PINEAPPLE EXPLOSION! DWC

Day 8 - she is doing very well a. transplanted root riot into permanent home, DWC with 63mm air stone suspended mid pool, NOT on the bottom. b. root is already growing out of the bottom of the upper basket c. the plant is shooting out of the Root Riot, Root Riots work incredibly well in this method i developed. d. TS1000 is 120cm away at minimum intensity while under the humidity dome e. will transplant into DWC bucket tomorrow or the next day, whenever the root is long enough to reach the pool Day 9 - more growth a. under humidity dome, humidity is 99%, and she is thriving in this early stage Day 10 - she will be a monster Day 11 - keeping PH around 5.7 a. noticeable growth b. normal foamy DWC with GHE, root is in the pool Day 12 - nicely growing a. re cleaned the DWC, I smelled something a little funny, probably due to build up of humidity in the misty gap b. will monitor PH every 8 hours, sitting at 5.7 right now Day 13 - growing a. keeping PH low, overnight it goes up about .8 right now from 5.7 to 6.5 Day 14 - growing well a. PH has leveled out at 5.8, there are about 8 roots in the pool b. I have been watering 60ml around the rocks about 3 times a day, this seems to cause roots to take an all over approach to reaching the pool, rather than just going downward.

Day 15 - growing very well a. added in 2 Pineapple/Orange CO2 reactors, "Pineapple Bombers" with piping directed toward the Pineapple Express, these make vegetative growth explode always. I usually use Banana and make Banana Bombers, but I thought the citrus was fitting for Pineapple Express. 😂 Recipe never changes, 5L water, 1KG sugar, 3-4 tsp of instant yeast, 300g or so of fresh sugary fruit. b. PH has leveled out at 5.7, testing the PH 3-5 times a day c. my goal is to win the overall grams per watt category for this strain Day 16 - vigorous growth a. the PH was at 6.2, lowered it back to 5.7 b. CO2 is generating well, smells like citrus in the tent c. each day, we have been putting a big bowl of boiling water in the tent to humidify the plant, our humidity in our region is very low at the moment. Day 17 - most growth yet a. all is well, humidity is around 60% at the plant, still top watering rocks to laterally expand the root mass for a larger plant. Day 18 - another growth explosion a. the plant is growing like crazy, love DWC Day 19 - wow a. i lowered the intensity of the light back to minimum, the plant may have a small amount of light burn, very minor Day 20 - major growth a. minor light burn has been cured by lowering intensity back to minimum. b. PH is holding strong at 5.7 c. the roots are enormous in the pool. thanks GHE pro roots d. bumped up the nutrients just to the next recommended level, nothing more, 580ppm, EC 1.2 Day 21 - growth all over a. DWC is dialed in, 5.7 PH, EC 1.2

Day 22 - very vigorous growth a. removed 2 fan leaves that were blocking the lower branches b. light intensity seems to be good at 25% c. PH is holding right at 5.8, the DWC is regulating itself d. the roots are exploding from the basket, so many in the water, some roots are 50cm long Day 23 - responding well to defoliation a. removing the 2 large fan leaves have allow much more light to reach the base branches, do not want runt branches b. will remove 2 more fan leaves tomorrow Day 24 - crazy growth! a. removed 2 large fan leaves, to open up the canopy b. PH is holding at 5.8 Day 25 - fastest growing plant ive grown yet. a. she grows very well b. defoliated more for light penetration c. ponytailing begins today, 8 hour session Day 26 - more LST a. the branches are getting thick b. more ponytailing today Day 27 - LST healed, flowering a. more ponytailing today b. she is thirsty, has drank about 4 litres from the 15L DWC Day 28 - more growth everywhere a. refilled the DWC with 5L of stronger growing nutrients, also factored in existing nutrients and adjusted loadout for water currently in DWC. b. increased the TS1000 intensity to 37.5, hopefully it doesnt burn the leaves. Still 75cm away. c. performed minor defoliation, removed 4 old blocked fan leaves, and 2 top leaves, trying to slow down the main stem growth without having to top it.

Day 29 - beastmode a. the plant is growing very fast! b. the increase in growing nutrients shows, new foliage everywhere c. performed defoliation on the top 2 fan leaves, hoping to promote more lateral growth without topping d. TS1000 intensity is at 37.5% with no noticeable signs of stress, will keep it there this week Day 30 - growing well a. it appears that the main stem is slowing down a little as plannes b. bud sites are getting much larger, constantly leaf tucking to promote lateral growth c. light is very nice, no signs of stress at 37.5% d. PH testing is nice always 5.8-6 by chemical test e. using different water source this grow, all dechlorinated. Day 31 - LST, defoliation day a. used LST to tie down the tertiary lateral branches, and also the main stem b. all healed nicely, we have a nice flat canopy to begin working with c. will likely ScrOG soon Day 32 - canopy is forming a. she is a LST beast b. the nice flat canopy is forming, removed the original ties for the lateral limbs to grow, they are growing nicely c. apical dominance is almost broken, a little more LST on the main, and we will be ready to ScrOG d. added 1/2 kilo sugar and 2tsp yeast dissolved in water for a booster to the CO2 generators, we have orange/pinapple wine, that is very strong in alcohol. Day 33 - major growth a. the lateral branches have taken over dominant growth, the main is growing slower now!!! b. minor innerleaf defoliation, exposing the inside small shoots to more light c. added 5L of nutrient solution to the DWC. Day 34 - increased the TS1000 intensity to 50% a. the lady likes her increased light, growth all over Day 35 - ScrOG success a. she really likes the net, major reaching growth observed b. DWC is running perfectly, have not had to add any PH up or down to the res. Im using an all natural water source which is high in calcium and magnesium, that has been allowed to offgas for 10 days before use. c. I did not think it was possible for a plant to grow so rapidly.

Day 36 - the flat canopy is forming a. was successfully able to break apical dominance and grow lateral branches with only ponytailing, LST and selective defoliation, no topping. b. PH is always at perfect 6.0 c. will be increasing nutrients next week to preflower blend d. increased lighting intensity of the TS1000 to 75% Day 37 - huge response to the increase in light intensity a. growth everywhere b. she drank ALOT from the DWC overnight, 2L, I think we are entering the preflower stretch Day 38 - last day for CO2 a. CO2 generators are exhausted b. im changing this to a flowering week, the lady is producing big white flowers already c. this is the fastest plant ive ever seen grow d. increased the TS1000's intensity to 100%, max... the plant is very strong, I think she can take the extra light Day 39 - WOW! a. increasing the intensity to 100% caused an extreme response in growth upward b. increased the nutrient stack to the preflower blend with a 5L feeding today, running the DWC at 75% capacity, creating a nice misty gap in the top for the root explosion c. ppm is still at 650, will gradually increase as I top the DWC up with 5L every 3 days eventually reaching the full flower blend and around 850ppm. Day 40 - beastmode 2.0 a. i cannot understand how a plant can grow this rapidly b. her flowers are going to be real monsters c. I may give her a haircut next week, this is a very leafy variety d. the TS1000 on this strain needs to be turned to 100% around day 35, the response to the increase in intensity has been very noticeable without any signs of stress Day 41 - growth everywhere a. added 5L of nutrients to the DWC, she loves nutrients b. I will be feeding these very heavy throughout flowering c. main stem is still tied back, LST, will remain tied back throughout the grow, no other ties are currently in place. the plant has built BIG laterals Day 42 - extreme growth all over a. the bud sites are getting very large, we are going to have many main colas b. the plant is drinking an extreme amount of water from the DWC, we measured 4 liters overnight.

Day 43 - the lady is thankful for the increase in flowering nutrients a. PPM in DWC is 775, PH always 6.0, our water source is very stable and only 60ppm b. main cola growth all over, we are going to have many c. the main cola is not trying to exceed the laterals, apical dominance has been established for the lateral limbs d. I will be feeding this plant very heavy ppm onward, trying to max her out all the way for massive pineapple buds Day 44 - continues to drink so much, and stretch upward a. this plant is growing so fast! b. the trunks of the laterals are so big they are exploding at the base c. the flowers are huge, period. d. removed a load of fan leaves, and cleaned out the bottom of the canopy, no runt limbs e. added 5 Litres of nutrient solution to the DWC, we hit 1000ppm!!! Day 45 - flowers explode a. the flowers are growing very large b. the plant is drinking so much right now, really filling out Day 46 - growth all over a. gave the plant 5L of nutrient solution, DWC is sitting at about 12 Litres, will need to feed more tomorrow, this is crazy, ive never seen a plant drink so much b. PH always regulated itself at 6, the DWC smells like the freshest soil, the Mineral Magic is to thank for this. Day 47 - upward growth a. she is growing upward a little bit still, and also her buds are growing very fast b. next week I will be increasing the bloom nutrients Day 48 - buds are starting their fattening a. I really like seeing this many top colas, first time I have trained this extreme LST b. added 5L nutrient solution Day 49 - flowers are growing a. 5L nutrient solution consumed b. DWC is at 1450ppm, the flowers are EXPLODING with pistils! The DWC is about to go into full flower mode, I give her 5L of dechlorinated PH 6 water to dilute the ppm before I slam her with flowering nutrients. c. I will pump out the DWC and replace with full flowering blend tomorrow

Day 50 - growth everywhere a. the buds are swelling every day, changing over to more potent flowering blend b. pumped out the DWC, replaced with flowering blend above - the DWC water was blood red, because I acidified the plain water to simulate a flush before flower. Day 51 - this plant is loving this nutrient blend, thanks @Bloombuster for the help on my other diary! a. PH is remaining at 6.0, without the use for any PH-, our source dechlorinated water is PH 6.5 Day 52 - all is well a. added 5L of bloom blend to the DWC, the LOVES bloom nutrients b. buds are growing so fast Day 53 - bud size is increasing a. the buds all over the plant are growing rapidly, when you fold branches back and look there is bud everywhere Day 54 - all is growing well a. Increasing bloom nutrients tomorrow, these cones will explode Day 55 - nutrient change a. pumped out all nutrients in the DWC, replaced with heavy bloom nutrients, 900ppm, PH 6.5 Day 56 - major flower growth overnight a. using an elevated bloom blend for the Pineapple Express, dosing her very hard b. will update nutrient mix chart tomorrow to reflect changes

Day 57 - MONSTER BUDS a. this plant has huge buds, and only the 5th week flowering b. the next 3 weeks are going to be crazy with growth c. removed all veg nutrients with a DWC pump out, this is day 2 of full on bloom nutrients, and she loves it Day 58 - speedy growth a. buds are swelling hard, will need to ripen them up sooner than later Day 59 - great growth a. added 5L to the DWC, I think she is drinking about 4L a day still Day 60 - growth explosion a. every bud on the plant is swelling upward b. the buds are VERY dense Day 61 - more bud swelling a. these buds are growing upward and outward its crazy b. the smell is becoming more tropical/citrus Day 62 - like the FastBuds strain I grew before, they appreciate their micronutrients a. the pineapples are forming b. the DWC got another 5L c. defoliated a bit around the canopy to open up the lower bud sites Day 63 - the buds are like rocks a. i squeezed one of the buds, and they are really dense b. next week we move to Ripening nutrients c. added 5L to DWC of FloraKleen solution for 24 hrs, getting ready for RIPEN tomorrow onward! The buds will explode into real Pineapples!

Day 64 - time to ripen these monsters up a. the buds are hard as rocks b. the FloraKleen flush for 24 hrs always helps get ready for the ripening bomb c. pumped out DWC, and installed new Ripen nutrients, 15L Day 65 - growing more a. buds will become even fatter over the next two weeks Day 66 - ripening a. added 5L to the DWC, smaller buds are getting larger b. observed the trichomes under microscope, still too many clear trichome heads for my liking Day 67 - hardening up a. the main colas are becoming very hard, this i like b. they are finishing up, we are in the home stretch for sure Day 68 - beefing up more, they are ripening nicely a. the main top buds are becoming more round barrel like b. they really look like pineapples, the smell is very berry/tropical like. c. she is drinking 5L a day right now Day 69 - still maturing nicely a. thirsty as hell b. frosting up all over the place, most all stigmas are orange c. the buds are rock hard Day 70 - amazing plant a. she is drinking 5L a day b. frosting all over the place, the buds are getting longer and fatter c. looked at the trichomes, almost ready, a few clears are left, we are going longer

Day 71 - Final week of growth, flush week a. they are still fattening more, 2 more days of Ripen to make full 10, then will flush in darkness with Florakleen b. will harvest once Flush is complete Day 72 - tomorrow is last day of nutrients a. Ripen will complete its 10 day cycle tomorrow b. the buds are very ripe, the trichomes look perfect, the pistils are about 80% brown & red, 10% pink 10% orange. Day 73 - last day of Ripen a. Pumped out DWC, replaced with fresh 10L florakeen solution b. once lights go off today, thats it for light. the lady had about 14 hrs of light with florakleen in DWC to get it pumping Day 74 - first 24 hrs of Florakleen a. the buds pistils have gone majority red and orange, the buds are quite long and dense like rocks b. lights off for 24 more hours, then harvest tomorrow c. took 2 of the smallest top buds (there are over 60) and QWISO a little wax, wow! incredible! Day 75 - harvest a. all is drying, incredible, huge plant! will post all the cool pics in the next week update!

Harvesting this monster was great! Will report later on the smoke, tried a few little buds and they are very nice! The taste is already Pineapple. This is a heavy plant that loves Ponytailing LST! 10 days after harvest, I tried one of the curing buds and am quite impressed with the effects this early! it is relaxing, but not ready. I will report back once more curing happens. 20 days after harvest, I tried one of the cured buds this morning and the effects are 10x of what they were 10 days ago. Very relaxing, and nice! I cant take myself away from my creative work! I will continue to update the smoke results. It is soooooo strong after curing for 30 days. Whatever plant you're growing right now keep them going strong, but add this to your garden immediately! The taste is very pungent like diesel on the inhale, but exhale and you taste the fruity pineapple cheesy flavors. 60 days from harvest - SMOKE REPORT: WOW!
