So far so well, Wifey topped her girl. Sprouts in the closet are progressing nicely. The tent is fill up, HEAVY. A little nervous about going away for a week, but it has to be done.
When away for a few days and my friend really came through!!!!
Day56. Added the netting to even the canopy. Figured on switching when she fills in most of the net.
4/23 Trying a few thing to see if I can clone with this setup. Tent is good, tucking and and growing well
4/24 Prepping for the flip. Considering the time options for the 12:12 schedule.
Getting ready for the good ol’e flip. What do most do you guys do for the light schedule?
Is it better say (on/off) 12am/12pm, or 6am/6pm.
Worried about daytime activities in that room.
My schedule will accommodate just about anything, so what are you thoughts?
I set my timer depending on the season. In the winter I keep my lights on at night to keep the grow room warmer. Lights will go on around 9PM so I can check on my plants before bed. Then they will go off at around 9AM. This gives me plenty of time to work on the plants in the morning before they go to sleep. If temperature isn't a concern, have the lights go on and off at your convenience.
Made the flip on the night of 4/24. This are going well so far
4/28-looking good so far
4/29-turned light up to 100%, metered the light down to the plants @ 600 ppfd in the morning
4/30- responding well to the light change hoping the BB catches up to the WW
5/1-repositioned everything, added a blanket on the outside just Incase any light leaks just to make sure.
5/2- switched from transition nutez to early bloom nutez. Installed a 2nd net.
5/3- verified that all 3 plants are female!!!starting the count( T-63 days)
5/4- all is going well. And May the 4th be with you ALL!!!
5/5- light defoliation between the nets
5/6- growing strong
I hear a lot never to do anything in flower that would stress the plants,pistols are showing but no solid buds. I want to hear what you guys have gone through. I’m kinda worried if I do I might hurt them more than help. Thank you in advance for your time.
I always defoliate once before flower then once when I notice they have stopped stretching so around week 4 of flower to open up the light to the bud sites but I will only cut a leaf as a last resort usually you can just tuck it under the net or move it somewhere I try my hardest not to defoliate as she needs every fan to bulk up them buds for you :) So after that I wont touch her again until the 7th week of flower then I will have the last defoliation at week 9 of flower and then leave her until she finishes :) I run a similar set up to you too my friend i use the SOG style rather than SCrog but have a butchers at my diaries maybe get a few tips who knows anyhow my pm is always open if you have any more questions don't hesitate to message and I will do my best to give advice and remedies for problems :) Happy growing great lookin canopy by the way :) I would have a large defoliation just 3 days before you plan on switching the lights :)
5/8- keeping a close eye on them, 2nd week of early bloom nutez
5/9-early morning check, seeing all the top sights Turing into bud formations. Pistols are straight out, and getting thicker. The BB seems to be catching up to the WW height wise and leveling back out the canopy.
5/14-the girls are looking good, almost maxed out the space completely. Fingers crossed they don’t touch the light
5/9- evening feeding- WW3 had very little runoff, BB2&3 are also drinking more but not quite as much as WW3
5/15- heavy defoliation and removed 90% of the large fan leaves
5/16- thing are looking good in the tent after the defoliation all the girls have responded positively so far. Keeping my 🤞!!!!
5/25- life has caught up to the grow.... not a lot of time to spend with the girls due to work and family activities. None the less things are going well....
6/1- buds are filling in nicely and the pistols are starting to turn amber.
6/5- Well the ⛺️ has exploded!!!! Did not adjust the 2nd trellis until now and may have waited too long to move it up. A few minor issues on a few of the top leaves, it’s localized and appears due to the intensity of the light. Buds are doing ok and aren’t showing bleaching, and the smell is RIDICULOUS!!!!!
6/17- things are going well, enjoying watching them progress into late flower. The bud formation on the WW is completely different that on the BB. Going to be interesting how they finish
