Germ week:
Welcome to my first grow report.
English is not my native language, expect weird words and sentences. Sorry.
Will try to update this report once in the weekend.
I wanted to do a Livingsoils VS Biobizz grow, just for fun because I got both lines at home.
I can only grow 4 plants at a time so its hard to do a comparison.
Most important for me is easy of use (livingsoils will this one haha) and problems when flowering starts.
Most problems will occur at this point.
Also a big factor is taste!
This is my 100% germ rate way to germinate, tried many different ways including seed starter kits but they all suck.
04-27:
1 - Dropped seeds in a shotglass with a tiny bit of Real Growers Recharge (Tried this last time and it really seems to work)
2 - After 8-hours all the seeds sink by the touch, this means they are ready for the coffeefilter.
3- Seeds in coffeefilter with the water + Recharge and hang on a warm spot (80 F)
04-29:
Seeds are ready (they could have been planted on the 28th but was too lazy)
05-01
First seeds broke through the soil.
Soil preparation Livingsoils:
When using LivingSoils u want to cook the soil for about 2 weeks.
I had to put 6/tblspns of Wormcast and 6 of GrowAUTO per pot in my soil and mix it up.
Watered this with Real Growers Recharge (use this stuff a lot) and let it sit for 2 weeks.
This is the reason there are so many nutrients in germ week.
Week 1:
Currently vaping some homegrown Seedstockers - White widows AUTO which is amazing!
She did very well in my last grow! Just started vaping (Dynavap) so I could switch sometimes between bong and vape.
Here is my little grow closet, you can expect a full closet haha.
I really want a bigger one, just cannot do this in this building.
I cleaned my closet before this round but couldn't get rid of those water/recharge stains. It looks dirty but is has been cleaned.
Nothing special this week.
Those butterflies are against the gnats, I expect them again and once I've seen them I get nematodes.
The 2 Biobizz plants are in the back and livingsoils in the front.
Biobizz: ---------Forum Stomper ----- Double Grape
Livingsoils :-----Double Grape--------Forum Stomper
Week 2:
- My little friends are back, Gnats. I try to name them all but they are with to many.
- Try to fight gnats with nematodes, thanks to BudgetGrows!
As you can see, they are back. The Gnats.
Ordered some nematodes and added this on the 12th of may.
Grow is going fast but I see 2 weird things happening.
1- Double Grape - Living Soils is growing a lot slower but I let doing her thing. Sometimes the slow starters surprise.
2- Some lightburn on the Single Leafs on both Forum Stompers (living soils is a bit worse)
Lightburn started around may 11th. Did raise the light and it doesn't get worse.
Did switch to 20-4 also due lightburn (DLI), it also feels more natural with a short dark period.
On the first dark period (13th of may) I sprayed the plants and top soil with a special mix. To keep top a bit wet due to the added nematodes.
I made a mix with a little recharge and a 1 tsp aloe vera x200 extract. Plants seems to react nicely.
Read some positive things about Aloe Vera Ill post some more info further down.
hour before lights ON I sprayed with plain water to rinse of the recharge.
The Double Grape in the back is growing like crazy. Getting a bit afraid of her.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Here some info about Aloe Vera (info from build a soil)
Aloe has two main properties that we are interested in for growing plants.
Salycilic Acid: Makes this dry powder excellent for cloning! Willow root isn't even as good. Aloe vera contains Salicylic acid which is an aspirin-like compound with anti -inflammatory, analgesic, and anti-bacterial properties.
Saponins: Another constituent of Aloe vera includes saponins. These are soapy substances from the gel that is capable of cleansing and having antiseptic properties. The saponins perform strongly as anti-microbial against bacteria, viruses, fungi, and yeasts.
Aloe has Salicylic acid. Salicylic acid is involved in local and systemic plant defense responses against pathogens. It plays a role during stresses such as drought, chilling, heavy metal toxicity, heat, and osmotic stress. SA can volatilize and warn neighboring plants of attack. Cool Stuff! Thanks to Pseudomona Lisa for the quote.
Week 3:
- Watering more frequently
- Lowered the lamp to 65cm
- Aloe vera mix for spraying once a week.
Plants are doing great!
Watering more frequent now as they get more thirsty.
In the weekend I water them till runoff with Recharge.
Throughout the week I only water when the plants get thirsty + the biobizz plants get their feeding.
Normally I would water every other day but when inspecting my soil after my last grow, one of my plants got a big dry spot, this was the reason she was a real small but great plant (I think)
I was giving them 1-1.5L every other day (when top was dry) but after experimenting it started giving runoff at about 2.3-2.5L waters. This was way more than I was giving them.
After discover this in mid flower they started to flower more vigorously.
Lowered lamp - 65cm from largest plant
Once a week I make a mix with some Aloe Vera x200, you can see the results in week 4.
Week 4:
- Lowered the lamp to 60cm from canopy.
- First time adding Living Soils, 3 Tablespoons Wormcasts and 3 Tablespoons Grow AUTO. ----- Thanks for adding the AUTO line to GD.
- Did some LST with Bendz/Plant bends
- Sprayed with Aloe Vera after LST
- Cleaned closet
- Big thanks to BudgetGrows, no more gnats thanks to him :)
Did some LST just before dark with BendZ/Plant Bends. Never used them before but they work great and really fast!
You have to remove the bendz after 1 week, stem should stay the same as with bendz.
we'll see how this works out.
After the LST I made some spray with 0.5L PHd water (6.5) en 0.5 teaspoon of Aloe Vera 200x.
You can see before and after photos. Not sure Aloe has something to do with it but they grow like crazy.
Will spray again next week until flower really starts.
Big thanks to BudgetGrows! Always having some problems with those damn gnats, tried everything I could find on the internet.
Hypoaspis miles - top layer with clay pebbles (they really love this one) - drying out soil - sticky traps - Diatomaceous earth - washing nuts with aloe vera 200x spray , but they keep coming back.
He told me to get some roundworms/nematodes, I cannot believe this worked so well. In about 1.5-2 weeks every gnat is gone.
Still have some sticky traps but I cant find them anymore, even when watering.

LivingSoils is great to work with, kind people and really fresh stuff, its covered with Mycelium.
Will add some photos later this week. Plants love it!
Its really easy to use, much better than 6? bottles I have to use for the BioBizz way. Even more in flower.

First run with BioBizz.
Plants seem to love it but it has so many bottles......
website: https://www.biobizz.com/
Currently not many differences.
Plants in Living Soils seemed a bit weird at first but they are doing great now.
The BioBizz plants seem to love it! Both ways the plants are nice dark green.
This is a small test with autoflowers, and not the most stable Mephisto's, so its not the greatest example.
Most important for me is the smell and taste of the end product.
29-05
Last update for this week. Plants are growing like crazy :)
Week 5:
- Flowering started in the end of last week
- Removed all the Bendz clips
- Watering with recharge and Aloe Vera
- Defoliate
Flowering started last week, one plants is a bit behind, the Forum Stomper - Biobizz.
I expect that she will start flowering this week. Plants overall grow nicely, almost double their height in one week.
Removed all the bendz clips and placed one on the main steam Forum Stomper - Biobizz she was to small earlier to bend the main stem.
You can see the results from these clips on the first photo on the Double Grape at the Arrow.
These clips work very fast and will use them again, the clips itself are a bit sharp, beware with placing and removing them.
Today is watering day, will water till runoff, PH'd water with recharge and some Aloe Vera.
I do this once every week, plants seem to like this no droopy leaves at all. Just let it dry for a bit before watering again.
Next watering this week I will feed the ladies again with less water about 1.5 liters.
Did some heavy defoliation today. It will stress the plant, curious if there will be any difference.
Ill defoliate a lot (about 2/3th) of the plant, I have to do this due to the little space I have. Otherwise budrot will appear near the end because of to little airflow.
As you can see on the pictures its already full (60x60cm)
All plants seem very healthy at this point, the plants fed with BioBizz seem to start getting a bit more hungry.
The Forum Stomper - Biobizz is a bit slower but is the biggest of all, I hope she is ending the grow "spurt".
Week 6:
- Plants seem happy after the brutal defoliating yesterday
- Watering more frequent
The last 4 weeks I watered till run-off once in the weekend and did a normal watering halfway the week when needed.
Normal watering is between 1-2L depending on plant and size, this worked great for me.
In the weekend with Recharge and mid week BioBizz.
Now the moment has come I have to water more frequently, BioBizz has around 6 bottles + Callmag and Silic boost so 8 Bottles in total.
Just fed 2 girls with living soils, really easy and its once per week from now on.
I do not now what happened last week, is that stretch normal? The only new thing the plants have in common is the Aloe Vera.
I know they can stretch a bit but this went fast in a couple days haha.
Will wait with the Aloe Vera until the last one stopped shooting, just to be sure, I like it as it is...
Had to water till run-off last weekend and on Wednesday and friday. Watering more frequently now - every 2-3 days.
Doing alternate feeding on the Biobizz. One of the livingsoils seems a bit burned (the Forum Stomper on the left)
Will wait a couple days before feeding again.
Had a very busy week, next week more photos and hopefully some nice budshots :)
Week 7
- Tried to level the plants
- Changed formation from plants (again)
- Gnats came back from vacation
- Too much nitrogen?
This week I had to level the plants more evenly to keep a nice leveled canopy.
The Forum Stomper (Biobizz LEFT-BACK) is still growing like crazy, I really need more space haha.
Also changed the 2x LivingSoils plants.
Gnats are back from holiday! Did buy nematodes again, we'll see if this helps before harvesting.
Plants grow fine and I can see a lot of trichomes!
The smell is getting stronger everyday, 1 off the plants really smells like the Sour Stomper, this is my all-time favorite!
Will back down the Recharge from now on.
And I think the livingsoils ones got a bit too much nitrogen, this is user error. I think I used a bit too much of the Living Soils products.
Still happy with both ways of growing!
- Started "flushing" 2 of the plants
- released nematodes into the wild
Started flushing both Double Grape plants.
Plants look good! Planning to harvest these girls in 1-2 weeks, first amber is coming up.
The other 2 plants still need some time and they can use the space very well.
Released 5 million nematodes and will release another 5 million this week.
I know its a bit late.
I only water when needed, so every 2-3 days at this point and water 2-2.5L per plant.
- Double grape harvest this week.
- Added some nematodes.
Not much news this week.
As you can see on the pictures the girls are doing fine, the Double Grape (living soils) is very frosty!
The Double Grapes will be harvest later this week, around day 68 I think.
Added 5 million nematodes last week and again this week, bit too late I know.
Will update next week with a Double Grape harvest, Forum Stomper needs to grow 1 or 2 more weeks.
Will update this page after curing.
Harvested on monday, it was dry in the weekend (6 days later)
Buds are currently curing so the weight can change a little bit.
BioBizz: 57 Gram (2oz)
Living Soil: 53 Gram (1.8oz)
The Living Soil one had small long buds with a crazy amount of trichomes.
This one smells a bit more earthy than the BioBizz one.
I do not think this was the same pheno, not a big problem but it tells that the difference is not the nutes but the plant itself.
So 5/5 for Living Soil
The BioBizz one took much more of my time with 7-8 bottles.
Did alternate feeding till the last couple weeks.
This one smells more sweet and a little bit stronger.
4/5 for the BioBizz because off all those bottles.
Great grow with great results for a 2x2!
Enough bud for the coming months, will start a new diary in 2-3 months!
Great plant to grow, very easy and handles training and "lollipopping" great!
Its cured one week so I can't tell to much about taste and smell.
The biggest differences in smell is earthy VS sweet, again.
Like the Double Grape the Living soils one is a bit earthier and the BioBizz is sweetier.
Will update when buds a cured for a month or longer.
Livings Soils has bigger buds and earthier smell to it.
BioBizz has smaller hard nuggs and smell sweetier.
