UPDATE (02 MAY 2021): The autos are showing first signs of flower and I think they've been responding excellently to the LST training. I've only been giving the girls water every 3rd day, and I moved the lights up about 8-12 inches. I'm super impressed with the growth so far! As far as the photos are concerned, the cherry grapefruit is only 1 or 2 nodes behind the white widow. Once they both have over 5 nodes I'll top them down to the 3rd to begin main-lining. As always I welcome any advice and happy growing everybody! ๐Ÿ˜ Quick UPDATE (04 MAY 2021): I'm about to take a trip out to Lake Tahoe so I just wanted to give a few updates real quick. I added a humidifier to up the humidity, and I've switched from Velcro to wire plant ties for LST for easier manipulation. HUGE MISTAKE: Using the Velcro to LST the auto jack I accidentally made it too tight around the end of the plant and completely cutoff it's supply of air/water/light. The leaves turned black and I was forced to top her because of it. I'll provide pics in a few days but I'm really hoping she's going to survive and/or doesn't provide a weak a$$ yield. ๐Ÿ˜“ UPDATE (05 MAY 2021): Just got back from Tahoe and it was absolutely beautiful! I'll post a pic I took from just outside of King's Beach. As far as the girls are concerned, the Cherry Grapefruit was jealous of her White Widow sister and decided to try and catch up in growth. Her fan leaves are already larger and extending past the edges of the fabric pot. Speaking of White Widow, I finally topped her tonight and removed all the lower growth below the 3rd node. I will tie down the growth tips in a couple of days when they grow out more. I'm continuing to LST the autos and I think the Auto Jack is going to recover from the incidental topping. The Auto Purple Kush is growing fantastically and I'm super excited to see more flowering. Besides that, I just watered them again last night and gave them another shot of nutrients with a small splash of tiger bloom.

Fox farm usually runs hot so I wouldn't add nutrients until week 4-6, which autos at that time is usually going into bud cycle.

I've always gone from root cube directly to 3-gallon pots. I can't compare the difference with transplanting from solo cups because I don't have any experience. Have any of you found a significant advantage to adding an extra transplant? I figure 3-gallon pots aren't THAT big.

Hi mate, the less stress you put on a plant the better. I pop the seeds then go directly to 3 gal autopot. Roots don't like the light so the less you expose them the better. Hope this helps. Good luck

I'm researching intake fans and/or opening lower ducts to pull air in. I never worried about intake in the past, I just made sure my fan up top was sucking air out of the tent to create negative pressure. Thoughts on intake fans or having the back flap of the tent open? Thanks!

No real need for an intake if your outtake is powerful enough. Keep the vents on the tent open when lights are on. Close them on lights off to avoid any light leaks .

My Cherry Grapefruit has developed a decently sized tap root but it's taking her FOREVER to break through the root cube. Do you guy's think I should give up on her? She's already a week behind my other 3 plants and I'm already limited by a pretty small grow space. Thanks!

Yeah sounds like it could just be a bad phenotype. Iโ€™ve scrapped seedlings that were just not growing as well as her siblings. Especially if they are all growing under the same conditions

Filtered Water (BRITA) VS. Tap Water? Which do you use/prefer? I've always use filtered water for my girls but I'm worried it might be overkill. These filters aren't cheap and sometimes I have to sit and wait forever if the pitcher isn't already filled up. Thanks for the help!

It totally depends on your water. My water is from a well and provides all the calcium and magnesium and some other micronutrients my plants need so I do NOT filter.

Which nutes do you guy's prefer? I used the Fox Farm's Trio last grow, but I'm wanting to try something new. Currently looking into the Humbolt's Secret Formulas A&B. Thanks for the advice and happy growing! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Hey, Iโ€™m using Biobizz and itโ€™s pretty decent. Itโ€™s an affordable choice, plus organic grow doesnโ€™t need flush. Also the risk of a toxicity is more eliminated. Iโ€™m using though some bud stimulants from Advanced Nutes and they do what they say! Hope you choose the one it fits you. Cheers ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ˜Š

The growth tips on my plants are super lime green compared to the rest of the leaves. Is this a problem? I'm growing in FFOF and I've given very little CalMag and P-T-K so far.

Morning Mate, IDK... looking like fresh exposed shoots. Via the pics I do not think that you have a problem, green of the fan leaves is maybe a bit dark but nothing to worry I'd say. Good Luck for the rest of the way!

Good luck with your grow. I hope you have more room for your girls than what is in your pic. I also use TPS Bloom and Signal and really love them. They have used my grows tremendously. ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘Œ

some autos flower after 2 weeks, some do it after 7 weeks. I've had multiple pots of the same strain before, they didn't flower in sync and this is not a problem at all. Getting the same pheno with every seed is quite impossible or at least very rare for autos. breeding background brings a huge variety, this is the downside of autos.Give it some more time, assuming you'll wait for autos to finish before switching photos to 12/12 or else, even if jack is not an auto it'll be very big. just give it some more time.

@HighRoller909, Awesome insights, I appreciate the advice! It does appear as though the Auto Jack is just flowering SUPER slow compared to the PK, so I'm taking your advice and waiting it out. I did originally plan on waiting until the autos were done, but I'm getting worried about space. 3 more weeks and I'm switching regardless! ๐Ÿ˜…
