Everything is off to a rough start. Between damping off and spider mites it has been one challenging start to my second grow. All my plants are twisted and deformed from all the sprays and the fact that the root riot cubes won't stay adhered to the soil around it. It can't get much more difficult from here.
Got the plant transferred to a 3 gallon pot. Plant didn't even notice. Two new tops are coming in very good. Got a little bit more stretch than I anticipated over the week. Had to transplant it a little earlier than I expected. Just harvested my last plant from flower tent. Just got to clean it out and I'm moving her into the bigger tent with several other plants to veg a little bit more.
Plant is growing like no plant I have ever had before. All of the other plants started at the same time are dwarfed by this beast of a plant. Hoping to take clones in a week or two.
This plant is a beast. Nothing you do to it will stop it from growing. Transplant no effect on growth. Super cropping already vertical with a kink in the stems where a big knuckle is forming. Tied down the side branches and they still powered their way up to almost even with the super cropped tops. This thing is a beast and will not be denied. Hoping to take clones this week and finally put it into flower. I wish any of my other plants were anywhere near as strong as this one.
Edit: I found one weakness. The vacuum cleaner. I turned to see what my dog got into and swiped the plant with the vacuum hose tearing up some leaves pretty good. Plant immediately looked sad. Damage isn't terrible but I am sad I hurt my best plant.
This has to be the last week of veg. I have been transplanting all my plants the last couple days. Only 4 more to go then let them settle and "Flip the Lights!!"
Say it like the tv show "move that bus". I have one plant that is struggling but I can't wait on it any longer. It's either gonna plant up or die. Scrog will be going up for this side too. I added two 6 inch flanges to the tent closer to the hoods height and location. Added new fan for air cooled hoods. It's already helping a lot. This cleared up an 8" opening to put in a bigger intake fan aswell. everything is starting to come together. Finally got
my 2 sour tangie regular seeds to show sex. One female one male. Male will be exiled to an outdoor location. Most likely somewhere at my camp. I want some of it's pollen so it gets to live for now.
Super cropping wasn't working any more. The plant would correct itself in an hour or two. So input up the trellis and super cropped them again under the trellis. The plant doesn't take any shit. It just straightened right up and pushed the trellis up with it. This plant is gonna hit the light in flower. I already know. I'm gonna get another trellis to put up higher for oner last with effort to slow this thing down. Nother but tap water all week
Plant was looking a little rough towards the bottom. Which means that was a little late reemending soil. So I had to use some Dyna-Gro grow nutrients with some cal mag and silica blast. It definitely looks like it's back to normal. I defoliated and lollipopped a little bit last week. Going to finish it tonight. Going to go 24 hours darkness then to 12-12. Pretty much all the cuttings that I lolly popped off I tried to clone. We are batting zero out of 14. Amazing how they look perfectly fine in a cup of water for days to weeks but you pop them in a root riot cube and they start to die in a few days.
Been a couple of weeks. Have been super busy trying to figure out how I'm going to fit all these plants through flower in my tent. Moved three up to camp and put two more in my small downstairs veg tent. These plants have gotten out of control. Very very large compared to my last run these are probably two to four times the size going into flower.
Got too close to the light. Had to super crop several branches. Hoping the stretch is coming to an end. Defoliated a little but plant looked stressed out. Added some liquid nutes because plant is yellowing on the top and bottom but not the middle. Entering troubleshooting mode. Only plant having this problem but also the biggest plant bar far.
Oh boy. This thing is a monster. Basically all of the branches can no longer support there own weight. I had to add a second scrog net. The buds are looking amazing but she is still yellowing faster than I would hope. Too dressed and watered with plain tap water.
Just cut a single top too check it out under a better microscope. It might actually need a few more days to a week. But I would be stoked about this none the less.
Update: time to harvest most of it. It's looking good.
Got the whole plant hanging and some branches separate because it was a bush. It's very purple and smells a lot like fresh baked cookies.
@Sweet_Seeds, this red hot cookies is a monster. Never had any plant like it. I grabbed some clones but I always have the worst luck with clones. But there is no way I'm letting these genetics get away. It's unstoppable. Gonna prune before starting flower. I commend you on producing a seed of this quality. Off to see the wizard. The wonderful wizard of buds.
Congratulations! 👏
