5/31/2021 - Been feeding every other watering. Alternating between FloraMicro & 6.5 ph balanced water @ .25 ml/l and 6.5 ph balanced water and I'm administering it with a spray bottle. I notice some discoloration on the leaves, as well as a mutation on one of the first what should be 3 finger leaves. Not sure if that's just genetics or something I'm doing.
******************************
6/2/2021 - She's growing daily, that's for sure. There's a little canoeing on the leaves I think from either heat or over watering. I've had a hunch I may be a little heavy handed so I'll lay off until the soil dries out a little more.
******************************
6/3/2021 - just some light watering with a spray bottle & FloraMicro (for my own reference)
******************************
6/4/2021 - just chugging along. The leaves are still canoeing a little bit. I've tried adjusting fan speed/location, less frequent watering, moving the light further away, and it persists. The only thing I can think of is just heat at this point. I cant seem to get it much lower even with the AC on in my house, so if that is the problem it is what it is. I'll be moving her outside by day 16 I think anyway. I was hoping to do some LST however this girls stem is hard as a rock right now. Hopefully I can once she gets outside.
******************************
6/6/2021 - brought her outside today. My yards pretty buggy so I sprayed what many would consider way too much neem oil on her at sundown. I tried to spray rinse some off but seems okay.
******************************
6/7/2021 - this morning she's a little droopy and has some little burns on new growth no doubt from the oil. I rinsed her off some more and put her in some shade to avoid burning. She looks okay now.
I plan on moving her outside in the 5 gal grow bag outside in a few weeks once she's matured a bit. I've been using ph 6.5 balanced tap water in a tent to water thus far. Should I still be measuring ph when I'm watering outside? Won't rainwater undo any ph balancing?
First I would water a lot less. You only want to water an area about as round as you temp meter and as the grows and dries you can increase the water ring size.
If you are feeding synthetic nutrients you have to ph before you feed even outdoors. Because you are feeding the plants directly what it wants.
Light rain shouldnโt hurt anything at all unless youโre deep in flower
But I would cover the soil with a plate with hole and slit to keep heavy rain from flushing nutrients down the drain so to say. Hope that helps and happy growing!!!
I had a botched grow in the past and decided to get help from this wonderful community this go around.
Do you see any potential issues in the pics of my grow so far?
I see discoloration and a leaf mutation forming.
Very common in a small seedling. You can help it you by talking to the plant and being positive. If you want her to perk up and start growing like a champ. Put on some Heavy Metal!
Thereโs not much to do now. You did it well by doing a little everyday. Wait for some development and you will be able to make the difference between the main buds shoots, the second layers buds, and the weak shoots to cut off.
Are these spots fungal? I had this happen last grow in this tent with a humidifier, though Iโm not using it for this grow. Iโve bleached the tent and pruned the leaves. Am I in trouble?
Should I start my flush now? I know itโs not quite ready for harvest, but trichromes are looking pretty cloudy and thereโs not too much spaghetti left. Is 1-2 weeks enough time for this to be ready?
Sheโs looking great. Iโd say more like 2-3 weeks left. I guess it depends on how she response to the additional light.
Id give her another 10 days, then if you do wanna flush id start with just phโed water for her last 7-14 days.
Each one of those pistols ( hairs) will have a calyx that will swell- packing on weight and girth.
Best of luck ๐ฑ
@maelxich, Spilled bottle of lemon pledge, lol.. I cannot stop touching the stem. There is a definate Lemon fairy liquid smell on my fingers afterwars ๐
@Top_Banana, I definitely didnโt let it dry long enough initially, so I have a little hay aroma, however once the nugs are ground up it fits the Lemon Skunk name to a T. Citrusy, like a spilled bottle of lemon Pledge. For a high CBD strain Iโm really surprised, as I seem to feel stronger effects than bud procured from elsewhere. Will definitely be patient next time with the dry
Looking good. I started three different seedsman freebies a couple of weeks ago but the Lemon Auto just stopped growing, I think the seed was old, but the other seedsman freebies seem to be doing well.
@maelxich, I use the eazyplugs which are basically 100% but the two freebies I did get (banana kush was the other one) looked a bit dodgy. I like to plant the seed pointy end down and sometimes it's difficult to tell which is the pointy end so I have to examine the seeds with a loupe, that is when I first noticed that there was a tiny split in the outer coat, and of three seeds that is the one that didn't sprout, same again on the next three. So that's something to check, have a close look at freebie seeds or any seeds for that matter but especially loose packed seeds and look out for any slight opening of the seed case, any tiny split. Funnily enough I put three beans in a pot so two were plenty!
@@Freddd, yea, my first set of beans I got 2 FastBuds Orange Sherbet, 1 Seedsman Northern Lights, and 3 of the Lemons.
1 of 2 Sherbets germinated.
The NL died as a seedling
1 Lemon died as a seedling.
I had botched the 1 sherbet I did germ because it was my first time so it was a garbage harvest, and now I have this which is worlds better than last time.
I have a 5x5 coming tomorrow, and once that comes Iโll be doing Seedsman Gelat.OG, my last lemon auto, and taking another run at FastBuds Orange Sherbet.
@maelxich, Absolutely yes, this is a beautiful community. If you have problems write it in the dedicated section and in a short time someone who knows will answer. If you need quick help, ask also in private, it is always a pleasure to be able to help if I have the knowledge ๐๐ค๐ฆ
@DreamIT,
Thanks a bunch! Really excited to get good.
My first shot was an Orange Sherbet from Fastbuds that got nuts burn mid to late flower and I was forced to harvest at 8 weeks because I couldnโt stop it no matter how much I flushed.
Hoping the community can help me on this one should problems arise!
