Gold leaf and pure indica started flowering ahead of others by a few weeks and are kinda stalled out now I hope they didn’t start a reveg
Can I harvest pollen as soon as pollen sacks are visible? or does it need time to mature while on plant? plan to dry out and save some branches from males for possible breeding later down the road. Don't wanna wait too long and risk accidental pollination of outdoor fems thanks!
No Mate you need to wait for them to begin swelling and opening up.
Once they are at that stage you can either pollinate directly from the plant or collect some in something
like a film canister for later. It's fairly important to keep moisture away from collected pollen as it will kill it's viability
For long term storage I reccomend the freezer
@NiceGuyGrows, still not showing sex but I’m gonna cut clones and throw in flower room ..
I have cut them down a ton because I’ve had a few trips to go on and didn’t have someone to water for me.. they’re in 3 gallon fabric pots so they dry out quickly. So my solution was to top all the tops.. cut em low so they didn’t need as much energy. I’ll put some pics up soon
