I am fighting with depression , i tried a lot of sativas, hybrids. so i really want to try blue dream cbd, cause thc is lower and never smoke cbd.
i have 6 pots.
i made big big mistake when i seeded 2 strains (straberry amnesia and blue dreambcd) together and didnt note them correctly so 4 pots are one strain, 2 pots are second .. so in true i dont have a clue which one is which. i am smelling stems, rubbing,looking for strain characterictics, so hope you guys can help me in future identify them . lavander smell, citrus smell, blueberry , strawberry smell, so close everything , cant figure it out.
have little problems with middle orange spots,(i think ph range) and two bigger are little yellowing.will update shortly.

time for defoliation. i removed the majority of the fan leaves from the 6 plants three days ago and now side brenches are going up . hope to fill screen in 4 weeks or less, but i think i will lower scrog net for 5 cm. i stopped allready with topping. now i will leave them grow through net. i will add next feeding time more nutrients, little more calmag. i lower solution on 6.15-6.20 ph.
The question is when are you planning to switch the lights? Im running my first scrog as well and I filpped to flower once the top touched the net. The standard should be the top of the cola to be 6 or 8 inches above the net and nothing underneath. I hope this helps brother
i am glad that side tops are going up, but still i am confused with leaves color. i will vegetate for 10 days than i will flip to 12/12. i will leave other leaves alone now . next watering with only tap water on ph 6.5. thinking to flush soil that i remove other salts before starting to put in solution florabloom. i would like some advices for color correction please.. thanks
after i lowered net on 25 cm from medium i flushed them with tap water 5.8 ph . Last flush i put little nutrients. i will wait with next feeding for whole week that soil will be dry enough. i will change nutrients-only ( ph bloom down and ph perfect micro . will try to correct that yellowing, but i think others looks better. will make solution on 6.0 ph
Today i switched to 12/12 so In next days i will try to fill net in the center .. i am thinking to lower light next week, that get more colas.
i pruned some side branches and tops on sides, that not get enough light penetration . also removed leaves which block light penetration to the side tops.
at the moment have big humidity, but from next week i will start to lower it on range 45-55%
at this time i am adding phosphorus only through ph bloom down, but i think i will strengthen this next time with bloom additive. Still repairing color:)) no luck with dark green.
They become more thirsty. i am watering with 1,5L every other watering with solution.
i lowered light to get more tops,but because of that temperature sometimes go over 25C

i am trying to tie her down on screen. in start of phase i tied her towards the center of each stem. Still are some tops under the screen.
lowered humidity for 5 %- tomorrow will install 2,2 pounds of silica gel in the middle of pots .
i really wish to get her faster horizontally

Removed some big leaves that other tops get more light penetration. Odor is stronger. Today i watered with last measure of this solution . I will wait till is dry soil, go with ph down water next.
next step is to completely fill the screen and to prepare new solution with doubled quantity.
i am not so aggressive with nutrients and is really strange she is yellowing again. Funny is that i wanted to double nutrients.
What do you think? Would you wait , flush or just use ph down water for next weeks?
Hello @jungpot! You're doing great with this scrog session! Well it's hard to say with the last pictures you provided, could you try to post a zoomed picture showing the yellowing? If you see burnt tips on leaves, curling-upward leaves, brows spots, or yellowing between the veins, then it's an excess of nutrients. If you're seeing fading-leaves, loosing their bright green and slowly turning to yellow, then it's a lack of nutrients. From what I see in the pictures, I'd go for a deficiency. In such case, we'll need better pictures to tell you what nutrient is involved. Hope this helps, keep up the great work, I'm really looking forward to your progression since this will be my next strain, keep us up-to-date and happy growing!
More white flakes :)) but in truth i am not satisfied with covering whole net . Next grow i will be more focused on that phase.
I moved light from tops higher because of inside temperature around 78-80 F . Lowered humidity on 52%.
Now i water on 4 days. They are thirsty more and more. i watered two times in period with only ph down water.
New week , stronger smell :) citrus, pepper, blueberry, strawberry, sandalwood. i wish i could smoke it now :)) they smell delicious
So i am trying to repair yellowing, i think i will become crazy because of that :) i checked runoff again , its 6.8 ph. I am watering with 6.0 ph. I am making new solution for my next feeding its noted below. if is too strong pls tell me.
Hope to finally correct this color or i will lost my nerves :) its possible sign of root bound or maybe because they are clones, or too much salt buildup?
Its 42 day of flowering. i am watering more and more. They drink a lot, now i only water with stronger solution on 2 days,like 1 - 1.2 L per plant. Color is better now, still not happy with perfect green, but its ok. :)
Odor is much more stronger. I repaired leaves color with stronger solution. That is my last feeding . In next days i will start to trim big leaves and try to lower humidity on 45 %.
Today is 56 day of flower.
SA is still developing some new pistils. Odor is much more stronger and in truth i would really need better filter :)) i will harvest her from 65-67 day.
in the meantime Blue dream cbd developed some beautiful purple notes . i will harvest her next week from 63-65 day of flower.
Easy to grow. I used clones. in early vegetation slow growth, after that vigorous growth. drinks a lot of water. Good for scrog, but next time will not defoliate to much . You can add nutrients as is shown on labels( i was little afraid to burn her in vegetation) she needs feeding a lot.
For sure i will grow her next time outdoor.
i am not such enthusiastic about high thc strains, but this strain is easy to grow. you need to be careful about ph level (as close as 6.0). i will use this strain to make oil. its rich with compact buds and smell powerful. if you will grow it be clever to use good air filter.
Girls are thirsty more and more. i hoped previous watering will last 5 to 6days. So today i must water them with solution , next week i post quantity mix .
Humidity dropped down , still little high ( 60%). Want to get it on 55%, but problem is outside air.
i am using a lot of ties, bought new package :)) really trying to put her horizontally . in few hours before light turn on i will post new photos.
i flushed today with tap water but still cant get under 7 :( any suggestion?

today i pruned again (3/4 & more) under the screen. very very scary feeling :) like i will destroy future big tops, whole plants (thoughts in my head like dont do that, leave it and so on, she will not picked up) :))

Today i bought bloom nutrient and some additives (big bud, bud factor x). Making new solution on slowly sequence, no hurry, still 10 to 14 days to water with new solution
Search ggoogle images for 'Cannabis nutrient deficiency excess' and that chart will explain all about deficiencies and excess nutrients.
That's a well tidy grow you got, well done. You could have kept a few central bud sites, possibly too much pruning, just my opinion. Wanna get as much as possible don't we.
I always water my plants every 2 days and even daily. Better to feed those babies as much as possible imo. If anything I'd say the yellowing is from lack of food. Increasing water times will provide them with more food. Just keep the recommended nut ratios.
Opinions vary but i don't see why you'd always leave the soil totally dry out before watering. I heard but no proof that drying out soil containing coco can change the ph. Now I'm not so scientific in my approach and don't gauge anything presently, so if your irritated by my observations don't worry. lol

can you still use the ph down mixed with the nutrients? That would be the way to go i think.
If you have the tester and the ph down you should use it.
I would just be more interested in using nutrients every watering. And try to maximize watering with out causing over watering.
You still on a winner for this grow i think it looks great, very tidy. If you allow more foliage and stems in next grow you'll get a better yield.
I was wondering about the size of your pots considering if they are smaller you can water/ fertilize more often.
I am using 90 % coco and find it great really, just had to switch over to coco nutrients along the way and realize the ph can be an issue as well which i need to remedy for the future plus mag uptake is one to watch in coco, but alas I'm running a chaotic system and it is not too bad as nugs are good. Also running autos so they are maybe more forgiving.

i used like 20 % of coco and added 10 % of peat. have 19l pots, but i think next time will not use coco at all .i followed your advice and feed 1 liter on 2 days. so if i understand correctly you wouldn't use ph down water at all on every other watering?

I would Not Ever double nutrients. But maybe they can take it but it is never a good idea to simply double. You prob will get nut burn, which is not so bad but then you might need to flush them and it may be simply unnecessary and stressful.
My advice is instead of feeding 1.5 l every 4 days, feed 1 liter every 2 days, keeping the recommended ratios. Then your almost doubling your feeding but not shocking the plants. They could even take 1.5 every 2 days. See what the soil can hold anyways, as in pour the mix in parts and see when it comes out the bottom. You could even try this one one plant for a week and see how it deals with the extra watering and nuts.
Liquid food is available all the time for the plants and when you water air is sucked into the soil so it is a winwin imo. Your basically running hydro but using soil/coco as a medium. The plants only eat water soluble nutrients. When you leave the soil dry there is no food at that stage leading to possible mag deficiency and nitrogen deficiency.
Just my 2 cents, I've tried different schedules and now will feed every 2 days and every day if i find a hungry plant, as in pot getting light quickly. Sometimes I'll just add a little to all of them. They don't show any signs of over watering or nut burn so I like to fed them this way never leave them wanting.
What percentage coco are you using anyways and what size pots. I'm using 12-15 liter so pretty small and suits regular watering/feeding.

This time i will dry her soil a lot. i want she s suffer little bit . Next time she gets clean water. Today i will place silica gel and start reducing humidity. At the moment is on 70%

Yesterday installed dehumidifier , today i checked him. it melted near plug:(( i had big luck not fire up whole place. its very strange because i used it before. it did very well.
so i have enough with these dehumidifiers. i will buy 2.5 pounds of silikagel for re-usage , hope this capacity will be enough to lower 75% humidity.

Always advisable to have a small fire extinguisher in any grow :)

Ph is very important to get correct and can cause many issue.

Solid job my man. I also agree with some other comments, you need to defoliate less and fill the space more on your next Grow... keep it even like you did... just fill the space with bud sites now :)

Thanks Jondo. in truth i am not so much satisfied with growth and color or i am too pessimistic :)) but i think reason is buying bad soil with a lot of carbonate. because of that problems with ph.
Next time will buy better soil. We learn :))
