

Look like Zinc and Calcium deficiency? Watering with 5.8/5.9pH, 2.06 EC (Runoff 5.8pH, 0.78 EC) Few leaves had small nutrient burn on the tips earlier this week. Nutrient burn appears to have tapered off.

Definitely looks like a ph issue. Have you tried to calibrate your ph meter?

Great set up my man, how long are you growing?

@GuerrillaNo_4, Thanks! This is my first grow in about 9-years now. I grew for a couple years previously. Cut a lot of corners back then though and caused myself a lot of headaches lol Trying to be proactive this time around and maintain a bit more control on all the variables.

@greenthumbartisan, im presently in my first hydro grow and am using a torus hydro perfect ph balancer drop in and I haven’t had to adjust ph AT ALL as of this point. Might be due to large res with single plant but they make an inline version as well you might want to look into and could still add to your system at this stage. Was skeptical of their claims and am still in veg but appears to be working! Your plants looks great!

@TheCode, Gotcha, yea I've saw quite a few designs using PVC and scrog on youtube. I also saw a video on one Mr Canucks channel and grabbed the scrog nets he used. (found size that worked perfect for my setup) From there just played around with PVC pips to build a proof of concept for my needs and once I had the measurements down, I built 8x of them. Like 10 years ago I tried growing under 6x 600 watt bulbs and grew some pretty big trees; however, I spent two months having to army man crawl through the room to do basic maintenance lol. That experience was my biggest motivation to try and build something more modular this time around. Still a few quirks I'm running into with my setup, but will hopefully get smoother and smoother over time. 2G per watt will definitely be god . This is my first attempt using LEDs. Been a long time since I've grown, but the tech seems to have come along way since then. So far I've been very impressed. Hoping to see a good harvest them. As far as the pens, couldn't agree more. For the bloody cost, you would think maintenance would be easy. They're a thorn in the side. Every time I test, there's always the thought in the back of my mind, is this thing even accurate? lol Would be nice to not have to worry about pH (feels like its the bulk of the work) Good luck with your goal! hope you hit that 2G/w bar

@greenthumbartisan, Well especialy for newbies when they start this hobby all ph things can look difficult I mean knowing what pen to buy how to keep it working it looks the TDS meter is much easier to maintain and use because it's simple device, but with ph pen it lil bit annoying lol for me i change those cheap pens every year ,every new grow try to calibrate it and when im using it and finish using it put it in distilated water take it out and just put the cap back so idk cant really keep it really nice i dont have a fckn laboratory it;s little bit annoying .
